This is from the thread rp .::Signet City::. which was created by yours truly. My thread was so successful in The Gaian Neighborhood, that I wanted to bring it here.
Plot
Long ago, ten vampires ruled the Earth. They ruled everyone and everthing using fear, tyranny and war. But they were considered gods nonetheless. But as time went on, there was dissent between the ten vampires on how they ruled. Some believed that what they did was wrong while others believed it was as it should be. But there was only two who convinced everyone to bring peace into the world by letting it go on without their interference and let the rest of the vampires and humans decide there own fate until they were 'needed' again. There names were Vincent and Moneko.
So they left civilization, but the way hey did this was a strange one indeed. They fell into a sleep that kept their souls from disappearing into the spirit realm, leaving their bodies to die in the process. The remaining vampire never understood why their leaders disappeared and soon became lost and disorganized, most of them spreading to the far corners of the world in search for the leaders, or for their own life whileother killed themselves when they realized that humans were beginning to take over. The world became more peaceful and humans after a while took over the world. The stories of the ten vampires became mere legends.
The world became more modern, new inventions and lifstyles spread across the world and the surviving vampires became shadows, forming groups to help stay alive or going on their own.
By the year 3000, even the vampires considered the time of the ten leaders a legend and the small groups that had banded together for survival were now powerful organizations, each with their own problems with territorial issues and making sure the humans never knew they existed to worry about the legends at all. There was only one area that everyone wanted, and that was Signet City, the place where the ten leaders ruled, but that wasn't the reason it was such a prize. The city was an excellent strategic spot for a renewal of the vampire rule, and for the few that still knew of the legends, a place to keep sacred.
The desire of this city is also raised for it seems that all the vampires who live there have begun to be immune to the sun's rays much faster than they should, even are even developing powers most do not have until they are atleast thousands of years old. Does this mean that the ten leaders are returning? Or something more? You will have to find out.

Organizations
The organizations have each staked a claim on part of the city, and it is known by all, except humans of course, what is there reasons there by their signs they wear.
The Bastets: An all-girl vampire gang that are determined to gain as much land as they can for unknown reasons. Their story shows that they once claimed of all Signet City when the leaders disappeared, but joined with the Rajens, and somehow a war between them ensued, causing them to spilt apart. The Bastets never regained the land that the Rajens took when they spilt and ever since....you know the rest. Only the older Bastets and Rajens know about this war and the reasons behind it.
The Rajens: An all-boy vampire gang that came into Signet City seemingly out of nowhere. They are trying to gain as much land as they can for different reasons. They want Signet City so the vampires can rule once again as is their right.
The Lotus: They want to Signet City so they could bring the ten leaders back they could rule once again. The belief in the old legends is strong within each of these members.
The Blaydons: These are the vampires that merely want to survive on there own; the ones that were secretly happy that the ten leaders had disappeared because now they had their own life. They don't want anything to do with the craziness, but they have to be if they want the world to stay the way it is.

Rules
1) Follow the Gaia Rules
2) Cursing is allowed, but don't go crazy with it.
3) Romance is welcomed, but if you want get farther than making out, go to PMs for that.
4) I hate saying this, but no retardation when it comes to literacy. Unles your character has a strange accent of something. Misspelling words is understandable, but not all of the time.
5) I will backhand anyone who does not respect me or anyone in this thread.
6) I know that writer's block can be evil, but if you have to write a oneliner...let be something that can be worked with alright?
7) And tell me if you are leaving for a while okay? I'll post it, or you can post it in your sigs..
8 ) And I also have the right to kick anyone out of here, but I will be fair and try to hear your side of the story before I do.

Personality: enthusiastic, jumps to conclusions alot, she may not seem like the best to be leader but she thinks things through clearly and can be serious and very matuer when she needs to be helps out as much as she can, attacks people she doesnt like at random

History: She doesn't remember much about her past or where she came from. The bastets found her wandering in the woods when she was young. She was raised by the previous leader and eventually took over

History: Anaiya's family was murdered when she was 8. She trained for years until she was 16 when she changed her name to Rikku . She sought out her families killers one by one for 4 years when she became a fighter for hire at 20. She would work for anyone for a certain price doing any job no matter how dangerous. She never kept much of the money for herself instead she would give it to those less fortunate. She could never turn away from a starving child especially an orphan, since she had grown up alone most her life. She worked for Troden for years until he saw her to be a threat and tried to have her killed. She escaped and ran into a forest where she lived for almost 75 years with only animals for company. She soon gained the ability to shapeshift but only into the forms of the creatures that bit her and only only a new or full moon. She was eventually found by Trodens men and they chased her off of the edge of a waterfall.She got amnesia and a few days Later the Bastets found her wandering the woods half starved.

