 Ses moved through the sevannah at a slow pace, every few moments he would glance back to make sure that his daughter was following him. One of many daughters, it seemed. Ses was very surprised that Taj had birthed five pups, it was a lot and often hard work. Luckily most of the others were sleeping now. Unluckily? Zaini couldn't fall asleep and had kept bugging him to bring her somewhere neat. Ses didn't mind all that much, though. He was headed toward the watering hole, which he'd forgotten was also near to where Usu lived. His white tail flicked and he yawned slightly. "C'mon, don't fall behind." He said, somewhat sternly. He didn't want Zaini running off again so he would have to go on some wild goose chase, it seemed she did it often.
The small pup giggled lightly and ran to catch up since her father was calling her. She ran right under his legs and in front of him, hopping about in a playful manner. "Papa, papa!" She grinned, nipping at his paws. "Where are we going? Hmm? Will we see rhinos! I want to see a rhino, momma said you'd show me a rhino one day!" With out waiting for any answers or confirmations she hummed and turned, heading forward again, Ses just shook his head and sighed.

 This morning was just like all the others. Strange, blurred dreams, voices that skip over the names, and the waking to a burning birthmark.
Since he left his pack, everything's been a rollercoaster. Taj and Ses and their expected pups. The rainbow pelted Sikki. God servant, Saa and the strange Zing.
What is going on....ever since his birthmark started hurt, things started to come into prospective. However, other things start to cloud his mind. The watering hole was a place he usually came to think and just well...relax. Also, this was the first place he met them.

Ses shifted a little and took a deep breath, following after his daughter. First she was trying to lag behind and now it looked like she was trying to get ahead far enough to go off on her own anyways! Ses picked up his pace a little, ears perked. It was a relatively windless day, so he wasn't able to smell Usu ahead of them. Suddenly the watering hole come into view, though. "Slow down Zaini." He cautioned, gaze flicking over the waters.
Zaini's eyes lit up when she spotted the water. "Ohhh play time!" She cooed out, and instead of slowing down she started to speed her small paws up, ready to run right in with out looking for signs of danger or anything.
"Oh no you don't!" Ses grumbled under his breath as he lunged forward, scooping his daughter up with his jaws, holding her by the rough of her neck. "Whathikyerdoin?" He growled out around her fur, not able to make himself clear. While he held her he took another look around, eyes landing on Usu finally.

Usu's eyes were half closed as he lost himself into the movements of the water before him. The pull and flow of the water, back and forth, the ripples that move by just seemed to take him away and all his problem by putting him into a slight sleeping mood.
Suddenly his mark hit him with a sharp pain, "Gah!"
"Daddy!" a voice of a young female. What species, unknown, who it was, the same. The only thing he saw was a blurred image of something small and somewhat colorful.
Usu opened his eyes back to the tranquil water of the watering hole. His sense escaped him. "Damn....again?" he whispered.
He sighed unaware of the approaching entities.

Zaini wrinkled her nose. "Papa I was going to look, I swear! You didn't give me a chance to!" She tried to tilt her head up a little so she could see him, but it was no good. She wiggled a little, wanting to get down and play in the water. Her tail curled slightly toward her stomach and she began to look around, her eyes also landing on the figure. He looked like her papa and mama, only much more plain. "Who's that?" She breathed out.
Ses slowly set his daughter down and huffed. "Just another adult." Slowly a grin formed on Ses' maw. "His name is Widget, let's go say hi." He chuckled to himself and nudged her forward, moving around the watering hole himself.
"Widget! Widget!" She called out, giggling. She didn't know that was his real name, or that Ses was just finding more ways to annoy Usu. They were getting close to Usu now.

Usu's sapphiric eyes laid steadily in the water. Ubes and flow, lost to the motions of the water. All noises, smells, feeling, and sight seemed disappear from him. He was lost in the water.
What did that mean? Who...was that...? he thought to himself. She didn't sound scared, more happy than scared. But who was it and what was she doing?
A ripple of water pushed up against water's edge. He's been laying there for some time now and the waves that splashed up on the water's edge caused his muzzle to get wet. Usu didn't notice.

