((Only people allowed to post is Aylana, Nyoka, and Devi. The first part of this will be Aylana and Devi. The next half will be Aylana and Nyoka.))
Aylana sat in her lounge chair once more, she was polishing her staff deep in thought. So much was running through her head, her family, her friends. Everything she was missing. With a sigh she stood and walks out to her balcony. She glanced up at the moon and arched a brow.
"Is the moon glowing almost a light blue tonight or is it just me?" she shook her head and picked up the mirror onces again. She was curious about something. With a wave of her wand she peeked into the other realm. She shook her head "Why am I look at the forest?"
She looked closer then called out "Devi? Are you there?" she was hoping he was around.

Devi was running along the beach, kicking up sand and spray, trying to loose himself in the exertion.
As much fun as he had with Omi and Lucien and the others he still missed Ayla. The feathers she'd given him were tied to the end of a small braid behind his ear.
Then his ears perked up. Strange feelings and loss forgotten he slowed to a stop and looked out over the surf. "Ayla?" He was almost afraid to hope.

Aylana smiles "Devi I'm here....." she thinks for a moment. How is he going to be able to see me? She shook her head. "Devi can you see me at all? I'm using the mirror I have, so I don't know if your able to see me...." she frowns and shakes her head fogeting that the necklace on her neck. It caught the light from the moon in her mirror causing a burst of light on the surface of any water Devi was close to.

"Ayla? Where are you?" He looked around before getting dazzled by a light from the sea itself.
Blinking his eyes clear he walked closed to the edge, looking out over the surface. "Ayla?"
One pointed ear was cocked forward under hiw hair as his tail flicked from side to side. His hand rubbed idly at his scar which was pulsing softly in the moonlight.

Aylana smiles and waves to her little brother "Hey Devi how are you little brother. I thought I would get into contact with you. How is everyone. I saw you were having fun with Kia little daugther." she glances back at the moon again still watching the moon before looking back at Devi

"Everyone's ok. At least from what I know. Omi's fun. She likes riding around for runs and jumps." He was still getting used to talking to Ayla through the surface of the water, trying not to cry. She looked happy, why should he spoil that.
His side twinged a bit but he hid any change it might have had in his expression.

Aylana nods pulling her braided a=hair to the side revealing the small braid he threw at her "That good to hear, I'm glad there are kids around you can play with. You won't be as lonely which is also good."
She paused for a second to accecpt a drink from a farie then looks back at the mirror as she took a sip of her tea "Oh I wish you were here you would love this place Devi...Its so beautiful and so free..."

His eyes clouded a bit as he blinked back tears. He pulled his own braid from behind his ear, showing her the two feathers she gave him attached to the end. "I wish I could visit." It really did look like she was in a beautiful place. And the feilds behind her looked so inviting."
He tried to keep the sadness from his voice, but some still crept back in. "I miss you, Ayla." One small tear escaped and ran down his cheek, voice cracking a bit. He really did miss his sister.
He continued to ignore the twinges he was feeling in his limbs. Just hold out a bit longer. Ayla didn't need to see that.

Aylana frowns and sighs "Please don't cry little brother. I'm not there to hold you..You promise you would be strong for me..." she felt so guilty, if she could she would have taken him with her. But she knew Drac would kill her. "Everything gonna be alright, I promise Devi...."

"Sorry. You're right." He got his voice under control and held the tears back. He gave her a warm smile.
And then doubled over, clutching his stomach. His body started to shake, a cold sweat covering him. It was getting harder for him to breathe and a burning pain started to seep through his body.

Aylana gasped and tapped the mirror "Devi!!! Devi are you alright?!?!?!?!" she glanced around and frown moving the mirror trying to see him "Devi!!!!"

He kept shaking on the spot, clutching his side with one hand as the other kept him from falling face first in the sand. He managed a slightly disgusted look at himself, croaking out a few words. "Sorry Ayla."
His bones started to pop and shift, form twisting and changing as the burning pain grew worse. He opened his mouth to scream but only a muffled sound came out before disappearing all together.
Finally falling on his side drenched in cold sweat he tried to catch his breath. He was human.

Aylana shook her head, this was what she didn't want. She wanted to be there but couldn't be there "Devi!!! Please tell you're okay....please..." she wanted to smash the mirror and return back to the realm just to make sure he was okay. "Devi answer me please..." there was worry in her voice.

Still breathing hard he lifted one arm long enough to sign two words, "No voice".
That had hurt so much. He just needed a minute or two to get himself together. That's all. Just a minute or two and he'd be ok. Or at the very least he'd pretend to be.
He was shivering a bit from the sweat and the pain, breathing in gasps for the time being.

Aylana read it over what he signs then frowns "Oh Devi, you changed into a human again. I wish I was there. I feel so stupid for being here right now with you in so much pain....." she touches the mirror wishing she could take away all the pain from him.
