Event, blue/pink box. What are these??? Also, what's this about refreshing the page after doing a poll to go back to the thread??? I think I must be missing something here.
After you make a post (or a reply to a post) or vote in a poll, you're taken to a temporary page that either lets you click to go back to the thread (or forum), or you can wait like 5 seconds and it will automatically take you back to the thread without you doing anything. I think there's the same thing after you send a PM, and you can click to go back to your Inbox, or wait a few seconds and it automatically does it for you, and I think there are similar things elsewhere.
The events are kind of like random events on Neo, and when you get one (it's the last thing to load on the page) you'll have a little talk bubble by your avatar with a
eek inside it, and it says Look around! You may see an enchanted trunk, pink gift box, or blue gift box floating down your screen that you can click on (clicking it will take you to the main front page of Gaia, and then you can check your inventory by clicking your avatar) or you'll get a pink link which gives you 1k. I've never actually SEEN a pink link, but when you get an event, you can check the very, very bottom of that page for a small link that says "If you cannot see your event, click here."
