Name: Kaneda Sakashi
Appearence: All-black ninja uniform with Roaring Tides Village symbol on both palms and back. Short at about 5'6" with a bald head. In combat, his head and entire face except his eyes are covered. His face is highlighted by his light green eyes, very rare for a Japanese person, his eyes can be kind under normal circumstances but fierce and concentrated in battle.
Specialty: Ninja Sword and Grappling Hook
Personality: Sakashi is a good leader, through his speeches he motivates his village and gets them ready for battle. He also has good judgement in talent for placing personnel into groups/teams. He is kind to his comrades but harsh on them for making mistakes, he has the trust and respect of his village, and commands them well in battle. His ambush plans on villages are almost ingenious, all of his planned attacks have been more of a success then not, and all victories.

History: Sakashi's father is the legendary samurai Sashimoto Sakashi, Kaneda Sakashi was forced into the samurai way as a young boy, but never really had interest or dedication to it. Because of this, his father felt disgraced with him and often ignored him and showed more compassion to his brother, Taro Sakashi, one of the most powerful samurai's in the war. Taro Sakashi is the leader of the Sashimoto Samurai and has great skill with his sword. Sakashi ran away at age 11 and became sort of an adopted only son to Kitsubon Takora, leader and commander of 'The Roaring Tides Village' and one of the most skilled Ninja's Japan has ever known. At age 19, during a Ninja vs. Ninja War between Roaring Tides and a now disbanded Ninja Camp known as 'The Red Star' Takora was killed in his sleep, leaving Sakashi the leader of Roaring Tides. He led them to win the battle and war. Five years later, the Ninja-Samurai war started and all Ninja and Samurai camps joined eachother, leading to a major bloody war. After two years of fighting, a Ninja council was formed to make decisions for the war. Now, after 11 years of blood, death, and fighting, Sakashi announced his plans for a Final Campaign to the Ninja Council. His plans may just mean the end of the war, and a victory meaning the carrying on of the Ninja way.

Name: Nie Makaru
Appearence: Her long raven hair is held up with two long wooden pins, a few whisps falling into her pale face. Her eyes are dark as well, seemingly able to peirce into ones soul. Though that is not true, many wish to believe it for they always felt a dark aura when near her. Nie stands at an average 5'6" and weighs only a hundred pounds. A strange marking sits just below her left eye colored a dark blue. A black glove covers her right hand but leaves the middle finger shown. Her clothing just covers the essentials to say the least. Her shirt is skin tight and ends just below her breasts attaches to her shoulder armor of sorts. Her bottom half is concealed by an extremely short pair of shorts which inturn shows off her well built figure. Her boots are made of a fine black leather and lined in straps and buckles. Her throwing knives are strapped to her thighs making it easy to draw them quickly. Her sword is held at her waist by a long, dark blue ribbion.
Specialty: Ninja sword, throwing knives.
Personality: She rests on the more snobbish, controlling attitude. It is either her way or the high-way. She doesn't take no for an answer and is a very stubborn person. She can be caring in dire situations but otherwise is very sarcastic. She is not a loner by any means but doesn't make friends well due to her superior attitude, which at times makes her hard to get along with. The only time she will fold and cooperate is during battle but when battle ends she is back to her old self.

History: Her father was a ninja and sense he had only a newborn son, he had turned to his oldest daughter Nie. Nie had two other sibings, the newly born and and her three years younger sister, Kaitsai. The brother had died shortly after birth for it had taken sick. Her mother was a wreck after this and refused to talk to anyone or do anything, refusing to acknowlodge she still had two other daughters that needed her care. Nie was forced to care for her sisters and for the house when her father was away on missions.

Her mother had also passed away not long after for she would never eat. Nie's father was gone again and she had to be strong. She didn't cry once though her younger sister did. She made arrangments, had her mother carried out and cremated because they could not afford a coffin nor a proper burial. Once her father came home it was as if he already knew. He stepped away from being a ninja to care for his only two daughters.

It was difficult for them all, her father constantly complaining about not having a son to withhold the family honor. Nie only tried harder but quickly felt discouraged when her father did not acknowlodge her efforts.

One day, when returning home from an errand Nie heard screams. She dropped the food she was carrying and mad a mad dash for home. Upon arriving she saw it up in smoke. She rushed forward, towards the house. Another villager had pulled her back but she broke away and ran into the smoldering home. She yelled out for them, for her father and her sister but no one answered her pleas. She grabbed her fathers prized swords, knowing he would want her to. She was then forced to flea her only home when a peice of the roof came crashing before her.

The house shortly turned to ask and her father's body was found not long after. But though they continued to search her sister's body was not. Not a single trace of her wereabouts could be found. It found hope to Nie's heart upon learning this but not far off was fear of what had happened to her sister. She was determined to find out. She followed in her father's footsteps and learned the ways of the ninja, to uphold the family honer and make her father proud. But she was also there in a seemingly futile attempt to find her last relative...Kaitsai...

Name: Kitsu Rikimaru
Appearance: 5'10 175 lbs., wiry strength, equally through the legs and arms. Tall compared to most ninjas and samurai. His long arms and legs give him a slight edge when in hand-to-hand combat. He has very short, black hair; near-shaven. When not attacking, wears a flowing, loose crimson gi with a black belt. When on the attack he wears a midnight black ninja uniform, with tiny slits for his dark, calm eyes. On his biceps and calves are tattoo symbols of the Roaring Tides, which he received because he wished to be like his idol Sakashi.
Specialty: Ninja stars (shurikens), Ninja sword
Personality: Amiable towards all, even those who don't initially seem interested in a friendship. One of his main goals is to be close with everyone on his team. Strives for perfection, and thrives when in competition with others. At times seems slightly pompous, but still always pushes those he works with to their best. Will either lead a group of ninjas or follow another capable leader, and is very flexible if the battle plan breaks down. Prefers working in a team over solo assassination missions because he always has a solid feel for what each team member prefers to do. This allows him to set up kills for them as well as know when they wish him to do a given task. His main downside in battle is that he will, at times, hold a grudge on one enemy and disregard the rest of the battle. His tunnel vision is only manifested when a significantly close friend is killed though, so it does not pose a problem.

History: Born into a Samurai Camp, fled with his then and still best friend Kaneda Sakashi at age 9. His father was never well-respected or a successful samurai because of his addiction to alcohol. He beat his son and his wife, and when Rikimaru heard Sakashi was leaving he fled as well. He and Sakashi came to the Roaring Tides village and quickly found a home there. While Rikimaru never received quite the attention Sakashi did, especially with Kitsubon Takora, he still excelled in the ways of Ninjas, especially the ninja sword and stars. His fast feet also made him formidable in one-on-one combat because he could dodge attacks like few other Ninjas. He and Sakashi sparred often, even though Rikimaru was most often defeated. After the Ninja vs. Ninja War against "The Red Star" and leader Kitsubon Takora's death, Rikimaru became #2 to Sakashi and the two won countless battles together. Riki learned most of what he knows from Sakashi, so he is eternally in his debt. Though his skills could warrant being the Commander of another village, he does not wish to ever advance beyond where he is.
