Ok first I live in Australia. A country that has treated it's releases of Nippon Ichi games poorly. For Example Disgaea was discontinued after a month. Sadly I did not get a copy. I did however get Phantom Brave when it was released. Well this week La Pucelle: Tactics was released and I got it today. Only played it a couple of hours but I'm loving it just like Phantom Brave.

Ack sorry to hear that. Maybe they'll open up more. I remember when RPGs weren't so popular in the states and it was always hard to find the uncommon games at big name stores, and even some specialized stores. Sometimes I think I should just be ordering them instead of looking for one at a store
For La Pucelle I remember that once the story started rolling, I had tendencies to forget to level. I saved myself by just out of the blue catching hypnotizing monsters and my main tactic became - Put to sleep, and beat them while they're down. I think the next time I play, I'll play more of the game- I totally skipped fusions and magic spells and still somehow managed through @_@

I'm already forgetting to lvl and only up to chapter four. I don't have many hypnotizing monsters though. I also focus learning magic on Culotte and a few choice monsters. i.e fireballs.

I don't really like using monsters. I use mainly the charecters the game gives you (een the incredebly week whats her name fairy.)

sadly I didnt really like La Pucelle that much never the less i beat it but the most probable reasoning behind the fact that i didnt like it is probably that my expectations were too high because Disgaea was such a great game and in La Pucelle you couldnt create characters only capture by purification and none of them were renameable or humanoid domokun

Hell, some people simply solo Prier through the game...

And, yes, Disgaea spoiled me in that regard. Not to mention that the unlockable Prier in Disgaea is an uber tank! eek
