Up in one of the larger trees in the forest, a human woman sat, looking out over the area. Her slanted, dark red eyes, the color of old blood, looked from one castle to the other. She laughed the kind of dry, humorless laugh of someone who found very little funny.Angels and demons, she thought bitterly, both are useless pawns in a moronic war. She brushed a strand of deep burgandy hair away from her face to tuck it back behind her ear. She began to play with the straps of the strange contraption she wore on her left wrist, some kind of sheath for a small knife, but there was a spring involved somewhere near the hilt. She again looked from one castle to another, moving one leather-clad leg so that she could rest her chin on her knee. "Completely useless, the lot of them," she muttered under her breath.

Karma stepped from the Castle of Demons a smile on his face he knew something knew something was walking around. He laughed and Kronos stepped from his hiding spot. "You feel that too brother?" Karma nodded to his older brother he removed his hood from his head his Black hair covering a Long scarf that layed over his eyes. "Should we seek this?" Kronos smiled and stepped into the forest his hood remaining on his face. Karma followed suit they moved quickly thru the forest the Priests of Draconis.

As the two approached the tree she sat in, Ravyn shifted slightly so that the leaves would hide her more completely. She'd settled into a crouch on the wide branch she'd been sitting on, her hands on the wood between her black leather boots. She tilted her head to the side and strained to try and hear the two as they walked.

Karma looked at his brother looking around his hair matted onto his head. "Brother, Draconis is happy with use after we fixed the castle. I am happy we are once more his priests." Kronos nodded and spit at the tree an acid burned a small hole in the trunk. "Karma Put your hood on we're in the presence of someone." Kronos was too smart for his own good he hit Karma in the side. Karma in response flipped his hood over his head. He looked around not seeing anything and grumbled. "You lie I see no one and feel no presence in out midst."

She watched the scene below her with rapt interest. Her legs were starting to stifin as she stayed still on the branch, poised. When one of the two spit the acid, she jumped slightly, rustling the leaves around her. It took all of her rather strong will to keep from crying out in surpise.

Kronos looked up with a smile. "Step from the shadows Wench you have already been discovered. I am not named Kronos for no reason." Karma sighed and looked down embarrassed by his brothers words and action. "BROTHER! Please stop you shouldn't show such disrespect." Kronos growled at his brother and Karma quickly silenced. "I'm sorry brother."

After she was adressed by the one that called himself Kronos, she tilted her head to the side hard enough to make a popping sound and sprung from her hiding place. She lept off the branch, aiming her landing towards the two brothers. If she was going to have to fight them she might as well catch them off guard right off the bat.

Karma Shifted his body his small burst of speed moved him a distance far enough so if he had to his strikes would be true. Kronos however stood still a smile on his face. "Wench your tactics are flawed if you think you can catch us off guard you are wrong." Kronos unsheathed his sword slowly his hand shook over the hilt as he turned to the girl. Karma sighed and forced his blade to appear at his side. "Kronos you dont have to fight Everyone you meet this isn't the days of our time where everything was solved by fighting." Kronos turned his hood falling off his womanish face his Pink long hair falling over robe. "Shut Up Karma or I will hurt you." Karma held his blade out to his side with a sigh.

She landed on her feet in a deep crouch and jumped away from Kronos a bit before reaching behind her back and drawing a silver dagger from a sheath at the small of her back. She crouched low again and shifted so that she could watch both brothers at the same time. "You really wanna do this? I don't have any beef with you, how's about we go our merry way?" She said simply, no fear in her voice, just the flat tone of someone who was already bored.

"Brother kill her she isn't worth enough to be on this plain of existance." Karma sighed making his blade disappear. "If you wish to kill someone Kronos you can kill her yourself I have no reason to. Just because you hate women fighters doesnt mean they diserve to die." Kronos sliced his blade at Karma a look of complete rage in his eyes. "You defy me? Millenia of my absence and you've grown to defy me?" It didn't seem like they were now attentive to the new presence. It seemed a scuffle now broke out between the two brothers. Karma Growled pointing his hand to the girl to run the other way.

Ravyn took the oppertunity that the fight between the brothers provided to sneak around so that she was behind Kronos. She'd had every intention of sneaking off into the cover of the forest before she saw Karma waving at her to run. She raised her eyebrows and shook her head. She came up behind Kronos as quickly as she possibly could and arched her dagger downward towards Kronos's back.

Karma smiled as did Kronos the tow suddenly stopped bickering and focused again. "Stupid move." Karma suddenly moved to Kronos' side his large blade attached to his arm again. Kronos also smiled his blade sliding down his back as if to parry the blow itself. The brothers were now focused on this new problem. Has she not tryed this she they would have backed off but now she was a threat.

She jumped back again, sliding again into a low defensive crouch a few feet away from the brothers. "You two look important... wonder how much I'll get paid for your heads." She said cockily, one corner of her berry-stained lips quirking upwards in a mocking smile, though her eyes betrayed her additude.What have I gotten myself into this time, she thought, but showed no signs of backing down. "Show me what you got boys."
