Chaos Seed is the soon to be introduced enemy to Department 5. Chaos Seed's sponsors have found out that some faction within the Senate has done some really nasty things, but has covered it up too well for them to expose directly, so they created Chaos Seed to gradually unravel their political shield. Chaos Seed sows disasters to achieve this utilizing media manipulation, hacking, hired actors, and good old explosives. They initially do not know about Department 5, but soon realize that some really elite special ops force is targeting them. Join Chaos Seed today. Help fight the injustice.

"Mrs. Yamato. Right this way please." The man was as much a suit as humanly possible. Nondescript features, faded mousy brown hair, de-rigeur shades, immaculate professional black jacket and slacks with just a hint of gloss. His movements were precise as he directed the older woman towards the building.
"Thinktank." She mused aloud. It was quite the organization. Of course, it was just a puppet, just like the man escorting her, but that did not diminish its inherit worth. "Quite the facility, Mr..." she trailed off intentionally to illustrate his ill manner.
"Ah. Forgive my rudeness... you may call me Leon."
"Leon then." They crossed the door's threshold, and the quiet din of the busy foundation workers reached their ears. The floor was a blue marble - rare and a costly indulgence - which reflected scores of pinpoints of light from the many chandeliers dotting the ceiling. "It's nice to see you don't work in the dark."
"Yes, Mrs. Yamato. The chandeliers are done in the Maria Theresa style. They are all silver, and trimmed in swarovski crystal. We believe that..." She held up a hand, stopping him from going further.
"Tell me what goes on here."
"Yes, Mrs. Yamato. The funds are used to generate organizations which we feel will benefit society. Our top level teams for which we are named carefully research all avenues of the global community, then design the purpose and operation of these organizations. We structure the staff, the financial architecture, establish the necessary connections, and other such details. The goal is to produce an entirely autonomous organization."
"Autonomous...but don't you maintain strings to this organization?"
"No, Mrs. Yamato. Our business is the creation of organizations. Once we have created them, those organizations are independent."
Their tour through the facilities paused at an office door marked "S. Leonhart - Public Relations" He opened the door, and gestured inside. As she had expected: everything was corporate regulation inside. He stepped behind his desk, and sat down while gesturing at the seat opposite him. "Please have a seat Mrs. Yamato." He waited til she had done so before continuing. "As might be expected, there are some organizations which have deviated from their original design concept. I am sorry to say that Yamato Shipping's incident was one such."
Mrs. Yamato frowned slightly. "So you are saying my company was the victim of a defective product?"
"Hmm. No, Mrs. Yamato. The nature of creating businesses, foundations, corporations, and other organizations is that there are certain unpredictable factors. While our human resources department ensures the top level management is mentally stable and able to adhere to our guidelines, we cannot control the situations that develop once they become an independent organization."
She pressed onward. "And Chaos Seed?"
"The progressive biotech company was our creation, yes. The terrorist group which destroyed your shipping lane was not. We believe the company we founded was hijacked. We are now taking steps to ensure that future organizations created by Thinktank are better defended against such a possibility."

Solid-state braincase: Each team member's brain has been treated with a polymer neuroglia replacement, which renders the brain much more resilient against blunt trauma.
Advanced cybernetics: The unit has access to the same level of cyberbrain technology as some military organizations - even rivaling D5 in some areas.
Integrated weapon technology: Each bear's abdomen houses a sodium-ion, laser-focused plasma field generator, capable of a single ten-second burst with a full efficacy range of approximately ten meters and a maximum range of seventeen meters. Within full efficacy range, it's capable of boring through six inches of reactive armor.
Ghost alignment: To ensure perfect unit organization, the brains are all interconnected over the unit's communications network. When in action, the bears are actually sharing their consciousnesses over the entire working unit, making reaction times instantaneous and radio communication extraneous. It's friendship to the next level.

Personality: Lenul is a very focused individual who harps on her idealistic expectations and hopes. Current Status: Age 16. Runner. Romantically involved.
