You'd be amazed as to how well some users get past the race-job issues. I've seen some very good WHM Galkas and PLD Tarutarus.

everyone on the game is so nice, white mages come by and heal me and cast protect on me for no reason and everytime I'm about to die someone saves me ._. on any other game that I played people were very rude to noobies

Savour the taste while you can. You'll eventually meet the users who think they're the best players on the game.
I had one user, most recently, call me a n00b because I was in Kazham with a 30MNK/14WAR, claiming that if I'm going to sub something properly, I shouldn't be gimping my jobs. His arrogance didn't let him accept the fact that I went from 24MNK/12WAR to 30MNK without traveling back to work on my WAR because I was going through parties one after another.
Don't let those users get to you, though. They've got their heads so far up their digital a** that they forget that this is a game focused on communities. Best thing to do is get with a very good Linkshell and just mention to them when you have a party -- if your LS is good, they'll be sure to let the "bad" users know that they're ruining the fun of the game for the new people.

Yeah those kind of people exist on a lot of games...they're so mean and they think they know everything D: I found this nice tarutaru guy though and after an hour of only making 100g he explained to me that i could just sell silk thread at the auction house for 2k sweatdrop I'm not sure what I'm going to have as my sub job yet, I'm leveling up pretty fast though so I'll be able to have one soon smile

I've been playing for nearly 2 years, and I frequently stop playing for a a month or more at a time...
