Character creation is 36 points for attributes. That is, every stat starts at 8, and you spend points to increase them.
Increases from 8 to 9-14 cost one point each, so having a 14 would cost you 6 points total. 15 and 16 cost two each, 17 and 18 cost 3 each. So in effect, stats cost like this; 09 = 1 10 = 2 11 = 3 12 = 4 13 = 5 14 = 6 15 = 8 16 = 10 17 = 13 18 = 16
Everyone starts with two feats at creation, in addition to any class features. The fact that everyone is human is already taken into account with bonus feats and skill points. Make sure characters are reasonable, and hopefully, flawed in more ways than just charisma.
Xp will come from the posts you make, in addition to what you do in character, so be sure to post free-form to reflect what you do in character to make it more dramatic and literary. If you don't, well, you just won't have as cool a character and everyone will make fun of you... And you will have about a third less experience than any of the cool people who post. Hitler doesn't post free-form. You don't want to be like Hitler, do you? Post free-form.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Strengths- Physically resilient and able to endure hardship, both mental and physical.
Weaknesses- Paranoia, lack of a solid education and closed minded.
Personality Description- Murdock is a simple man and is perfectly content living out the rest of his life in his fallout shelter. While the apocalypse would normally trouble most people, Murdock is happier than can be. Not only will he be the one living comfortably with a stock pile of food, but when its safe to go top-side, he will have the only farm left in the world, and he will die content knowing that in the end, he was right. He built the shelter that saved humanity when everyone else called him crazy. Oh, well. Now he can rebuild the world in God's image. After all, he was spared for that very reason.
History- Murdock grew up on his family farm, learned, worked and started a family of his own. He passed all of his classes in high-school, by a thin margin, and never went to college because there was no reason to. He helped his father finish a bomb shelter for when the bombs started falling, and years later, it paid off. Unfortunately, he couldn't convince that many people to join him before it was too late.

Identifying Marks: Any other relevant physical information: Near-sighted, Afflicted with Benign Essential Tremor, for which he takes prescription medicine; once he runs out of pills his hands may shake under stress or if caffeinated.
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Strengths- A strong will and determination, able to rationalize and assume role as a leader if necessary.
Weaknesses- Doesn't cope well with personal failures, and keeps disputes at an arms length-- which in the long run boil over to a result far more serious than any initial problem
Personality Description-
History- Surprisingly raised in rural new-age conditions, his birth name is "Dusk." From an early age he felt unease around his parents and took solace in letters from his grandfather that he found hidden in the attic. A strict catholic man of service, his letters were long winding rants of criticism on his parents and pleas to send "Allen" back to responsible guardians like himself. (years later, no one had the heart to tell Dusk that Allen was a horse that had died years before.) Dusk started sending letters to his grandfather Dean after finding his letters and recieved care packages from Dean to help him grow into a "fine young man." Among one was a pack of brochures to military schools and colleges. After much consideration Dusk decided he couldn't join the military: he generally ignored his parents, but the fight against the military was a fight his parents had well researched-- and somewhere between Napalm in Vietnam and today he decided that the military could be good, but was seated by corrupt men. However, the arguments against Science were far less founded. Every story he had been provided, Dusk took the side of the "labcoats." Where being a hippy, getting drugged up and shot after assaulting a cop is "heroic" enough to be turned into a martyr, scientists must defy God and augment his products superior before being recognized. Dusk decided that being a scientist was his dream job. Five years later, his parents were busted for drugs they had been holding for a friend down the road. Sent to live with Dean, he was given full support to become a Scientist and though his studies had been lax, caught up quick academically in high school; becoming involved in the Debate team, Science Wizards, and technology recycling program. Years went by from college to lab interships until the nuclear fallout. Now cramped in a shelter, Allen grows uneasy. Yearning to see what had become of the world.