Personality: Basically she is one who gets mad easily, revenge is her motto, and her determination is so strong, that she will do anything and everything to get what she wants. But once you get through her...well..fiery shell, she can give you some bits of kindness and even humor..and if anyone sees her cry, which isn't often..she will make sure you down tell anyone...or else...
History: She was created just as the war started, her loyalty to her master was the reason she was given such a 'gift'. She thought so at first...and then the war had begun in full force, the vampire and lycans at each other's throats and blood running freely through the streets. It was only natural to be happy not be a human, something that could be so easily killed at that time. But when she was captured by the lycans and forced to watched her master torn to shreds, all her happiness was exchanged to anger and a revenge so powerful that not even her soul could hold it. The lycan village was destroyed and so was any semblance of humanity she had left. Once the war was over, she didn't go into a deep sleep like the other's but fougth in any war that she could, wanting to keep her anger alive. But that soon changed once she joined the Bastets. A sense of peace finally returned to her mind as she lived with them and she was once a friend to many of the Rajens when they were allies. Now she's slowly becoming angry once again as the inevitable war comes closer.

History: Jen never really got into the whole rule the world thing. She had always be behind in her fighting, and didn't think much of it. Until things started going sour , she trained hard and became pretty good. She loves to fight, and when she doesn't get something, you'll see her outside practing, trying to get something trying to make it perfect.
Abilities: A little mind control and able to mess with the weather... just try not to get her mad...
Weapon(s): A small pistol. Doesn't carry more then 6 bullets at a time, and she carries a lond sword and a very short dagger.

Appearance: 5'8" Her hair is short (like my Avi) and black with silver streaks. Her eyes are the colour of amber flecked with green. She has tanned skin and wears black all the time. Around her neck is a black silver studded collar with a red gem hanging from it (like a dog tag). Her sign can be located at on the back of her neck.,
Personality: Silvia is loyal to those who are her friends
Sexuality: Hetrosexual
History: Silvia is the daughter of the chief of Amutia Clan, however she ran away at the age of 30 when she found out she was going to be forced to marry into the Calverna Clan (something she very much disliked the idea of). She first met a member of the Bastet gang who promised her protection from her fater if she joined them Silvia has therefore been a Bastet member ever since.
Abilities: enhanced senses (sight, smell and hearing), and she can change into her wolf form when night falls. Also Silvia has learnt some missile spells.
Weapon(s): She carries at all times a steel broadsword strapped across her back, in a red sheath, carved with a series of runes that appear to shift and change. She also carries a small, simple silver dagger (just in case she loses control of her inner wolf someday), which she hopes will never be used.

Personality: Basically, he can be to things: A nice guy, or jerk to put it nicely. He can be nice, funny, and caring all at once if you catch in a good mood or just know him that long, or a uncaring, sailor-mouthed guy you could ever meet...good thing everyone tends to be on his good side...

History: His story is pretty simple. He was one of the many that never cared whether the leaders were in charge or not, but now that he's used to the fact that he was free to do what he wanted, he wishes to keep it that way...
Abilities: He has the ability to control the fire element and has unatural strength even for a vampire...

Class: Rajen Member
Appearance: Seth - This vampire was chosen for his his unique talents. His soft pale skin is exquisitely contrasted only by his long dark blue hair and eyes. His mouth is so soft you cann't help but kiss... his lithe body only makes this stronger.
He likes to wear two golden armlets on his arms (duh) a pair of cresent earrings, and a wide golden band.
He can be seen wearing a long-sleeve white cotton shirt that is flared at the arms, and a pair of black slacks that some how never gets dirty.
Personality: He is usually seen as calm and collected, his humor slipping out of him when appropriate. And when someone upsets him, which his extremely hard to do, he will lash out, more verbal than physical, and give you hell.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
History: He was one of the few who was happy to see the Leaders leave (for his own reasons), even though the resulting war destroyed that feeling. He was hardened far more dramtically in that war than any other event in his life, gaining a reputation as one of the best marksman alive. As the war ended, so did he, finding sanctuary among the more mythical creatres of the elven race. This is where he acquired the strange power with his flute..and the unknown power of making illusions. He joined the newly made Rajen organization a few centuries later to make sure that vampires were once again in rule, but without the poisonous crutch of the Leaders in charge.
Abilities: He has a subtle power that makes anything that he describes be seen in the air. He doesn't know he has it, so it only comes when he is very into the subject he is talking about.
Weapons: He uses the magic brought from his flute, which will either bring illusions or make someone bend to his will. As for ordinary weapons, he would use twin pistols and daggers. (He stayed with the times...what can I say?)

