((This is a private rp that is going to take the place of Sid and Acia's growing quests. Unless you are Moo, D, or myself please donot post. It WILL be deleted.)) Basic Quick Overview (And I know it's cliche, but we didn't want to wait a week for me to think of a better idea. xp )
-The day arrived with a note upon the respective doors, a knock accompanying the dawn visit, though noone would be there when the door was answered. The note however, scrawled in obviously a child's handwriting proclaimed in green crayon, "Pleaze help! I cannot sav her miself" with the small signature reading "Nayati".
Upon arriving at the store one would find the poor velvet pacing in a quite a fit, watching the door like a hawk. Excitment took over worry as he was joined by the appropriate company and quickly explained the story. Iris was sick, badly sick though she wouldn't admit it and needed a special medicine. Only problem? This medicine plant is extinct and can only be found within Nayati's door (that he knows of). Within the door lies a series of tasks and trials through an ancient maze, but many of the puzzles he doesn't have the skills to over come himself. Unlike the other quests this one might be dangerous.. and of course had serious after affects. If they so chose to join and help he'd let them in, however unless they wanted to be trapped.. he'd have to stay at the door. He could help by voice, and sight, but literally nothing else. It would be up to the two owners and their velvets to transverse the maze.
((Feel free to rp getting there, accepting, declining, etc etc. My next post will occur after you two enter the door, and I'll post to tell you the thick description of each room of the maze, so you guys know what you are dealing with. ^ ^ ))

Short room descriptions (In case you guys want to go on and I'm nowhere around. :3 )
1) Candle room. Upon stepping into the door the maze appears more like a tome, though brightly lit and obviously sturdy in structure it gives the musty smell of time and the obvious silence of the lack of life without. Large mystical lights light the entire room, but a path runs down the middle reguardless, framed by decorative candle after candle. All flicker with an unearthly green glow and lead to the door. When blown out one at a time they die, and then sputter back to life. When all are out the ancient doors to the next room creak open, simply to slam shut when the candles flicker back to life.
2) Ice room. Stepping through the door reveals a room that seems almost impossible next to the last, ice crystals covering nearly every inch of the large room, casting a soft sparkle of light about. At the edge of the room the door remains locked. However in the very center of the room in a large block of ice rests a key, taunting from it's hiding place a good foot within the thick ice.
3) Brittle stone room. The third room is made of a thick sturdy marble, a gleamingly beautiful creme colored mix, though the remainder of the room seems barren. The marbling is laid so nicely that it seems almost like one mighty sheet, though the door at the other end looks glaringly out of place. Made of a flakey limestone with a large crack eating it's way up along the doorway.
4) Holey room. A room almost reminciant of swiss cheese. The walls are covered in holes of many different sizes, ranging in size from an inch to 6 inches, some very shallow while others are 3 or more feet deep. Another small key is obviously needed for the locked door at the edge of the room.
5) Barren room. Upon stepping into the last room the door disappears into the white background. Four simple seamless walls, very tall ceilings, and one very large hole in the roof. The only thing within the room is a small growth of a brillantly green herbs and shrubs. This one will take a little thinking. ^ ^; ((If you guys absolutely end up having problems solving something, just bother me and I can have Nayati offer suggestions and such or try to lend a helping hand. ^ ^ Ahh, and if you have a suggestion towards the amount of doors, go ahead and bother me about that too.))

((*Squees* This is going to be fun.... >.> <.<))
It had taken Moo a few hours to find the note, due to the fact that she really had no reason to go outside... But then Acia had run off with one of her gloves, and during the chase they'd happened past the front door. Needless to say, they had immediately ended the chase. Moo had returned the glove to her hand, Acia leapt to her shoulder, and they were both off for the Toychest to meet the distraught unicorn boy.
She was therefore surprised when, upon arrival, they'd found D and Sidney there as well. But once everything had been explained...she was extremely relieved that they would be coming as well. Sure, Acia was talented, and she had a few abilities herself, but it sounded as if they'd need all the help they could get for this... "Of course we'll help, Nayati. Just...don't let that door close 'til we're back."
An adventure!! And to save Iris! This was going to be SOOOO much fun! Especially since D and Sidney would be there, too! After frantically waving a greeting to Sid, she turned her eyes to Nayati, chittering reassuringly to the unicorn boy. He didn't need to worry! They'd be back in no time, and Iris would be A-okay!

