Rhine had a shoulder bag over his shoulder, and resting on his hip. In the bag was Jasmines gift that she had already recieved, but for 'unit' purposes of not finding out about the evening dance he was giving it to her again in front of her mother.
It was almost 11 am as Rhine knocked on her door. He streatched, and yawned having had only a couple hours of sleep.

Jasmine is laying on her bed in her room when Rhine arrives, half asleep because of the long night. At her side lays the cat she'd been given as a gift only a couple hours early, purring pleasantly. She scratches absently behind his ears, putting a little effort into thinking of a name for him..
Both heads lift at the distant sound of the knock at the door, and Jasmine moves to stand up- guessing who it is thanks to the warning Rhine had given before he left earlier.
It's Ecavi that goes to the door to answer the knock, smiling. She opens the door, not surprised when she sees who it is, "Hello."

Rhine was dressed in a new pair of perfect fitting blue jeans, and a white button shirt tucked in.
He smiles, holding back another yawn, when Ecavi opens the door. “Afternoon.” He looks over her shoulder seeing Jasmine isn’t behind her or in the same room, shifting the bag on his shoulder. “Assuming your going to let me…” He pauses, and enters their home, and then closes the door. “Wouldn’t want to let the AC out the door, would we.”
He is still standing on the front mat just inside as he watches Ecavi. “Ecavi, I know you’re not into trusting me around your daughter.” He paused. “Given the past record, I cannot blame you.” You could see him thinking through each sentence. “I am the temperamental, no second thought type around most except Jasmine. She is perhaps the one in this world to have a different effect on me.”
He paused breathing deep shifting in step. You could sense he was uneasy, but trying. “I apologize for my non thought through actions. I don’t want you to end up hating me, and not allowing me to see Jasmine because of my actions.” He thought about the previous pre morning hours, but didn’t mention it.
He again looked over Ecavi’s shoulder before returning his to hers. “I’m in love with your daughter. And I respect you as her mother.” He paused realizing he probably sounded like he was rambling. “I want to know that you’re all right with the fact of her and me before I end up with a broom stick up my a** for showing her affection.” He finally said it directly before pausing again.
He pulled the bag forward from where it rested, and opened it. In the middle compartment was the apparent gift for Jasmine as it was rewrapped (not that Ecavi knew). Reaching into the side pocket he pulled out a long slender box, inside was a single stem white rose. “Mothers, even mine with eight children, are often forgotten about…” He smiled, and handed her the box.

Ecavi did have every intention of letting Rhine in the house, which she indicates by stepping aside so he can step in. She is a bit impressed by how he's dressed, for it's better than when she last saw him. Of course, any clothes are better than none.
"Good afternoon," she greets him, then raises an eyebrow when he stares for a moment, then starts into a speech about trust, temper and love. She is mildly impressed, based solely on the tone of voice he uses- it's obvious it's not easy for him to say this to her, the fact he would is nice.
While Rhine is talking, though, Jasmine comes from her room. She's smart enough to stay out of sight, walking just to the corner at the end of the hallway where she can hear what her mother and Rhine say. She'd left her new friend in her room, having closed the door quietly behind her.
Ecavi snorts back her laughter when Rhine mentions the possible results of showing affection, crossing her arms and letting him finish what he's trying to say instead of interupting him now. She looks curiously at him when he reaches into the bag and then pulls out a long box, one that he hands to her.
"Well," she says slowly, looking down at the rose, clearly surprised, "Thank you, Rhine. It's good of you to talk to me, and explain that all to me. Don't worry, I trust Jasmine- and I'm going to trust you. You just behave yourselves-" her tone becomes more joking, "She's in her room."
Jasmine, unable to see the gift to her mother, only hears their conversation. With a smile, she quietly heads back to her room to wait for Rhine to show up, since her mother is apparently giving him permission.

"My pleasure." Rhine smiles soflty, and takes Ecavi's hand, and kisses it softly. "Thank you."
He closes the bag, snapping it shut, and heads past Ecavi to Jasmines room.
He doesn't think about knocking, he's seen her transform, dripping wet, and in a night dress. Opening Jasmines door, he smiles, and shuts it softly behind him. "Afternoon Flower." He purrs. "Having a good birthday thus far?"

Ecavi stands in the entryway for a couple seconds after Rhine leaves, blinking as she takes in what just happened. When she recovers from the surprise, she shakes her head and heads back to the play room.
Jasmine is sitting on her bed beside her cat when Rhine comes in, with a knowing smile on her face. She gets up and goes over to Rhine, giving him a hug.
"Hello," she says, "Wonderful. Look at what my mom gave me."
She nods over to her bed. The feline on the bed is looking at Rhine from a spot at the edge of the bed where he is curled out. He looks only mildly interested, but entirely friendly.

Rhine looks to the bed, seeing a fluff ball purring, and swishing tail. "Adorable."
He pauses. "Doesn't talk does it?" He gives a slight roll of his eyes. "My sisters a black cat at the moment."
He sets the bag at the door, and goes over the bed. Lifting the cat up, rubbing it behind the ears, and the base of the tail. "Do you have a name." He purrs, putting more thought into it so that the message is conveyed to the cat.
"Jasmine, your gift is in the bag, along with something else." Besides the dress box, there is a tall slender box containing a stem of Jasmine Flower.
He yawns setting the cat back down. "I've got to leave by 7:30 pm. I've got work frm 8 pm to 4 am." He smiled at Jasmine. "I'm all yours, as long as you want me."

