Have you guys seen the picture for that thing? The little stick controller that really does look like a TV remote control? Would you use it? Personally, I wouldn't want to. I love classic game controllers. I'm nothing without a Dpad, joystick, and shoulder buttons.

It's too much of a novelty for my tastes. I prefer the more traditional controllers.

i'm excited for it! as much as i do love a classic controller, something new and innovative could be a nice change. i'd love to try something different instead of the same usual. hopefully the remote won't be too bulky, that's probably my only worry. other than that, i'm willing to give it a shot. 3nodding

I'm reserving judgement until I get one in my hands, but I'm sure hoping that it'll be intuitive and comfortable.

They say it's motion sensitive, but even if I could use it to swing Link's sword, it would probably have to be simple side-to-side movements and not the kind of crazy "swordplay" movements I'd want to do. confused

Can't say until I have tried it out. I guess it depends on the game too. For an RPG it'd be pretty cool. I can kick back and choose what I want to do, etc. For a fighting/racing game, it may be a tough use.

Nah, probably not. My tv is pretty old, anyway.

I'm just wondering how they're going to release a version of Smash Bros. on the Wii.
I mean...what would you do? Punch the air?
