It's kinda funny, if you sheathed it you wouldn't be able to pull it out. (Sorta like Kyo's sword in SDK)

True. It's called a nodachi. Very long and usually heavy. And of course the added weight needs more strength to wield it properly.

ah the nodachi great katana, ment to hack down calvary [horse and rider in one hit]
i would fear anyone who coud wield it so smoothly and elegently as Sephiroth.

SF Ibuki True. It's called a nodachi. Very long and usually heavy. And of course the added weight needs more strength to wield it properly. its called a Masamune

And of course the added weight needs more strength to wield it properly. its called a Masamune No. A Masamune is a sword created by a Masamune (person) So a Nodachi could easily also be a Masamune but not only a Masamune, no sword is only a Masamune. Masamune is somewhat of a legend from his swords. It was said that a sword made by him never needed to be sharped. He also poured his heart and soul into them and that is why they were so well known. Today it seems like there was only one direct disended of Masamune, but he too makes swords in the traditional way.

i have the sword i have Sephiroths Sword. i bought itlast night and it is heavy as heck. it cost me about 300 dolors

Yes, it's called the Masamune. Masamune's swords gained a hell of a reputation, and are freqently featured in Square-Enix games as legendary swords. The fact that it is a nodachi-style sword does not stop it from being "the Masamune"