Class: Rajen: He is just a member. A fearful one.
Appearance:Rosevenir Ambrai
Personality: He's dark, quiet, in the more emo sense, and when he speaks, usually violence follows after.
Sexuality: Abstinent - none
History: As a child, Rosevenir was left in an orphanage, as the humans who killed his parents thought he was jsut a human baby. Wrong. The priests, yes, priests raised the children, never respected Rosevenir, for he always was a dark boy. In anger, one day, the elf went into a rage, his teleporting powers surfacing, and chomping deeply into all the humans necks, as he saw fit.
The same night, worn out and exhausted, the Rajens saw him, and heard his story. The rest is jsut normal days, as he trained to fight without biting...but that doesn't mean he restrains from it. Now, he wears the priest garb as an insult to thsoe that raised him.
Abilities: The only reason Rosevenir is so deadly, besides his duel-wielding of a silver rapier and a silver saber is because, with a little bit of his energy, the vamp can disappear from one location, to another. (Like Nightcrawler) Using it in quick succession can wear him out easily.
Weapon(s): A shining silver rapier, it's hilt-hand guard made of graceful twists and swirls, like in all t he elf movies. The saber, silver as well, has a hand guard made with an ancient text, warding off evil...which is a joke sense he's a vampire.
Anything else: Attacks any woman that tries to take his virginity, or anyone else that teases him for it.

Race: Vampire
Class: Lotus Leader
Appearance: Lina Asanti
Personality: She is a calm person who doesn't let much get to her...but the calmness can almost be cold and even frightening when she attacks, never showing much emotion unless you have known her for very long. Then she could show some kindness and even loyalty. Her cool personality is one of the reasons why she was chosen as the leader of the Lotus gang..it can be trusted through anything.
Sexuality: Bisexual
History: She was there when the ten leaders ruled and when they left. It was devastating for her and the others who had worked under them in loyal service, but unlike some who then turned their backs to their legend, she in a sense, understood atleast part of why they left and convinced a good part of her friends that it may be for the best. As time went on however, she realized that the world had become comepletely different to live in, and decided to bring them back, even of ot meant more war. Atleast the war would be short.
Abilities: She has the ability to manipulate the moisture around her making icelike weapons. And if she is near a body of water..well...her opponent would seriously be in trouble...

History: Remus was an average citizen until the age of 20. At twenty he began a brief political career. He spoke to the public promoting peace between vampires and lycans. Unexpectedly, the lycans labled him a traitor and tried to kill him. He ran to the least likely of all groups, the vampires. He figured that they would have more reason than anyone else to fight with his enemies. He began to stop promoting peace and pursued his own revenge. He chose the lotus group because their cause was seemingly the most lawful and likely to bring peace and safety.
Abilities: He can be in either human, wolf, or halfway in forms.

Personality: Usually serious, only Rikku can bring out her other side. She is strong minded and wont hesitate to speak up against what she thinks is wrong. She can seem unkind and almost cold, but she only is in battle.
Sexuality: bisexual
History: No one knows much about her, except she was also a fighter for hire like Rikku. She hardly speaks of her past, Rikku is the only one who she can speak to about it. She still talks to Lina but shes not as open. She does her work quietly and as quickly as possible
Abilities: healing and summoning thunder

4) Character Name: Tara Sulla

Appearance: Tara Sulla
Personality: She's very much a Sulla in almost every way except one thing...trust. She can be trusted to follow orders to the tiniest detail, even if it is something she doesn't want to do. But other than that she isn't easily liked, unlike her Tien who most seem to flock to..o.O If you get past her b****like shell, you might even see the kind person inside it.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
History: She and her family were all deeply involved with the Leaders, most would say that if a Sulla told a story about something the Leaders did, you could count on it as a fact. But when they left, the family had become a pariah of sorts, for it was thought that the Sullas should have been able to stop the Ten from leaving. But who can stop ten godlike creatures from doing anything? But it seemed no one wanted to understand that type of reasoning. Espeically when the war began. The family split apart, each member fighting for more than just the lycans or vampires survival, but the honor of the family. Honor they did not get, but respect for their skills was what they got instead. They had become infamous in their own right, each member betraying another for the side they chose using an extraordinary amount of power to do it. The infamy was something Tara had to endure, making her into the cold person she was now. She didn't fight at all back then, but fell into the trancelike sleep in hopes of waking up to see that the Ten had returned. That obviously didn't happen. But she did find a group called the Lotus who were trying to make it so. She quickly joined them in hopes that when the Leaders were reawakened that her family's honor would be returned and the infamy destroyed.
Abilities: She has the ability to control the wind is an empath, meaning she can feel another emotions far better than most.
Weapon(s): Double-bladed staff
Anything else: Troden, Tien and Tara are all the children of a vampire and a halfbreed, making them a fourth lycan.
5) Gaian Name: SwordHunter James
Character Name: Quinn Siddel
Race: Rith-Kira*
Class: Lotus Member
Appearance: Quinn
Personality: Quinn is always very calm, very reserved, and very rarely speaks. He is loyal to those he calls friends, loyal down to a fault at times, and would do anything for them.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
History: Quinn, despite his young age, showed great potential for one of his race. It's possible that the Vampires, or at the very least someone, was threatened by this, and decided that Quinn needed to be removed. Quinn's village was attacked and by some dumb stroke of luck he managed to survive the encounter, only he survived. Because he could not prove that the Vampires attacked, he holds no grudge. But now he spends his days searching for those that attacked his friends and family.
Abilities: Quinn is very fond of Offensive Elemental Magic of all kinbs that he can use. He is no fully trainned in all the arts, but he gets by with what he can do. Occasionally he can execute larger spells without much problem, but most of the time it's very taxing.

