Wait, mods! Before you lock this thread! This is for so much more than just the saxophones!
Okay. So it has come to my attention that...
PEOPLE CANNOT FRIGGIN' SPELL SAXOPHONE.
Isn't this bothering anyone else? Am I the only Grammar Nazi in this entire guild? CAN ANYTHING BE DONE TO SOLVE THIS LACK OF CORRECT SPELLING THAT IS PLAGUING THE BAND NERD GUILD?!
No, seriously, can it? I have to gauge out one of my eyes every time I see the word "saxaphone". I'm runnin' outta eyes. gonk

Yea, that's starting to bother me. I used to be a victim of misspelling, but then I recognized what I was doing and felt like a really big idiot, I could play an instrument that i couldn't even spell. xd People need to learn.

Yeah the way to fix it is
1) Get over it, nobody is perfect. 2) People who are spellin it spell it right 3) Use Sax instead of Saxophone. Or Alto, Tenor, Bari, or Saprano instead. ^^

I am a huge Grammar Nazi (seriously, it gives me almost as much joy as fluting), and it bugs me far more than it should, but if you play an instrument then damn it, learn how to spell it!
I am tempted to lock threads when they are misspelled because it both annoys me...and it is usually a dumb question. =X

Kito Yasha, question:
Flutist or flautist?
I'm curious about which one you'll pick...

I, too, hate it when people mess up how to spell their own instruments. I actually just started playing the sax for Jazz Band, but I can still spell it. And I'm sorry about your eyes, it must hurt to stab them all the time.

Ash Rail Kito Yasha, question: Flutist or flautist? I'm curious about which one you'll pick... I've never spelt that.
I say it like 'flautist' but hmm...