(( Bring it on! blaugh ))
Upon finding the note, D quickly assumed the person in trouble was Iris, seeing as it was from Nayati. What sort of trouble could she be in? Nothing life-threatening she hoped but the desperate scrawl indicated it was serious. Collecting Sidney, she headed straight over to the shop....
Finding Nayati there in such a state only comfirmed her worry but he wouldn't explain much until the others arrived. Others? Who else did he need to help? She was quickly answered by the arrival of Moo and Acia and now the unicorn's tale unfolded. Iris was in trouble and she help quick! "It's alright Nayati, we'll help for sure!"
Sidney too, was thrilled to be of service! A real adventure at last! A real damsel in distress! He and Acia could do this, he was sure. Hissing excitedly, he nodded at Nayati to lead the way to the start.

-Nayati happily and almost impatiently led the way. He was beyond thrilled that they'd been kind enough to help, but it was obvious that he was worried as he slowly led them into the back of the story, to the long hallway of doors. Leading over to one, old and wooden with the etching of a unicorn in the center he lightly pushed it open, before replying solemnly.- "I can see everything you guys do, but I'm not certain if I can help in anyway besides making sure you guys don't get trapped inside.. so please be careful."
((At this point I'm going to write room descriptions, feel free to transverse them. I tried to choose things that had a few different solutions, or.. a very obvious one based on Sid and Acia. Feel free to go ahead as far as you want and add as much or little detail as you guys want. ^ ^ ))

(( How many candles exactly are there in the first room? confused Oh and does Nayati tell them how to open the door for each room? Not how exactly but like how all the candles need to be out to open the first door? Or do they have to figure that bit out too? ))
D followed after the unicorn as he led them to his door, opening it to reveal the tomb-like room inside. Stepping in and giving a slight cough at the dust-filled air. Turning back to Nayati a moment to give him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry Nayati, just make sure our escape route doesn't get cut off. wink "
Wandering over to the first candle on the left and gazing down the trail of them to the door at the end. "Ok, what's the deal with the candles?" She held a hand close to the green flame to see if it was hot, like a normal flame, before experimenting and blowing at it. "Oh!" She cried as the candle burst back into life on it's own accord. "Well that's odd... maybe it has something to do with the puzzle? Or maybe it's just so you can't turn off the lights?"
From his vantage point up on D's shoulder, tail wrapped around her neck to hold him steady, Sidney survayed their first room. Yes! A tomb! This was definatly Indy's style. But as he watched D with the candle, he didn't have many ideas. Racking his little serpent brain for a way they might open the huge door. A secret panel perhaps?

((If you'd like, he can give you a quick over view of each room as you step in, and what the key to the next door is, I just didn't want to tie you guys up by me not being here.
And gee.. candle number huh... I'd say atleast 20 on each side about a 3 or so feet away from each other))

((Hmm.... We'll just ask 'im if we need help... *Shrugs* If they can't work it out, you know?))
Meanwhile, Moo had made her way to the other end of the room, and was busy examining the door. Leaning forward, she wiped a layer of dust from its face, eyes searching the knob. "There's no keyhole," she murmured, glancing back at D. "But it's locked."
The candle caught her attention, and she fell silent, watching curiously at D blew it out...and then it reignited. Her eyes thoughtfully scanned the rows of candles, then moved to the bare walls, a faint grin touching her lips. "The light comes back...maybe the instructions for getting through can only be visable in the dark? But they relight, so..." She blinked. Worth a try, right...? Glancing to the glider on her shoulder, she grinned. "Hit the lights?"
Acia caught on almost immediately. She chittered softly, then fell silent, body tensing slightly. Almost immediately a slight breeze picked up, traveling only through the center of the hall. It slowly grew in strength, then suddenly split and whipped out towards the sides, extenguishing each and every flame.