Anything else:1) The Rith-Kiran race is an ancient race of great magical potential. They practice the arts of magic to the fullest, doing everything they can to increase their own skill and power.
2)The Rith-Kiran race is an ancient race because it has been around for so long, not because every member of the race is old. By Human standards yes, Quinn is 100 years, but he does not look older than age 21.

Personality: Othello is a man who will only show his personality to friends, and it takes quite a bit to get there. Should you get there though, he can be quite the entertaining person to be around. If he doesn't like the vibes a place gives off, he'll turn stone cold and ruthless, always finding a way to make it look like he doesn't care, when he actually does.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
History: Not much is really known about Othello. He never speaks of his past, but those who observe him tend to believe it was rather turbulent. It's because of his past that he barely shows emotions, preferring to let his actions speak louder than words.
Abilities: Cold Cunning: The area around him turns ice cold, during which time all his abilities increase. It is also used in an attempt to slow down his enemy, since his attacks will have the added bite of frost. A simple breath from him can send shivers down spines, if he so wants it to.
Weapon(s): Beam sword seen in pic, another shorter sword, a pistol, and a small sniper rifle. Blades on suit can also be used to deal damage, if need be.
7) Gaian Name: Yokiar
Character Name: Kiran Aisling
Race: Lycan
Class: Lotus Member
Appearance: Human Form
Personality: She’s usually keeps to herself and remains calm with an almost frightening ability to focus, though she’s still growing into her own and possesses a petty and childish side. Generally she has the judgment to balance the sides and let each out at the appropriate time.
Sexuality: Bisexual; experimental, leaning towards heterosexual
History: A younger cousin of Remus Sec, she ran with a lycan gang up until they chased her out. When he spoke out for peace during his brief political career she barely saved face for their somewhat distant blood ties, but now that he is engaged to a vampire and a prominent member of the Lotus group, her only way to remain a member of the gang was to assassinate Remus herself. Her opinions, before suppressed to survive, came out full force and she refused to kill a family member who did nothing to deserve it in her eyes. The only escape she saw was to follow the same path of her cousin and seek refuge with the vampires.
Abilities: Lycan standard transformation, simple airbending (air elemental magic)
Weapon(s): Twin poi, two 9mm handguns, and a wakizashi
Anything else: A skilled gymnast and fire-dancer.

Gaian Name: DarkScarlettVixen
Character Name: Merlin
Race: Vampire
Class: Leader of the Blaydon
Appearance: Her eyes are dark red
Personality: Merlin is very, very old, she actually came out of retirement to become leader of teh Blaydon. As such, her personality is rather flat unless she's in the process of seducign someone or pissed off
Sexuality: She swings both ways
History: Merlin was around when the Ten were ruling the world. Rumors had it that she was a lover of one of them but it was never proven. When they left earth, she disappeared for awhile as well. She came back about 100 years ago, taking control of the Blaydon gang which confused many because of the rumors. No one is sure how old she really is.
Abilities: Her animal to call is any feline but mainly black cats and black panthers. She has the ability to teleport, fly, telepathy. Her most special ability is the ability to hypnotize even other vampires.
Weapon(s): Generally a Machete she keeps hidden in her clothes, her claws and fangs, her magic
Anything else: She owns a night club/strip club called Nocturne. It is neutral ground for all gangs to get together for peaceful meetings or negotiations. It is a huge complex with the club on the ground floor. Her office and intimate rooms are also on teh gound floor. The upper rooms are conference rooms for meetings and other such things. Merlin also owns the most prestigious theater in Signet City.

Appearance: Monaleth Saku
Personality: She is a quiet person, only speaking when spoken to or ordered, but she isn't shy...she doesn't does speak needlessly. The only time she'll actually hold a conversation is with her friends and maybe allies. She rarely gets mad, but when it happens, the person will remember it for the rest of her lives...
Sexuality: Bisexual...when needed to be...O.o...
History: She wasn't in the city when the leaders left, but she was there when the chaos from the vampires and lycans split apart. The resulting war left her near death until a lycan actually saved her. They both wanted this war to end, but nothing would stop it...not even the growing love they had. When his clan found out about what he did, they killed him instantly, and tried to kill her, but she was already gone. The action left her pretty much mute, and during the slow and uneasy end end of the war, she left any trace of her whereabouts and entered a long trancelike sleep, only to awaken to a world that was very different from the one she was used to. Appearance: Kaia has long black hair, which stands out against her olive skin, and she often uses it to hide her face behind. She is currently dressed in black jeans, and a white t-shirt, which has seen better days. Her eyes are a normal shade of brown, and her nose is slender. She can be called ordinary, but that is how she prefers.
Personality: Kaia has a fear of interacting with others like her, other vampires. She is often seen alone, and hesitates to approach anyone, unless she is sure they are human, and can not harm her. She is rarely seen with her hair up, and that is so she can hide behind it if need be. Those who do know her say she has a strong personality, can be stubborn and very emotional.

