No. It's the same old "Fire wrapped Demon" art I've seen in Magic, other card games, and RPGs.
My favorite artist was the surrealistic Amy Weber, and the Foglios were great too.

|They are good as artists but John Avon and Mark Zug are by far the best. And about Rakdos, the Defiler he is soooo BROKEN. But that's cool

I've always enjoyed Carl Critchlow's art work, especially Bog Raiders.

[criticism]Well, Boros and Szikszai (why haven't they named a guild after him?) are probably some of my favourite illustrators - but Rakdos Ratlord sucks big time. I mean, he is just the typical bad guy, and guys like him is in almost every Rpg/Fantasy game - as the typical bad guy! He's just the iconic demon, and he makes us all think "...Yeah, you sac half of your permanents to... make him sac... half of his...?" I mean, Greater Havester at least makes your opponent sac twice as much. (although that would be unfair with Rakdos if he made the opponent sac everything...) And no - yes, that is my final answer - he is not the best artwork they have made. It has to be like... Everything else!!! (except that Yeti Mutant from Coldsnap! Yuck!!!)[/criticism]
*bows* Thank you all very much for reading. (You: burning_eyes )
