Not exactly a fan of this new layout. To be perfectly honest I even find it repulsive, but thanks to adblock at least I were able to get rid of most of the annoying images pasted all over most pages.
But... Why'd it cause problems? Seems to work for most people, so there's got to be a way for you to get by too. Tried using different browsers or anything? I'm not really an expert in the field, but there's got to be a way to make the thing work for you.
I'd suggest that you ask for help at the Questions and Assistance forum. With any luck, you might get some advice there.
