I am rather proud of myself. I can play all of The Grouch. Sure, it's pretty easy, but I am just thrilled that I can play the solo, and that I learned it without much trouble.

So:

Discuss moments of 'yay-ness' that have resulted from you learning a Green Day song on your instrument of choice.

If this is stupid, lock it, I guess.

I just started learing how to play guitar, so my chances of learning any Green Day song any time soon are pretty slim to nil. I can sing some of them, though, so I guess I get some moments of yay-ness from being able to do that.

Damn, that's nifty. I'd love to play that. WTF. I have the International Superhits book. WHY HAVEN'T I LEARNED THAT YET? surprised

Fashion Victim is really fun to play. So is the solo in Whatsername and the first riff in We're Coming Home Again (Homecoming).

Hehe. It was mad spiffy, but now I am sad because I was an idiot and stopped practicing when my band died so now I can't do it anymore because my endurance went down the crapper. And I know that was a run-on sentance >.<

I can play Good Riddance, Stuck with me and I fought the law, in my guitar .... Good Riddance was the first song I learned to play, even if still i am a starter because i just have with my guitar 4 months....it took me a long time to learn IFTL, but the results are awesome ^^, and stuck with me....it's not that difficult, but i almost cry when i got the complete song on my guitar! i even shouted to my dad, hey! i got a green day song!