(>_>;; damn usu is deaf.) Zaini slowed down, then stopped, just staring at him. She looked back at her father. "Papa I don't think that's his name, he's not answering.." She said, a little hurt. She decided that when others did not answer you it was a bad thing, something that she didn't like one bit. "Are you sure that is what he's called?"
Ses snorted "Course I am." He muttered, leaning down and running his large, pink tongue over her face in a playful manner. "C'mon this is how we'll get his attention.." He smirked and began to creep the last ten feet, and when he was close enough he suddenly sprung, aiming to tackle Usu.
Ses must have been in a very off mood, willing to volentarily make contact with the other male.

The last thing the wolf knew was the water's edge moving away from him and something hard hitting against him.
"Oomph!" he grunted as he laid on the ground. He jumped to his feet with a growl eminating from his chest. "What the he---" he broke off as his eyes fell down to a very familiar male that he knew well and next to him a littler one.
"Ses, what are you doing here?" he asked, relaxing his tense form. "And who's this?" the little pup reminded him of Taj, and a little of Ses. She met be one of their pups.
"...ow.''

Ses smirked a little, laying on his back a moment before sitting himself up. "Doin' here? Whatever I please, that's what I'm doing here." He said slowly, smirking. "And this is Zaini." His tail curled about his paws and a hint of pride entered his voice and gaze as he glanced to his daughter.
Zai giggled slightly, moving shyly beside her father as she peered up to 'widget'. "It's nice to meet yeh, misa widget." Her small tail wagged back and forth in a hyper beat.

Usu cocked a brow, what did she call him? Great, a mini Ses....The younger wolf beamed a glare at Ses. He may be a father, but his friend hasn't changed much since these pups.
"Hello there, Zaini." he smiled down at the little pup. His tail swung side to side ,this pup held a little of Taj in her so he wouldn't want her mad at him if he ever done anything to make this little one cry.
"So how have you been, Sesere? It seems that Taj had the pups, how many?"

Zaini just giggled and nipped at his paws in a playful manner before running a little ways off, to play with bugs and such.
Ses snorted and sat himself down. "Oy, oy.. she had five of them. You think she'd stop at three, max.. but no, she birthed five little devils." He didn't seem unpleased though, Ses was very happy with his family.

"Nice work, Sesere." he said, eyeing the little pup as she wandered off. "You know, I'd expect as much from you two. How is she handling it?" he asked. Zaini was a strange pup. But where did he see a pup play with bugs before....he sure he heard of one before. He shrugged and returned his gaze at Sesere.
"You have a nice daughter, but should you really be telling her my name is "Widget?" " he questioned. Sure he can see why Ses would make fun at thim, but a pup? That's just embarrassing.

He raised his brows lightly. He expacted it, what was that supposed to mean? "Aye doin' fine. More than she expected, I think... but she loves the little suckers." Oh what fatherly words! But Ses couldn't fool anyone if they knew the real him, he did love his family and was very excited that there were five pups.
"Course I should be. You'll always be widget to me, so why not my family?" He gave the other a cheeky grin.
"Lookit what I found! Lookit, Lookit!" Zaini's voice was heard before she was visable, slightly trotting toward the two males while batting at... something. When she got to them the something revealed itself to be a dead, dried up frog. A dusty one, too.
Zaini grinned up at the two. "What is it?"

"Zaini, get that out of your mouth!" Usu shouted, "That's not something you should eat." the male's ears went back, "Sorry, not my pup to care for. Been around Potevu and Kibu too much I guess." he picked up the lifeless frog and gave it back to Zaini.
His attention returned to Sesere, "Well, sure, but so soon? Come on, you can think of a better name than that for me." he teased, it's Ses, always poking fun at him for whatever the reason. "Well, at least your family is doing alright. Tajwar is okay, and you are happy. So all is in order." Usu smiled, masking his jealousy. He never knew what it was like to have a family, he only knew how to care for others.

Ses almost snapped at Usu for trying to order his kid around. "Damn right she isn't yours." He muttered before turning to Zaini, eying the frog. "It's a frog, sweetie. They live by watering holes and hop." He made a hopping motion with his hand. He looked back to Usu. "I'm sure it's fine for her to eat that. It's not like you haven't ever eaten anything worse. Besides, she's a pup. Doesn't like it? She'll spit it out." His tail curled about his paws.
Zaini flinched back at Usu's yelling, but after a moment her tail was wagging again. "Frog!" She mouthed the word, and then spoke it out loud, giving a little hop. She began to bat at it again, then moved away, leaving the frog there.