History: She grew up in a small home, near Signet City, and is often seen around the city. Always alone, no one has any idea why. She has made many contacts throughout the city, and prefers not to talk about herself, so little is known about her.
Abilities: Kaia has the ability to create illusions, that look like reality to the untrained eye. Yet, something in her illusions is always imperfect, and that can cause disruption.

Daella -short hair- He is the polar opposite of Lodael. He is almost always sarcastic, only calm and collected when something serious is going on or with strangers, will go off on anyone who dares to aggravate him. Some even consider him a a loose cannon at times...

History: They were once archangels, but that was all anyone would know of them for what they did to have them fall from the heavens is something they will never share. But that was in the time of Kush. Since then, from then on, they traveled the world, learning from many cultures and lifestyle the many lessons of they weren't able to while they were in the heavens. Now they are living in Signet City, drawn to the age old battle over territory that had made them fall to begin with (hint hint).

Appearance: Obsidian is of average height for a woman. Her build is slim and wirey more of an atheltic build but still shapely. Her skin is quite pale, not as pale as a vampires but she doesn't spend much time in sunlight. Her hair is true black or black as the stone obsidian. She keeps it down most of the time, some falling in her face and a cowlick sticking up from the center of her head. Her eyes too are black like her hair. Her face is a perfect oval shape, her eyes are slanted and almond shaped, she has a delicate nose and perfect little cupid's bow lips. Her features are perfect for her face and are symmetrical.
Personality: Obsidan has many facets, somtimes she is flirtatious and playful, other times she is silent and morose. Her anger quickly turns to somethign almost like insanity where she has to struggle not to jump to berserker mode because she's leveled a city by losing her temper like that. It was awhile ago so she hasn't heard too much talk about it anymore
Sexuality: Guys. She is an awesome actress and will flirt with girls when necessary but does it rarely.

History: When she was young her mother, who wasn't much of a role model told her to keep her powers a secret because they made her a freak. So she swallowed them up and did not use them. They'd sometimes flare up and she'd be able to help herself or someone. She got involved in an abusive relations ship with a man named Guy Turner. Once he had her trust he turned into a monster on her and wouldn't let her go. She became terrified of him so she never went to the police or called for help she just sucked it in. It made it worse when her power would flare up and she'd hear what he was thinking or what he was feeling.
Abilities: Aside from her phsyche abilities which will grow if she uses them, she's vrey good at math, has worked as a bartender, waitress, and dancer

He's very strongly built (like a freight train).

History: He was born in a good family away from Signet, joined the Army then later was sucked into a special ops group before he was honorbly discharged after most of his team was slaughtered in a mission that went bad. Personality: Not good with new people. Fun to be around, loyal, strong willed. Has a large precaution to new people. In some sense is like an over protective father.

History: Shadow was once a vampire, living the life. Living under the ten. Apprentace of one of them (If that is okay with you). But going to far, and landed himself a life in some ways a curse, but others a blessing as a four legged mammle. Other than that he does not speak if his past.

History: Her brother is the Director of ODD, they were born in the demon realms but broke out when Goldie was 7. She and her brother saw first hand how barbaric their people were so her brother came up with the idea. With help from some powerful friends of the family they set up the organization. Their father was the first director, Goldie's brother being too young at the time, he taught his kids everything he knew (which was a lot). Goldie's brother was in the first graduating class, Goldie was in the 11th and rose through the ranks quickly. She lives by herself and adores her brother and her job, she's yet to settle down with any particular guy even though back at the agency she's highly desired.
Abilities: Her armour, made by the Head of Artillery at ODD can deflect most magic attacks, it also increases her speed and strength. Her primary weapon is little energy balls she generates, when squeezed, they create an energy sword that can cut through pretty much everything.

Personality: Karrot is a fun-loving exuberant dwarf who is quite a gentleman around women and plays the Bass Guitar and loves to cook. Aron is a straight-edged, everything in it’s place kind of guy, He is often described as cold but his need for order in the world makes his timing on the drums magnificent. Roma is a hothead, an overly flirtatious kind of guy who has never had a girlfriend despite how much he tries. His outward attitude is perfect for when he pulls out his ‘flying V’ and plays lead guitar.

