Since my SakuraCon plans got killed this year, I'm trying to plan ahead (much like brad is!) for next year. I'm trying to talk my friend into going (he lives in California) and if he does go, he's cosplaying as Link.. so I figure, I'll either go as Malon or Saria.
But I can't decide which one. He leans more towards Malon, and I lean more towards Saria... but we still like both of them. D:

SO. Which do you like better? Is planning ahead better? Do you think my plans are going to get ruined again? D:
Also, generally discuss your con experiences. (: I've never been, before. I was supposed to go this year, but.. as I may or may not have let everyone know (I have a horrible memory), the day before I was supposed to leave (last weekend) I found my cat with a broken leg.. and it had to be amputated... so I didn't go to the con. Yeah.

To get the look down right for Saria, I'd have to cut and dye it, or wear a wig.. and I hate wigs.
Ohm I should probably mention that by Sakura-Con time next year, I will (hopefully!) be a lot smaller. Yeah.

Malon... Yeah...
Don't get me wrong. Saria's cool and all (Green IS my favorite color xd ), But I just don't see her and link having a close relationship as depicted in that pic. What with her being a sage and being like... 7-10 years younger than him. xp

I was always a malon fan, Sarah i saw them as close friends as for Zora and Zelda bah they were just to high strung for link

I'd say Malon. Her and Link just seem to click nicely. In the game, I always did go to the ranch quite often xD I told myself it was for the milk, but I hardly ever bought milk. xD

I'm sure they're both cool characters, but I like how Saria looks better...Malon's outfit looks a little...well...boring ^_^;; and I figure if you're going to con, you may as well get a funky outfit instead of one that looks like you're wearing common clothes.
