I've stated it several times... But it's really grinding down on me...
I'm really hating how Nintendo the VGD is getting... It seems like I can't post anything pro-Sony without people going all out on me.
I'm down to my last leg on Gaia... I'm just tired of it.
If I disappear suddenly, you all will know why.

True that
I hate how you can have a 5+ page thread about mircosoft or nintendo but everytime i see a sony thread thats 3 pages long, its either flaming or its just a bullshit thread with no real disscussion
same goes for PC gaming

I feel ya. It's difficult to post anything positive about Sony without getting jumped on, or to consider the Wii anything other than God's gift to gaming. Though, that's not the reason for my recent lack of activity, it's helped.
I miss just enjoying games. Can't seem to do that anymore, now you have to enjoy games and have a page and a half essay ready on why you think a specific console will sell better than the rest.
I don't want to argue with some forum kiddie on why the PS3 is going to sell more than 1 console and isn't the anti-christ of gaming. I want to destroy the self-confidence of obnoxious 7 year olds playing Day of Defeat, and then discuss how awesome John Woo's Stranglehold looks while getting shot in the head.

I am with Shaun on this one (and not just because my name ironically is Sean)
it is redicolous the sheer amount of hate people are throwing out there
and if you bring up them helping to pioneer Chip architecture (cell), motion detection (their new project that will supposedly be ready by launch), them havign an existign patent for a gyro (since 1999 no less), or anythign of a similar nature
and they flame you calling you a fanboy...... the irony of fanwanks claiming peopel are fanboys for stating facts gets irritating after the first dozen times or so

No offense, but anti-Sony fans are infinitely more resilient than anti-Nintendo fans. and seemingly far more ingorant as well as illustrated by comments like "they stole _________" or "Microsoft could just buy them out" yeah because being the second largest electronics manufacterer on the planet in no way suggests you help design or pioneer new technologies and being the second largest electronics company globally and the single largest media company globaly means that a software giant is bigger