History: Karrot was born to a Dwarven family deep in the mountains, his mother died when he was a young boy. His father raised him with his brother Torrent (“T” silent again) at the age of twelve his father was killed and his brother captured by humans (for his powers). After 3 years of training Karrot saved his brother and destroyed the human village. Another 3 years of training and he then joined with Kaiser Dante and served him for 8 years before he vanished. His disappearance was due to a botched portal spell (courtesy of the Brothers Nescar) that was intended to bring Karrot to Lord Kaiser. The spell was not specific about the temporal variable and sent Karrot far into the future.
Much is unknown about the Brothers’ past, even to themselves. They do know that in their previous life they cast a spell binding their souls, so that when they died, even if not at the same time, their souls would be rejoined in whatever came after life. Roma was the first to die, and found himself in a quickly expiring body, in order to be saved, his soul was fused into Karrot’s. When Aron died days later, he joined Roma and was also fused with Karrot. He kept himself hidden before finally revealing the truth to Roma’s forgotten past. Joined together again, Aron cooled down Roma’s hotheadedness as Roma warmed up Aron’s ice cold personality.
(Aron and Roma are not usually in their Physical Forms and live in Karrot’s mind.)
Abilities: Karrot has the natural Ability to control rock and stone in most of its forms (that includes clay and sand, which come from weathered rock, but excludes metals and crystallized rock forms)
The Brothers do have some spell casting abilities, but only when they are together, separately they have pure physical fighting techniques. Both of them are skilled swordfighters and are fairly quick… for humans at least.
Weapon(s): He has a short sword forged using secret Dwarven techniques to increase strength and durability. If it breaks he knows how to fix it. He also has a charmed stone weapon that is infused with his own power to transform into nearly any weapon, most commonly a dual-bladed battle-ax or a heavy war hammer.

Outside of the almost radical loyalty, she is an honorable being, one who is trustworthy and when not constantly at Ashra's side sort to speak, she can be a very calm and kind being.
Sexuality: She has been too busy protecting Ashra to find out, but if the child wanted her to be a lsebian or even bi she would do it gladly.
History: Milan is of the Litani clan, one of the twelve noble families of long ago who served the Ten well. her familly in particular served under Ashra, the third Leader os the Ten. They did as they were commanded without thought, killing for himand dying for him and in effect became one of the strongest familes of physical combat. This blind obediance also was the reason why the family siddenly disappeared once the Teft left for they would too go into a deathlike slumber until their master returned. In fact, it was it was only after the forceof Nadare's Awakening did Milan Awaken herself. Milan was Ashra's guardian and his apprentice, the only one in her family ever allow to hold him or even touch him without dying or to be judged. She now is in search of her master whose voice is calling out to her, and she will do anything to get to him.

Personality: Lucine is prone to Mood Swings of the highest degree. One moment he's happy go lucky, but the next he's angry or down in the dumps. Only a handful of people have ever been able to control him during his mood swings. Only recently has he made an effort to control them: He only controls them when it suits him, of course. Also, he's been defined clinically as a complete Sociopath. Cruel, heartless, without a conscience, extremely impulsive, manipulative: Those are just a few things that describe him.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
History: At a very, very young age Lucine was drawing on anything that he could get his hands on. He drew on paper, cardboard, walls, literally anything that had a flat surface. As he reached his teenage years, his parents began to notice things about his personality that were frightening. He was heartless; he showed no remorse for the pain of others, even the pain that he himself caused. His parents paid to have him institutionalized during his adolescent years when they found his collection of paintings that he had been keeping. All of them were very gruesome, depicting some form of death. They thought their son was such a sweet boy, but they were wrong.
He spent a few years in the Loony Bin to appease his parents, but eventual got tired of the surroundings and broke out using the special talents that he had realized while there. Following several trails eventual lead him to Signet, where he now seeks the person that visited him. The man only ever visited once, but it was more than enough to spark Lucine's interests.
Abilities: Lucine, while being kept in the Psych Ward of his hometown, discovered that he had the power to make anything he drew come to life. He practiced constantly to try and perfect his work, but not even he could summon something and have it be a realistic material. All of his summons are made out of whatever the painting was drawn upon.
Lucine also discovered several brush skills while seeing the shrinks. Ranging anywhere from explosives to wind to walls, the brush skills are what allowed him to escape his padded prison.

Deck of Many Things: Lucine's Summoning Deck, called the deck of many things, is his deadliest weapon. The art is small, intricately done, but they pack the same punch as any of his larger paintings. In order to breach the drawback that is tied into his power, he spent some time traveling the world before heading to Signet to gather a special kind of material for the cards. The material takes on the properties of whatever it is touching when a summoning is enacted on any particular card.

Character Name: Roisin Caprice

Appearance: Roisin
Personality: Precise, cutting, and much of the time downright intimidating. She’s brilliant, but somewhere along the line a wire became loose—one moment she’s making a joke, the next she’s at your throat. It all depends on how much she wishes to control herself, and whether or not you’ve done something to provoke her.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
History: Born pureblood, she’s very young by vampire standards. Her parents provided well for her, although were disinterested in their daughter. Their current whereabouts are unknown. Rather than worrying over this, Roisin seized the freedom and quickly decided where to take her life.
The start of her career as a doctor was promising. She was brilliant, but as she gained credentials she sought further challenges, pushing further and further into dangerous waters. After a few years she was reduced to treating dangerous patients only all others refused, or tried to help and failed. This brought her briefly into contact with one Lucine Elran, although he escaped the facility shortly after treatment began. Finding interesting work very sparing, she was reassigned to Signet city as punishment as none of her colleagues could provide the evidence necessary to revoke her license to practice.
Abilities: Her main ability is in the cards she constantly has within her reach. She can cause the images within those cards to come to life, mostly as illusions but with the right amount of willpower she can make them very real.
Secondly, she carries an inkpot and a calligraphy brush. Whatever things the ink touches can then be bent to her will, however crudely when splashed, although with more finesse when time is allowed for a symbol to be painted.
Weapon(s): The Tarot (her cards), a short knife, and the calligraphy brush.
Anything else: An avid artist most of her life, she used painting in the treatment of many of her patients.

