(Well, figured I'd start the thread, if no one else! blaugh Erm, I'm not sure of your locations, since a) I just joined, b) the location page doesn't have any of your characters on it (or I dunno your character's names, since you profiles aren't up) and c) The messages are offline in the old thread... ;.; So I have no idea what's up. xd
As for moi, I'm in a bar-like inn in Amerkand Middle District trying to each a little money to have a place to stay and food to eat. ^^
PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE ANNOUNCEMENT BEFORE POSTING HERE!!!! THANK YOU! ^^)
Amerkand - Middle District - Inn/Bar 3:00 PM
Sachara hesitated as she sat on a stool at the bar. Many men were looking in her direction, looking more disgusted that wooed. This is a disaster. I should leave while I have the chance! It was, however, too late. The bartender approached her.
"Can I do something for you, miss?" He said. He was old and smelled of liquor. Or, she thought for a moment, it's everyone else who smells of it. It may just be the building...
"Well," Sachara said, hiding her nerves as best she could, "would you, by chance, be hiring any help?"
The man examined her a moment, eyes scanning up and down her entire body. She had a feeling he wasn't focusing so much on her as he was on her form. "You don't seem to be the.... type we look for in our bell hops." He obviously meant more that he let on.
Sachara normally would have let the rejection slide, considering the drunken men here disturbed her slightly, except for the fact he had rejected her for not having a more girlish figure. "Excuse me, sir, but-"
She was cut off: "Not another word. Now, are you here for a drink or to take up space at my counter?"
Unable to take any more of this, Sachara pivoted her back to the counter on the swiveling stool. She drew the staff form her back, knocking over a few glasses and bottles in the process, and nearly hitting the bar tender on the head, pointing it at a large table full of men unaware of the elf. She waved the staff only slightly, magic begining to skulk around the group. Well, this is what he deserves, I suppose. I won't do too much damage, only enough to teach this cheauvanist a lesson!

((Same here, Lissira. I was technically supposed to be with the temple group, but I was hardly involved here. So I guess my character just magically transported here. Hope its alright. And hope I get this time thingie right.))
Amerkand, Middle District, wandering the streets 7:50 PM
Isina sighed, leaning heavily against the side of a building. She had just come from the noble's district, hoping to catch some rich coin from her bardic work from those snobbish rich people. "They do not know talent!" She huffed quietly to herself, though she spoke it light-heartedly. Bragging went against her self-ordained list of morale codes that dictate her actions, though not always necessarily noble.
Now, hoping the middle class could appreciate good music, she swept out a small golden plate at set it at her feet: a place for donations. Isina then slid her flute from the bamboo case at her hip, next to a sheathed sword. Wetting her lips, she placed her flute to her mouth and began a harmonious melody, quiet and soothing, for she knew many people would be heading off to bed, since evening was approaching and the sun was sinking low. The bard had a natural talent for music; when the flute came to her lips, the music seemed to flow from her of its own will. It was always a strange sensation for Isina, though she quickly learned to manipulate this innate skill. Nevertheless, it provided her a good career.
She played for many long minutes, which, when you're playing a song, is quiet a long and tedious time. No one walked by. She got no coin. Sighing, she put her prized silver instrument away. "Should've known," she murmured. "Duh, it's late. No one wants to hear songs late at night. Unless..." She grinned, looking to the building she had been leaning against all this time. It was an inn. Inns got many sleepy guests. Guests liked to see the stylings of bards! Sweeping up her donation plate, she strode boldly into the tavern and inn, purposely swishing her luxurious (though inexpensive) cloak to make sure there was no doubt who and what she was: Bards liked showy entrances.

Amerkand - Middle Dsitrict - Bar/Inn -7:50 PM-
Sachara nervously hurried from the inn, clenching her staff tightly in embarassment and rage. I got a little bit out of hand... she thought to herself, glancing backward. Behind her, the small building had ashes flying from it in small flurries of light. I hope no one catches me! she thought, picking her pace up to escape the scene. Already a flurry of people were gathering with buckets of water to ease the flame. "It is my fault..." she sighed, resigning to her guilt and turning back. She forced herself to looked worried, though in truth, she didn't care. With a wide swing of her staff, a strong gale of wind washed over the building, extinguishing the flame like someones breath on a candle.
Many of the villigers turned and thanked her, but she hardly felt like she had done good. It was, she frowned, my fault in the first place. I hardly did a good deed.
A scream sounded behind her with many shouts as a loud crumbling and crashing commotion erupted behind her. The building toppled in on itself, crushing those still inside.
"Murderer!" a woman shouted at Sachara.
"She started the blaze! And ended it, as well as many lives!" One of the men from inside shouted, pointing a shaking finger at her.
"N-no!" Sachara tried to defend herself, "I didn't mean to! It was all an accident! It got out of hand!"
The group advanced on her as she backed down the street. Oh good going old girl! Look at what you've gotten yourself into. You've killed at least 3 men, most likely more! Innocent blood has stained your hands! "Please! Listen to me!" It was useless. Now that she had killed people, they wanted her blood.
"Kill the wretched elf!" A woman shouted, and others joined. Soon, a chant began as Sachara ran through the streets, followed by the small group.
Now what!?
(That got out of hand. o.o;;; I hadn't meant for a mob scene. xd This is what happens when I RP.... ;_; I get outta hand.)

