What program do you use?

Erm... these really aren't that great.

* The frame rate is horrible.
* It moves too quick.
* It is not smooth going from one frame to another.
* The objects used are not smooth and are too..."jagged".
* All the lines are the same size, there is no variation even when it is needed.
* Why are there no floors...?
* They are random, which is not a bad thing, but you have done it randomly in a way that is confusing and not really that enjoyable.
* The things detailed are not correct. A shotgun firing a bullet and having a shell come out at the same time atleast 5x the size of what was fired? And the arrow which the guy threw in the same animation... he didn't throw it, it just somehow attracted to the other guys crotch like a ball-bearing to a magnet.
* The bodily movements shown couldnt be performed by the most professional gymnast if she was tripple jointed... sweatdrop

I know it is fictional but im guessing the guy is human, so why isn't he shown as one? confused

Sorry to pick holes and i appologise now if i offend but its what i see being an animator myself and if i dont mind saying so myself, a pretty good one too.

*becould i don't want them (makes my cpu slower when i use that function)
*well excuse me
*well i wanna see you make a good animation at 4:00 in the morning
*not my fault i can't make them walk crying

So basically the artwork of the sticks should be better, and its movements are very non realistick. Just make everything smoother especially the actual movement.

the stickman ones you need to learn to get them less stiff and work on the walking and smoothness

Yes, very much like that. Smooth, fluent, and just lovely overall. Now that i look again, your stickmen remind me of knights in heavy armour, the joints being used to a degree of abnormality and the movement rigid and firm.

I take it you are using the pivot program, yes? Well, i have used that for a while along with most other things i have tested and thus i know what im on about, and some of your awnsers are not valid or dont really make much sense. sweatdrop

By the way, i know this is a long post but to all who reads this sentence, DO read on, it may well help you loads more than you think!

* The frame rate is horrible.
rabbitcaster
*sorry can't change it

Actually you can, just move the frame rate bar upwards so that the frame rate speeds up, simple.

J-Barney
* It moves too quick.
rabbitcaster
*once again not my fault

Yet again, it is actually. Just slow the movement down! In other words, if a movement of an arm from facing downwards to upwards took 20 frames, make it 30 or 40, to space out and smoothen the animation giving better quality and a slower, more natural speed.

J-Barney
* It is not smooth going from one frame to another.
rabbitcaster
*see below

A fine example. If you can animate the same way the person animated that comic animation of a pivot man then you can be classed as a skilled animator.

J-Barney
* The objects used are not smooth and are too..."jagged".
rabbitcaster
*you try to use my program

I have used the program, i have made loads of creations from it and they all look smooth, varied, silky and of a good quality. Thats because i kept the frame rate high, the movements between each frame low and the movements themselves natural, mimicing the bodily movements of things in real life.

J-Barney
* All the lines are the same size, there is no variation even when it is needed.

rabbitcaster
*i can't change the size or it would make everything bigger

You can change the size of the lines and not the object you know. Simply make the object with thinner lines, easy.

J-Barney
* Why are there no floors...?
rabbitcaster
*becould i don't want them (makes my cpu slower when i use that function)

Having floors is a function? eek That has really confused me... none-the-less, it is fine to not use floors but your ground level changes everytime your characters jump or land. Its like they are on a ever-moving water bed which rises and falls in a matter of split-seconds.

J-Barney
* They are random, which is not a bad thing, but you have done it randomly in a way that is confusing and not really that enjoyable.

rabbitcaster
*well excuse me

I know you are maybe just trying things out, maybe just playing with ideas that pop into your mind (who doesnt?) but the fact they are random to a point of confusing doesnt deem them suitable to be enjoyed by the public here. Fine, random stuff of good quality to show what you can do, but you are lacking in that area too sadly. sweatdrop

J-Barney
* The things detailed are not correct. A shotgun firing a bullet and having a shell come out at the same time atleast 5x the size of what was fired? And the arrow which the guy threw in the same animation... he didn't throw it, it just somehow attracted to the other guys crotch like a ball-bearing to a magnet.
rabbitcaster
*well i wanna see you make a good animation at 4:00 in the morning

I have made one at 3:20am when i couldnt sleep one night and that same animation got used as a advertisement for one of my mates websites. And he is a professional web designer, has his own company and everything, gets paid to offer hosting for other peoples websites. Cant of been that bad then! And why are you making animations at 4 in the morning anyway?!

J-Barney
* The bodily movements shown couldnt be performed by the most professional gymnast if she was tripple jointed... sweatdrop
rabbitcaster
*not my fault i can't make them walk crying

Soon as you said that made me think: You need to learn (or re-learn) the basics of animation. It may be tedious going through how to do this and that but its invaluable intel for when you want to be more adventurous. And i wouldnt worry about walking issues, many people find it hard to make anything walk to what seems to be naturally "human" like (even me at times!) There is a small animation of a man continously walking which should of come free as a preview with pivot. If you haven't got it for whatever reason, i sugest just googleing something like "walking stickman" or "walking man" to find a movie clip that shows what it should look like both for the animated version and as a template from an actual human being.
