Meaning decrease or remove?

Off the top of my head, I'd like to decrease the power level of Rachel Summers' Phoenix. She works with the Excaliber group dynamic but her power level can be too overshadowing.

For removing powers... probably someone for whom it would lead to strong character development but I'm not quite sure who that would be.

Wolverine, for a year or so, because I've really had enough of him to last me a long time. It would be nice for him to have a rest as a character.

Captain america, I just want to see the look on his face when he gets his butt kicked.

...Captain America is one of the world's most skillful fighters, and trains hard enough that even without the Super-Soldier Serum, he would have one hella fine fighting physique. The Super Soldier Serum doesn't do anything but permanently locks his body into the peak of human perfection; beyond that, he doesn't have any powers.

Yeah, he is, thats why I'd only want him to lose his powers for a little while, but he overshadows many of the other characters.

Ok mabey, but he's still a geek. I mean he has a friggin target for a shield. It's like he's saying 'Hit here'.

That's possibly the worst argument I've heard in a long time. For starters, his shield is not a target, it's the American Flag in circular form. And secondly, that's purely cosmetic, and has no implications whatsoever on his fighting ability. And thirdly, one would think that he would WANT people to hit his shield.

Good idea. But I was thinking, if Wolverine lost his healing factor, wouldn't he die? Isn't the only thing keeping the adamantium from crushing his organs and such his healing factor. I'm not too sure, cause I assumed the adamantium was ubber heavy.
Also every time he'd snkt he'd probably bleed to death too. Well i'm not sure how this would work, seeing as how the mechanics of biology change once they come to the Marvel universe. rofl

I would want to depower Apocalypse so they can finally kill the guy. Too egotistical that one...

The Scarlet Witch. Though I may not know much about her, her powers scare me.

I was thinking about that today, well, I sort of was. I've been reading New X Men, just after M-day- if Wolverine had lost his mutation he probably would have died- there is no way to get the adamantium off is there?