((Hehe, poor Sachara, getting caught in a mob!))
Amerkand- somewhere in the middle district- wandering 8:15 PM
As Isina was halfway through the door of the inn, screams began to erupt in the distance after a huge, resonating crash. Isina, as curious as a puppy, was almost forced to check out the noise. Slipping out of the door and sticking close to the shadows, she investigated the shouts. They were not of pain, she quickly deciphered, but of anger.
She soon came upon an angry throng of people, screaming threats and curses, chasing someone down the street. Like a snake, the human bard slithered in among the angered villagers, looking for the cause of their ire. It soon became apparent: They were all chasing down an elven girl. Now Isina was at a crossroads.
Her code forbade her to help: "Never risk yourself, shed blood, or kill for the sake of strangers." But, at the same time, her code demanded she help: "If an innocent faces undeserved ire, intervene." Which one? Isina knew helping her would be a risk, but who was the elf they were chasing? Was she an innocent? Unsure, Isina dropped away from the angry mob, taking back to the darkness. The sneaky bard decided to shadow the elf, take a measure of her to decide exactly what to do.

(Darn her goodness. She could burn them all! :OOO)
Amerkand- somewhere in the middle district- Running 8:17 PM
Still running from the mob, as she had been doing for past 25 minutes, she was beginning to tire. If I slow down, I'm dead! What can I do, though? I'm guilty. There's no question!
She glanced behind her to see no change in their angry faces. "they have ot be getting tired, too, though!" She thought aloud. "If I can keep this up, they might leave me alone!" She gently moved the staff, directed at her feet, and made them feel lighter. Though she could no increase her speed due to the pang in her side, at least her legs wouldn't tire as quickly now.

Amerkand - somewhere in the middle district - Being Stalked 8:21 PM
Sachara felt herself being pulled by strong arms. she didn't try to fight it as slight words came ot her ears, though she attempted to break her face free form the hands. However, she was to no avail.
she let herself be controlled by the mysterious stranger, just glad to be out of the way of the mob. Well, she thought, if this person wants to kill me, the mob does, too. If not, I'm better off then.

Amerkand, middle district, alleyway 8:25 PM
As Isina got the elf in the alley without much fighting, she let her go. It wasn't really needed to restrain her if she didn't fight. Facing the elf, Isina put a finger to her lips, signaling her to stay quiet, adding in a quiet, "Shh," for affect. Then, sliding along the wall of the alleyway, the made for the exit, listening closely. She heard the mob shuffling around, muffled complaints rising up as they could no longer see their target. After several terse minutes on Isina's part, she slowly heard the group disband, peeking around the corner every now then to be sure. When Isina had full confidence the group would not be coming back to chase them down, she turned back to the elf.
"The mob that chased you is disbanded, now," she said simply, curiosity etching into her voice, "But I cannot help but wonder why they chased you at all? You seem like a decent enough citizen to me." Isina leaned against the wall of the alley, her face showing more curiosity than any maliciousness. She was, truly, interested to know what had caused such a riot. But, with her hand resting lightly on a sword hilt, it was apparent that this was not the simply interrogation it appeared to be. Isina decided that, if she were wrong about the innocence or guilt of the elf, the mistake would quickly be rectified.

Amerkand - Middle District - In an Alley - 8:28 PM -
Sachara gasped for air as she was released. Minutes later, the mob was gone. She looked up to her savior. As the question was asked, she groaned. She had almost forgotton why they had been chasing her.
"I ventured in to an inn to find a place to work to earn a place to stay and some food." She said, glancing quickly to the street, just in case. "However, since I was not 'built' correctly, I was turned down. I got a little angry and... Well, I decided to get a small bit of revenge upon the men there. However, I let myself get out of control and the whole place caught on fire!" Her voice squeaked in a panic as she spoke her story. "I hadn't meant it to go so far. I meant to light a table with a small flame and what-not.
"Well, some of the men got out with some civilians who helped, but the building crashed down before the fire oculd be stopped and all of the men rescued. A man who had been rescused told them that I had started the fire. Hence the mob.
"Mind you, I did try to put the fire back out! But the wind I created using my magic aided in the toppling. It's not like I meant to kill the men!"
She finally breathed, having not stopped through her entire story. She was telling the truth, but it sounded absurd, and doubted she would be believed.

Amerkand, middle district, alley 8:30 PM
Isina nodded. A spell caster, then? She thought, Interesting. Isina took a moment to consider the elf's words. She must have been telling the truth; who would lie about destroying a building, when that would get them in so much trouble? Besides, it explained the crashes and screams she'd heard right before she found the mob. But what of the elf? Isina began to debate internally over the guilt or innocence.
Finally, with a sigh, Isina came to the conclusion that since she hadn't meant harm and confessed willing and freely to it, that she was innocent. Her had slid off the sword hilt, for now she was glad she had gone and saved the girl. Walking out of the alleyway and into the open street, she turned back to the girl. "You ought to find somewhere to stay. Night is coming soon. And watch out for angry mobs," she adding in as a joke. She began to walk off but, stopped, turned, and added, almost as an afterthought. "What's your name? For future reference." With a grin, the bard was already planning a comedy of the clumsy elf magician who had fired a building-literally- and destroyed trying to help put it out. Thinking it over it wasn't that funny, but she added silently in her head, A good bard can make anything funny.

Amerkand - Middle District - Alley/Street - 8:33 PM -
Sachara smiled at the bard, "My name's Sachara. I ws trying to find a place to stay in the first place," she added, glaring at her. "Or else none of this would have happened in the first place." She stepped out of the alley as well. Dusk was already upon them, and it was beginning to get cold. "What's your name?" she said, sounding almost like a child once more.

Amerkand - Middle District - Alley/Inn - 8:40PM -
Sachara watched the Bard trod off slightly down the street. She hesitated, and thought on what the bard had said. Well, she's right. If Istay outside, I might as well be dead. However... Do I know if I can trust her? Well... She did save me...
Reluctantly, Sachara hooke her staff back on to her back and followed her to the doorway of the inn. "Thank you for saving me, Isina," she said, very politely. "I appreciate it. I would have been dead."
