The den of Swift's clan lies in the north of the Ridgeback Mountains, near the desert. Hanako and Tukufu each have their own caverns high in the cliffs overlooking the desert; Swift has his own a bit lower down the mountains that has been fashioned into something like a hobbit-hole house. Currently a kyn egg also resides in a warm, comfortable spot in Swift's home.

Gender: Female
Personality: Hanako keeps somewhat aloof from other kyns, rarely forming long-lasting relationships. She is quiet and reluctant to take on a role of leadership despite being the First of her clan, preferring to keep to herself. The hatching of her first children may have some effect on her personality in the future, however.

Mate: Mated once to Imbolc. No permanent mate.

Name: Tukufu
Gender: Male
Personality: Tukufu is much more loud and boisterous than Hanako, and will pretty much glom onto anything that will stay still long enough. Woe betide any female kyns who stray too near Tukufu too long.
Parents: Unknown.
Mate: None.
Children: None.

Personality: Don't know yet.

Mate: None yet.

there were two figues standing at the base of the ridgeback moutains, staring up into the high altitude of the cliffs. They could dimly see a few cave openings at the top, though they did not know they were inhabited.

"poke, l dunno if this is such a good idea.." kameko protested. "we don't know whats up there, and there probly nothing interesting either..

"don't worry about it" poke rubbed her kyns ears to make her feel better. "if theres any sigh of danger we'll bail, k?

nodding, though stil a little reluntant, kameko took a large leap and landed on one of the small footholds of the cliffs, and continued from there.

poke wasn't able to jump as high as her kyn, but she was still able to climb the cliff face. although they could not measure the difference to the caverns, they would still climb up them.

Kameko sniffed the air, catching the scent of more kyns and atleast one human. "l think this place are inhabited" she called down to poke. Looking up she spotted the kyn. she kept jumping up the cliff, but this time she was a little slower and more aware. She did not know their intent

"ah, really?" poke couldn't see them from where she was, but after a minute or so of climbing again she was better able to make out the figued. "oo! it's another rider!" she waved up to them, almost losing her footing on the cliff. and then quicked her ascent

the two did not expect another kyn to come down and "meet" them. poke smilied nervously, never being quite conforable near the opposite gender kyn (she assume they were more violent) but she smilied and waved all the same. "heeyy!"

It took alot of control for kameko to not fall off her rock face, but she managed to jump to the next ledge instead, and was able to jump up onto the ledge near swift and the other hanako. When she got there she bowed in respect to the others. She was in their territory after all

"err, sort off" kameko replied, feeling a little mbarrased. "poke liked to do a bit of exploring, searching for things and such. So some of us accompany her on such expoditions... erm, we wont entrude on your property for long" she also added at the end, not wanting to see rude by just barging in

"er, names poke!" poke gave him the thumbs up sign and quickly scrambled up the rest of the moutain, hoisting herself over the edge and sitting down, panting a bit from the effort. "erm, hello there, my names poke mattix, and my kyns name here is kameko. and she's right, we don't wish to intrude"

"yes, l heard so" she nodded, her tail wagging a little as she calmed and seemed to enjoy herself a bit more now. These people seemed nice

"l'm glad.." hearing his question, she nodded and stood up. "erm, yes please, a drink of water would be nice" she watched tukufu with his eagerness and hyperactivness. "he seems like a very exiteable kyn doesn't he?"

"thankyou" poke took the water with gratitude and began to gulp it down fast in order to quench her thirst. It helped quite a bit, and when done she held the glass, not wanting to put it down and risk it breaking.
"how do you handly such a "enthusiastic" kyn like him?" she asked, trying not to laugh at the annoyed face on the kyn.

Kameko looked behind her at the view the cliff face provided, amazed at how high up they were. She always prefered a underground den; it was much more safer then being so high up

stretching a bit to give her tired muscles a rest, poke then followed her kyns gaze to accross the desert plain, a thought suddenly occured to her. "say swift, have you seen any wild kyn around these parts? l'm just curious cause l've sometimes seen kyn walk around the edge of the fields near our cavens. in fact one of them decided to permately hang around"
