This is the downtown area. Here there are some stores, resturants and apartment buildings. Some of the main buildings are the arcade and theater. However, this is the area where there's the most trouble so you may want to be careful.

*a portal opens and smash comes through with mari in hand. he was very excited cause a new movie came out that he has been wanting to see for a long time now. plus he was pretty hungry*
come on mari. the movie is gonna start soon! its gonna rock!

Mari got dragged behind him and her hair was still wet. She was attempting to do something with it before they left, but Matt wouldn't stop pestering her, so all she had was a headband. "What is it we're even seeing, again?" She gave him a small glare. He just pretty much rushed her into this. Not that she really cared much. She enjoyed spending time with him, but still.

Mari didn't keep up much with the new movie releases. She hadn't went to one in a long time, but she just kept being drug along. "No, but I hope it's good. I like funny movies." She smiled and just tried to keep up with him. It seemed her arm was traveling faster than her feet were wanting to take her.

*smiles and looks ahead as they get close to the theater but then hears a scream in the distance. he stops and looks in the direction of the scream. it appeared someone was being attacked in an alleyway*
looks like we'll have to catch a later show. sounds like someone is in trouble
*he lets go and takes off into the alley*

oh right. then i better make this quick then!
*he pulls his sword out that he had straped from his back and dashes into the alley. inside he seen this strange creature attacking a man. he run toward raisies his sword in the air and slashes downward as it cut through. the creature had dissolved into thin air after being cut*
well. that was easy. looks like we got plenty of time now.

"Yea. But what was that thing?" She was panting a bit from trying to catch up. Not to mention pretty curious of what monsters were doing in the city. Most monsters didn't like the city because it was too populus and if anything stayed in the forests around it.

not sure. never seen one like that before. it was all black and had these strange claws. kinda like it was wearing gaunlets.
*all of a sudden the monster regenerated in front of him and jumped at him. with a quick reaction her grabed the monster by the neck then threw it into a wall*
didn't expect that. looks like they dont die easily.

Mari decided they looked like creatures of darkness and assumed light would harm them. Her hands had a white aura around them and she made light energy daggars between her fingers and threw them at the creature.

*the creatures faded away from the daggers but then just reappearded. he kept slashing away at them but to no avail.*
this is no good! there's so many and they dont die! *reaches back and grabs the guy* you need run now!
*he flys up onto the roof of the building after clearing the way so the man can run away*

Mari was still on the ground and her bow appeared in a black mist. She started slashing at them with the blades to get them away from her for a long enough time so she could start firing energy arrows at them.

*he sees that now he is surrounded by the monsters now. they will attack soon and once they do he knows he wont be able to stop it*
~oh come on. there has to be some way that i can beat these things. but what?~
*suddenly his sword starts to glow. he lifts it up and he see it start to transform. his sword has now turned into a sword that is similar to a key*
ok. that was wierd. what the hell is this?
*one monster has attacked at smash. he slashed at the monster and it actually cut through instead of just dissapearing. he grins after seeing it die then turns and attackes the rest wiping them all out*

One of the monsters knocked her bow out of her hands and it dissappeared in a black mist. Out of no where, one jumped at her and sliced her face before she had time to react knocking her glasses off her face. She let out a scream and then put a barrier around her to try to keep them from coming at her. "Damnit!!" She looked aboud trying to see if she could get her glasses in sight, but her bad eyes made that task even more difficult.