Uncovered Leaders
This is a special area that will contain the Leaders that have been foud. Will all of ten of them be found? Who knows...
These Leaders shall be NPCs until someone claims them as a permanent character:
Gaian Name: NPC...for now
Character Name: Lotan
Race: Lycan
Class: Tenth Leader
Appearance: He very much looks, in all sense of the word, wise. In human form, Lotan is middle aged with the tanned skin of one who is used to being outside. His hair is short and black with only bits of gray at the edges if his sudeburns. His eyes are dark brown, almost black when not shining in the light (which is normal for him).
Hybrid form is really no different from the legends of old. Tall, muscular man-beast (werewolf) with grey gur and a line of black part down his spine. His clawlike hands and feet make it easier to run on four legs rather than two.
There is nothing really to describe in his wolf form except a few things. He still has grey fur and the line along his spine, but his eyes are slightly brighter, easily showing how well he could see in the dark. He cannot of course speak in this form and barely can mindspeak, for the instinctds of a wolf has no need of such things. So, for any other being other than another lycan to tlak to him, they must bring another lycan to in the wolf's tongue, something that cannot be learned or imitaed by any other species or magic.
Personality: He is not wise in only looks, but in mind as well. Kind and stern, only when needed to be, he can easily be seen as a father figure or a good friend...except in both hybrid and wolf form, then it can be seen why he is one of the most feared and revered beings in both lycan and vampiric history alike.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
History: As the legends of he Ten Leaders have stated, Lotan is the tenth Leader and one of the three who holds dominion over the lycan race.There had been no records of or even legends of where any of the Leaders originated for none of then have relinquished such information, but everyone is certain that they may have been the first of every being ever made. Therefore, it is safe to sayyjay Lotan and the other two lycans were the first to ever step foot on this world.Sadly, he is not only the guadian over the (male) lycans, but he is also the watcher of Aurora, the ninth Leader who is the second lycan (more about her in the next profile).
Abilities: All of the Leaders possess great physical, mental and spiritual powers, but only master in one or two spexcific areas. In Lotan's case, his physical strengt his something not even many of the Leaders would contend with. Most have debated if that is his true strength for he is also one the few who is strong enough to resist Aurora's powers(more in her profile.).
Weakness: His notable weakness is the ine reason why many lycan consider him more vampiric than anything else. He is very sensitive to light, so senseitive in fact that even artificial and candlelight irritates his skin. The onlylight that has no effect on him is moonlight, which is why he is believed to be the reason lycan tend to trransform easist under the moon's rays.

Appearance: At first glance, Aurora has an innocent beauty about her. With the look of someone in their late twenties, pale skin, long jet black hair that reaches her lower back, and an athleticly thin body, she could be quite a catch...if it wasn't for the mischevious look in her bark blue eyes.
Her hybrid form would of course look less innocent, but it is just as beautiful and deadly as her human form. The black fur all over her is only marred by the large white diamond on her forehead. Her dark blue eyes hold a feral look along with the mischief..if she ever allowed anyone to se them.
In her wolf form, she is a sight to see. Jet black fur that clearly contrasts the white fur around her neck, making it look as though she was wearing a collor. Her eyes are completely blue and her mouth seems to look as though she is grinning just as she does when a human.
Personality: If Lotan is the epitome of wisdom, then Aurora is the epitome mischief and chaos. It is clearly an understatement to say that you must be on your toes when talking to her, for what she has in mischief, she also has in annoyance and blunt honesty. Though if you give her the same things she will be hypocritical and become extremely angry or upset in some way (she is one of the most powerful beings on the planet..she can do that..). But her plaful attitude won't allow her to be upset for long...nor care enough to try to stay that way.

History: Unlike the belief that since Lotan holds dominion over the male lycan rac e and Aurora the femal, she holds dominion over the minds of both genders..and much of the instincts and emotions of the other races. This is why Lotan must watch over her for because of her playful nature, she has a tendency to cause chaos throughout the land. The tales of how many great cities and empires crumbled overnight all have something about her in them.
Abilities: It is easy to realize what ability she has from reading her history. The mental strength and a small part of the magical realm is what she masters. The ability to almost control a person's mind by manipulating the right emotions and instincts clearly show that she may not only b ethe smartest, but the most powerful Leader of then all...even though if this is said in public, a warlike debate would surely arise from it.
Weakness: A weakness which is known by many but stangely not herself is Lotan and another that only the Leaders know is darkness. For the first weakness, many who see them together immediately see how..obedient I guess you could say..she is when he is there, That is why if Aurora has caused too much cahos for anyone to handle, they would be sure to talk to Lotan to make her stop. Now the second weakness if far more subtle than the first for she can be seen in dark areas all of the time, that is why most believe she became so pale in the first place, but that i snot the case. Darkness has an effect on he rlike it does with humans..just far faster.She goes into a trancelike sleep which could last for centuries if she hadn't gained the ability to bright forth light form the inside, hence the pale skin. It is more like her aura is shown all around her which makes many come to the conclusion that she is the reason auras can be seen and felt in the first place.

