Why was he exploring the outer parts of the territory again..? Oh, yes, he was seeking answers. As the snowy lion headed up an incline, his orange eyes scanned the surrounding vegetation. Dieing... Rain needed to come soon.
Stopping near some water, Zimwi crouched down, lapping at the water. His ears flicked as he listened to the sounds of the jungle, trying to familiarise himself with the land. As he'd grown, he'd been expanding his exploration area more and more. And now, he was nearing the bare edges of the territory. Sitting down, he surveyed the area he was in, trying to spy any kind of friend or foe.

For once, she wasen't chasing mice, she was swimming. Perhaps the snowy male woulden't have stopped for a drink if he knew Kimaji was holding her breath as well as she could somewhere in the lake. Her silvery coat hid her well underwater, wich probably helped her go unoticed.
At the realization of someone new, the juvenile broke the waters surface with a gasp for air, and a squeal. She waved her paws frantically in the water trying to gain attention from the strager, still without breath to really talk. Her wet bangs clung to her face, hiding her eyes, and the rest of her fur did the same, clinging to her skin as reaction to the water.
she probably looked like a cat that had fallen in a river.

Ears flicking, the white lion looked up, orange eyes scanning the water. Splashing...? And then he spied a younger lion, silvery and white in color, out in the lake. Eyes widening, he gaped. "What are you DOING?!" Bunching his muscles, Zimwi leapt out over the water, splashing into it. Oh, that would leave a bruise!

The cub blinked as she heard a louder splash and the voice of the older male, easing her splashing and paddling slowly, bringing a paw up with effor to not tip over to move wet bangs out of her eyes.
"Kimaji is swimming! "
She said enthusiatically, tail swishing through the water.

Swimming...? As he leveled out and floated, Zimwi eyed the younger lion. Indeed, she wasn't drowning... "Okay... Um... Where are you from? I don't think I've ever seen you before..." He paddled, swimming around her a bit. The water felt rather nice, actually...

"Kimaji is from here, Kimaji's always been here. " She said with a confused blink, paddling to follow his movements and not get him out of sight. "Whassyer name? "

The white lion looked around, thinking of how there wasn't really much to tell that anyone even lived out here. "I see... Do you live alone?" He spun in place, watching the cub swimming. "My name is Zimwi..." He'd just met her, and already... He trusted her. After all, she was about as pale as he was... She was okay in his mind. That and she struck him as completely innoccent.

"No, Kimaji is with daddy. " She said, before peering her head in the water to give a small look around, then peeking back up. "Kimaji is Kimaji! Nice to meet you Zimwilion! " She said with a grin.
No, the monster wasen't here still.

"Nice to meet you, too, Kimaji... Um... Where IS our dad?" The pale lion looked around, starting to feel... Afraid. What if her father didn't like him being around his daughter? Or what if he didn't like strangers in his area?

"Swaii sleeping. Does Zimwilion like swimming? " She asks, changing the subject rather quickly, it was always an easy thing for her to do.. "Kimaji likes to swim alot. " She sais proudly, moving her paws to roll sideways onto her back in the water, but only remaining like that for a split second before needing sinking and needing to roll over again.

"Oh..." He watched her, worried a moment before the cub was floating again. "Yeah, I rather enjoy swimming. It's a great way to cool off in the heat." Orange eyes watched the water as he floated. Steal-gray bangs clung to his face as he looked up, watching Kimaji again.

Crawling out of the water, Zimwi shook himself partially dry. "Well enough, I suppose." He brushed his mane back, lookikng over at the younger lion. "I guess I'm just used to them."

"ooh, Kimaji can't see when her bangs are down. " She grinned meekly, allowing thewater to buoy her, but paddling was still needed to not be submerged.
"Did Zimwi ever go to the waterfall? Its noisy there, but its cool too. "
