 This is just some dragon I made this week, I colored it with colored pencils. Im thinking of adding a back ground. Tell me what you think!

Wow, color pencil? It looks really good, although I don't think it needs a backround. Next time, I'd probably give it a glare on it's body because dragons normally have shiny skin (scales and what not). It looks fantastic though. I can't draw dragons that well ^^

I agree with Silver Mercury; your design is cool, it's just that dragons have scales and you need some shine added to give it the effect. Right now it just looks like a design on clothing or a tattoo....

Personally I like the solid black color: it's unique. The blue and purple is blended and shaded nicely. This is a very nice piece of art.

it looks like there's a flmae or something on it's tail. a nice piece of detail that, if not overused, is making flame reflecions and lighting on the surface it's shining on. with glare from scales, etc., you could add some real kewl detail.

I don't think it needs shine at all. I think the flat color does well for it, giving it a iconic or tattoo like feel.
