Er, sorry. I also don't understand why Mr. Mime or Sudowoodo need preevolutions, though...

..And if that fighting-steel thing's a legendary, then DAMMIT. How the phuque are you supposed to beat that?

Anyway, I guess I'd forgotten the cute-factor. It never occured to me a rock-type COULD be cute, if it tried.

I don't think there have been any cute rock-types otherwise. I've honestly always liked Sudowoodo anyway, even if I still haven't figured out quite how to use it.

Pearl's gonna have to have some pretty awesome Pokemon for me to get it. And none of these goofy Pokemon that Gold and Silver were so generous in providing.
I want more fierce-looking dinosaur Pokes like Rhydon, Nidoking, and Tyranitar.
Or some sinister bug-types.
I think a Poke based on a Hydra or a Kraken would be cool.

Well, that's not ENTIRELY true, Atma--Preevolutions usually offer more moves to a line. Raichus with Charm were all over the place, once Pichus popped up; and Electabuzz with Ice punch is possible because of Elekid.
..But if they're happiness evolved, I get to scream.