Anything else: She is not as known to be one out of the two Leaders who has dominion over the 'mythicl; creatures humans think faeries, griffins and the like are, but sh eis. For those who know this, the playful and mischevious nature faeries tend to have are thought to be from Aurora's doing...

Class: Eighth Leader
Appearance: Dorien is one whose looks are just as intense as his personality. With skin the color of moonstone and just as smooth, long white haite hair that is always seen pulleed into a ponytail and two long bits dangling over his face over his eerily emotionless face, you easily get the impression that he would rather kill you that stand a minute alone with you. Eyes the color of ice and a body that is not surprisingly cold to the touch, one would think someone of such intensity would be hard on his baody as well but that is not the case. Dorien is slim, but with only enough muscule to show the tiniest bit of how fast he really is. He is also tall and extremely light on his feet, making him one who can easily frighten someone at will.
Personality: There is no true way to stress how intense Dorien is except by repeating it atleast once in every sentence. He is outward and inwardly intense to the point of making him known to bring everything to a stop as he walks by. It is not surprising that such a person does not talk much and when he does it is with a soft voice and each word is short and to the point, mkaing him none worth listening to. Just as his body os cold to the touch, so is his attitude. You could even fancy seeing steam come ou tof his mouth and body as he does anything. In other words, he is not one an person, whether friend or foe, would stay near for long (good thing he is solitary by nature).
Sexuality: Unknown (Most believe he never will like anyone of any gender)
History: If Lotan and Aurora and the thrid lycan had domion over the lycans, then Dorien had dominion over the elves and anything dealing with the wind, making him the first to gain control of the wind and the beings who fly within it. If that was the case, then he never said nor did he show any indication of it, but this is not what he was known for. It was the decision to for the Leaders to go into their deathlike slumber that put his name in the darker light for vvampires and and lycans alike, especially during the Separation. Moneko, Vincent, himself and another Leader were the key reasons why the Ten Leaders left the world. No one except the Leaders themselves know what he said, but all everyone does know is that it was long enough for him to speak longer and more passionately than he was ever noted for.
Abilities: He is one of the few Leaders who has a balance of physical and spiritual power. Physically, he is the fastest out of all of the Leaders though rivaled by only one person who will be named another time. This is why many think that his attacks are often in mulitple strikes, but the brutality and preciseness of those attacks come from only his spiritual power and will. His mind is one thing no one should venture inside, let alone his soul which many are certain would drive you mad. He has never shed a tear nor has he ever met a will he couldn't break. That is why he was so carefully watched over by Moneko herself...when she was awake.
Weakness: Dorien's most powerful weakness is blood. He craves it as if he was Embraced for the first time whenever any of his senses, heightened by his deafness, finds it. His fangs grow longer, his clawlike nails grow sharper, and his eyes are already ice become bloodred, including the whites. But his silence stays the same. It is that one thing that could mean an assured victotry or an unimaginable massacre, no matter what side he is on.

Race: Wind Elemental
Class: Seventh Leader
Appearance: Bieng only composed of only the wind, she can easily change her form to suit her needs and does it as easily as humans changed clothes. But there are a few forms that are her favorite: the form of a small child, a grown woman and an elderly one. All of these are in her pure elemental form. There are occasions where she would have to generate alot of power to alteast have a human form, but she would have to use a shell specifically made for her to maintain that form.
Personality: What Aurora has in mischief, Seine has in curiousity and some can even say..childishness. Quick to ask questions, especially ones that would make anyone blush, it is strange to think that she wouldn't know everything there is to know, but much like a child she can be very forgetful or atleast pretend to be.
Sexuality: She has never been extremely interested in either gender...
History: Dorien may have the ability to manipulate the wind, but it was Seine who taught him. She truly has dominion over the air and the the beings that fly within it. She has been known to create powerful storms when angry and even hurricanes, but that was always with the elemental of water who will be discussed later.
Weakness: As every element has a weakness and a strength over another, Seine and the other elementals within the Ten follow that rule. She is weakened by the earth and therefore the elemental of earth an overpower her.

Lina was standing near the water, her eyes closed as she thought about the past. It was so...much easier back then... she thought as she heard footstep nearby. A small grin appeared on her face as the footsteps stopped. Her eyes slowly opened, watching her reflection in the water, "I shouldn't be surprised you are here..."