A message did not appear as all the candles went out, yet something even better happened. The door opened! As the wind blew around the lines of candles, keeping them extenguished, D quickly followed Moo and Acia through the now open door.... And promptly went sprawling on the icy floor of the next room.
"Oww..." She hissed, then glanced around at the new surroundings. "ooo... wow.." The incredibly beautiful ice crystals and the sparkle they cast over everything drove her little accident out of her mind. Standing again, more cafefully this time, she headed over to block of ice. "Ah well the location of the key is simple enough. Lets see..." She looked over to Sidney, who had wrapped himself around her arm when she fell, and gave him a wink. "What do you reckon?"
Sidney gave a hiss and nodded. He knew exactly what D had in mind, he'd been thinking the same thing when he saw the ice block and it's captive. Sliding down her arm and onto the top of the ice he moved to place himself over the key. The ice was very cold on his scales but as soon as he began to heat up his body it didn't bother him.
Slowly but surely, the ice around him melted away, getting lower and lower and closer to the key. Until eventually he could feel the metal against him and he hissed to D.
Coming up and picking up her now slightly damp snake, D firmly grabbed the key. "Yes! Another room down!" She unlocked the door and beckoned Moo and Acia through to the next one before following after them herself.

COLD. Moo was not at all a fan of the cold, and thus she stayed out of the room, watching curiously as Sid proceeded to melt the ice.... Great! Well, that was easy enough. Two rooms down...who knew how many to go? Stepping into the ice room, she slid across the floor, arms waving wildly in a mad attempt to stay balanced. It didn't work. She landed heavily on the foor, and propelled herself the rest of the way with her hands...ignoring the chittered laughter of the glider on her shoulder.
She was able to stand one in the marble room, and immediately did so, eyes searching it for some hint to passing through.... Heh, nothing. Apparently Acia was as clueless as she, for the glider was uncharacteristically silent... And a quick glance to Sid and D suggested that they we lost as well.
Turning back the way they had come, Moo took a deep breath, considering how to speak... Nayati had said he would always see and hear them, right? So..if she spoke, he'd hear? "Umm....any idea how to get through, Nayati? It's solid stone..."
((*Hisses at her comp for killing her first, BETTER post*))

((I thought you guys might have a little more problem on this one. ^ ^; Let's see.))
-After a moment's pause the soft voice floated through the air thoughtfully for a moment before replying questioningly.- "Well... the only thing that seems at all... umm.. remar.. er.. different.. about the room is that door. It doesn't look very strong at all. Maybe with the right pressure or right type of blow it'd crack enough to let you through?"

D listens to Nayati's advice, eyeing the large slab that blocked their path. "Hmmm.... the right kind of blow huh?" Putting Sidney on the ground she turned to Moo. "Hey do you reckon if we both hit it at the same time it might give way? Maybe if we aim for it's weak spot along the crack?" She gives a small demostration of slamming her shoulder into the wall, to explain exactly what she meant.
Walking back to the other end of the room so they could have a run up, she glances at Moo. "Ok, on the count of three? One... two... three!" She runs at the limestone slab in synch with the other owner. Turning just before she reaches the door so her shoulder hits against the flakey rock, just next to the crack, at the same time as Moo hits the door on the other side of the crack in a similar fashion.
(( I have no idea if that would work. sweatdrop Nayati did say it didn't look very strong. ))

((Certainly, that can work. ^ ^ When I initially wrote it I imagined Acia whipping up one of her explosive chemical mixes to knock it down, but ramming it would certainly work. Your arms might be a little sore though :3 *offers ice* ))

(( Ah! I had thought of something similar although I guessed some sort of acid might work on limestone. Didn't know if Moo had brought her science kit with her and we didn't know if it'd be considered cheating if we suddenly said she had. wink

DDB (( *gets some ice from the previous room.* )) ((D is the most clever. ^ ^ And nah, for your quests you can use the things that they normally have. If you'd pulled out say.. a jackhammer I might have kindly asked you to come up with another solution. But small stuff like that I don't mind in the least. :3 ))
