Summery = Takaya Ohgi is a guy who just wants to protect his best friend Yuzuru. After Yuzuru starts to act weird and misses school a couple times Takaya starts to worry about him. Naoe figures out what has been happening to Yuzuru which was that he was being possessed by a sprit and gives him a protective bracelet. Seeing Takaya, Naoe knows that he is his master Lord Kagetora that one who he loves. He is told by Naoe that he is supposed to exercise vengeful spirits and since Takaya is Kagetora he is told that he has the ability to do so. The problem is Takaya doesn’t remember anything about Kagetora. What happened in the past? Am I really Kagetora? Those are the thoughts in Takaya’s head…The life of a possessor is a hard one.

I love Mirage of Blaze. I have wanted to watch it since it first came out and have been waiting till the day I could see it. Then a while back I finally got to see it. Its such a wonderful anime. 3nodding
I seen all of the anime (Several times) and the OVA.
My favorite would be Naoe. 3nodding And Saori of the girls because she is just so funny. But I also love Takaya, Kotaro, Lord Masamune, Kojiro Chiaki, Haruie....heehee most of them. XD I didn't care for a couple of them but I like all of them mains.
Favorite episode would be episode 3 (Saori was funny in that one.), The one either last or 2nd to te last and the second one of the OVA. Yay for Naoe! xd ...Well sort of.
I don't care for the opening or ending songs. The one who sings the opening song sings a little too over the top for my taste. It has a good melody to it especially the begining. 4laugh

Yupp, is good anime. Sometimes it was hard to follow, and I wish is was longer. I wanted to see the battle of the netherworld or something like that. I wanted soooo much more blood biggrin

Takaya Ohgi/Kagetora Uesugi/Saburo Hojo - The main character of Mirage of Blaze. He is actually Kagetora but has no memories of it.
Nobutsuna Naoe/Yoshiyuki Tachibana - A loyal servant of Kagetora who has lived as a possessor for over 400 years. He is in love with Kagetora. 
Haruie Kakizaki/Ayako /Tsuta - She is a member of the Uesugi Netherworld Army, along with Takaya/Kagetora who is the leader, Naoe and Chiaki. Haruie is a man but since possessors have the choice between gender he wanted to be a woman and has been one for about 200 years.
Chiaki Shuhei/Nagahide Yasuda - He is great at hypnotising people and animals. He doesn't seem to like Takaya much at first. It is said that he is the strongest next to Kagetora.
Yuzuru Narita - Takaya's best friend.
Saori Morino - Takaya's friend who has a crush on Yuzuru.
