The Female Hyena simply wandered around, rather aimlessly. She was bored, lonely, and most of all, hungry. She hadn't had any real food in days... And now, it was really beginning to get to her. Her need and want to kill had grown, making her most likely to kill anything, even a Lion or Lioness, if they and she permitted to.

A juvenile strange colored pup who was born in the wild dog pack had started to go on many adventures by himself latley witch isn't very good at all for a only half grown dog. He knew there was many dangerous things out there in teh world but he awlays tought he could manadge to take care off the things himself..
The male dog wasn't far from his pack but he wanted to experience the area some more so he walked with light steps trough the highgrass i hope to see something fun..

About 100 yards off was the Female Hyena, prowling around in hunger and anger. She was sniffing the ground, tracking down miniature bugs and rodents, doing practically anything to get food at this point. With all the grass being a yellowish color right now, almost anything was visible, unless there was a yellow Lion out on the hunt, which could mean trouble for the Female.
Nonetheless though, the Hyena continued to sniff through the grass, bringing up her head for just a moment. That's when she spotted something. It was small, moving, and very oddly colored.
"Well, well... It looks as if I may have just found myself a meal..."

Demani sniffed some leaves and flowers ok those he haven't smelled before, he loved seeing and smelling new things he knew he wasn't allowed going away at this age his mother was always so worried but he was big so he could take care off himself..
The pup was still naive and had much to learn suddenly he stopped he tought he hearded something? he perked his ears forward and started to listen hmm was there something over ther? he wasn't sure so he ignored it for now..

The Female Hyena began to crouch down in the grass, taking slow and careful step towards the small creature. She wasn't sure what it was yet, but she did know that it accounted as food for her, especially since she was the known Pup Killer.

Demani continued to walk trough the highgrass with his small white and green body that wasn't a normal color for a little wild dog and his mother was all brown so he had probably gotten the green from his father..
Hm but there it was again...he stopped and listend carefully was something comming this way after all? he had some instincts in his body and something was telling him that something was not right..he made a try to speak to what ever it was outside there in the highgrass facing him.
" Is there someone there? "

Silence filled the air as the Hyena stopped in her tracks. She kept low in the yellowish grass, trying her best to hide her gray body, or at least make it look like a rock or something. She had to get this thing.. For her stomach was commanding her too.

Demani didn't get an answer but he could feel something like a lightning had hit his back so he stopped and took another look around. Hm this doesn't feel good at all Demani tought so he made a little jump into a thorny bush and started to scan the area from there with his yellow eyes..
What could this be? someone might wanted to have him for lucnh..

The Female grumbled some, getting a tad bit annoyed with her prey. It was bouncing all around and acting so frisky... Which meant it was probably a youngster of some sort. A tongue ran across her dry mouth.
"Just what I need....."

" Hey you! what you now are i don't like when someone is sneeking around and planning to eat me or something..err... "
He wasn't sure if the thing or animal was really trying to eat him but he didn't want to take any risks at all. He didn't wanna be anyone's lunch or meal and he was to young for that maybe when he was old and was gonna die anyway then they could eat him but not when his life had just started..
He perked his ears in the voice direction...what was that?

As she slowly inched herself forward, the Female Hyena continued to keep her body low to the ground, taking careful movements so as to not let her prey hear her.

Hm this wasn't very good at all he hadn't had much practice in his pack with hiding and getting away from enemies that would have been good right now. Maybe he could trust his colors instead and hide in the grass and so he did he layed down in the grass and slowley sneaked away so the strange animal couldn't hear or see him hopefully..
He probably looked really funny sneaking around in the highgrass but he was actually pretty good for being so young.

Her ears perking up and turning around slightly, the Hyena caught his movements, and she slowly followed. She had figured this was a pup of some sorts, and from the smell of it, it was a canine, not a feline, which was good for her by all means. Smiling some to herself, she slipped through blades of grass, having more experience than this young one at catching wanted prey.

Demani spotted a little hole under and old tree heh that would be his escape that stupid hyena was to big to fit in that deep hole and he saw his chance and runned as quickly as he could into the little hole and crawled as far in as he could and remained silent..
Did she follow him or lost him?

Hearing the quick running of the youngster, the Hyena quickly followed behind, not bothering to keep her cover anymore. However, as soon as the young pup dashed into a hole underneath an old tree, the female had to come to a halting stop, so as to not hurt herself.
"Grrrrrrrr...."
