That first statement... not to sure about, but the second one is absolutely true. Comedy Central's signed a deal to bring Futurama back for a new season consisting of 13 episodes, followed by a straight to DVD launch of the season. All of this, with the original voice actors.

WOO HOO!

Oh yes? Did they mention when they're going to be showing them? For I am intrigued.

I'm still a little iffy. I thought Futurama was dragging on a lot as it was. It was great when it first started out, but then they introduced the Fry-Leela romance, and it started going downhill like a round turd on a hot day. It still had some potential, but I really think they need to go back and change some things if they don't want ratings to drop again.

And dammit, someone needs to bring back Over There. That show was pure gold. It pisses me off that Fox can cancel an entire series based purely on their political views and their belief that the general public should be disillusioned as to what's going on in Iraq.

I loved that show. Though yeah, the whole Fry/Leela thing was... meh...

As long as they leave Bender and Zoidberg intact though, I'm happy.

I heard about this back last year actually, I read an IGN review that Futruama was coming back by word of mouth from Billy West.

I've been waiting forever now.