Jasmine smiles, watching Rhine set down the bag and go over to the cat. She picks up the bag when he tells her the gift is in there, then walks over and sits down on the bed. The cat doesn't put up a fight when Rhine picks him up, and starts to purr when Rhine scratches his ears.
"No, he doesn't talk," Jasmine says, pulling the box with the flower in it out of the bag and smiling, "And I'm thinking of naming him Prince Charming."
She looks up from the flower, "Thank you, Rhine." With a wink, she looks back down to the bag and pulls out the other gift. The one she's already opened, the dress and mirror.
"Well, that sounds like fun," she says.

Rhine snorts. "Prince Charming. As long as you don't kiss him and he change into something differnt. I might have to duel him then." He winked.
"I am use to being up all night, but not use to getting up at 8 to be here by 11. Use to getting up at between 12 and 2. I generally take at least an hour and half in the shower. Another 30 minutes to exercise, and another 30 just for what ever." He yawns. "And, I accomplished half of that this morning as I kept falling asleep."
He looked to Jasmine. "Sorry, I'm rambling. In a couple days I'll have a day off and we can go dancing again if you like, or on some other type of date. I'm not exactly sure what people do." He paused. "So what would you like to do this afternoon." He purred, and kissed her on the lips.

"I wouldn't worry," she says with a laugh, "By the sounds of it, you should probably go home a little earlier than you plan. If you have to work all night, you don't want to be falling asleep, do you?"
She smiles and kisses him back, liking the idea of going dancing again, "I'd like that. Where did you learn to dance? I hope it wasn't too awful dancing with someone so inexperienced."

(here i go creating plot holes for things that will never get rp'd. lol)
"Ayisha and her wife taught me to dance." Rhine smiled. "I'm not as good as I look. And you are a wonderful partner. Perhaps we can become better together wtih practice."
Rhine took her hand, and spun her. Then he caught her. "No I'll stay as long as you like. I can sleep after work." He paused. "So what do you do around here for fun?"

"Oh," she smiles, "That's nice, and I'm glad I'm not an impossible partner. I'm sure lessons would improve my dancing, I'd be pleased to practice with you." Jasmine's smile widens ever so slightly when he spins her.
"Can stay awake until after work, can you?" she laughs.
Prince Charming, watching from the bed, yawns and curls up. He's content to let them talk or dance, or whatever they please- he has no problem with them.

Rhine danced her around her room. Twirling her, he guided her through a not so normal pattern. He was avoiding furniture for the most part. There was the occasional bump of their tails, but nothing that would attract attention.
He stopped when he was dizzy and out of breath from dancing in such a small space. "I think we'll make dancing a part activity as this room is a tad small for the two of us to be dancing."
He sat down next to Prince Charming, pulling Jasmine into his lap. "I bet your mother will turn him into a Cat that will report to her when you, I, or us misbehave." He laughed, and rubbed the cat between the ears.
He brought both hands to Jasmines back. He rubbed her shoulders, and down her back. He didn't allow his hands to venture to any inapproate areas.

Jasmine does her best to avoid making the dancing harder than it needs to be, and less painful than it could be. However, she is glad when he stops, feeling a little dizzy herself. She settles comfortably onto his lap, then reaches down and scratches Prince Charming's ears.
"That's probably a good idea, my room is not well spaced for dancing," she then grins at his next comment, "Or I can turn him into a cat who will create a distraction."
Charming, unaware of their plans, just purrs happily while they both scratch his ears. He can get used to this! With a yawn, he stretches out and then rolls over onto his side.
Jasmine doesn't say anything, but rests her head on Rhine's shoulder as comfortably as she can manage with her long ears and curved horns.

Rhine content, pulls her closer, wrapping his arms around her.
Distraction, using a cat as distraction.
His eyes clamp shut, and his hidden fists are balled. He is holding himself back with every measure of reserve.
Shove that thought from your mind Rhine.
It is everything he's got in him to not just flip her around and pull her into a dizzying kiss. Breathing hard, he releases his fists playing the violin in his head.
She'll think something is wrong because I haven't said anything. How am I suppose to comment to that one. Especially after I just confessed everything to her that I can hardly control myself.
After a few full moments that he is lost in himself, he nuzzles her back. "Jasmine." It is the only thing he can manage to say. He is partly to blame for this situation.
Another few moments pass, painful, he moves her aside off his lap. His eyes are barely opened as he stands, his face is twisted. "I've got to go to the bathroom." He fumbles with the handle. Before it is open he is trying to walk through it. He strings some swear words together, ******** in there are least 4 times. He flings it open and heads down the hall.
"Sorry." He calls it out before closing the bathroom door. Where he just slumps onto the floor. Breathing heavily. Sure, that he has just make enough nose to wake the dead.
Distraction, using a cat as distraction.
He again ran it through his head several times over.
