Chat about the Sailor Moon cards here! Doesn't have to be the ccg's released in 2000 or it's sister Past and Future Expansion. It can be Graffitti, Sticker, Prism, Archival, Series I-III, etc! Even Sailor Moon Solitaire cards!

I wouldn't call my sticker ones official. It was a fifty cent machine thing in a small town store (a town my family didn't go through that often).
As for my japanese card, I got it for winning a small contest on a yahoo group I used to be on a long time ago (for Sailor Mercury's birthday, I said what I would want to give her for a present). So I got a Sailor Mercury picture card from the leader of that group.

I've only collected the English Card Game. I just need the foils and a couple more cards for the complete set for the original and a couple of the foils, mostly villains, and a couple rares before I have the complete set for the Past and Future Expansion. Currently, my collection spills from a 3" binder to half of a shoebox. sweatdrop My favorite card designs are the ones for Mercury and Jupiter, as well as the one with Sapphire in front of the dark crystal.

If anything, the sailor moon ccg works on a combination of "rock, paper, scissors" and games that use mana/energy/etc (such as Magic or Pokemon, but not Yugioh). It also allows you to level up some of your scouts or villains, similar to Duel Masters, Pokemon, and some of the level monsters in Yugioh.

cohchotheempress cool!! my favorite card design for the english ccg is card #99 past memories (or...s...something... sweatdrop ). this pic was also in the beginning song for the second half of the first season of sailor moon. i find it... Is it the one with Princess Serenity gazing at Earth with Prince Endimiyon (Probably butchered that name sweatdrop ) That is a pretty card, Memories of the Past, #98. It honestly has been a while since I have last looked at these cards. The other two I like are the Dark Moon Wedge, the one where Rini's pulling at it to destroy it and the one where it shows everyone being sent to Earth to be reborn. Which I need to find again for the name. sweatdrop To Ompa2: Yeah, they came out it 2000/2001. But it didn't gather much popularity. Of course, the original is called "Sailor Moon" and TCCG may be in the title. Which basically covered the original anime as well as parts of the R series. The first and only expansion was Past and Future, which covered parts of the first series and the rest of R. The point of the game is to defeat your opponent's scouts and monsters before they do the same to yours. There were some things where you did have to use Rock, Paper, Scissors, or as the cards said, "Jan, Ken, Pon". Mostly challenges, effects, and to determine who goes first. I tried to play the game a couple of times, but I got lost and nobody was interested in playing it. So I just went to collecting. ^^" Last time I saw them I was in Ohio at a card shop and they were just getting rid of the cards, which were out of print. I was able to get a deck for a dollar and like 20 or more packs for at least 10 or 25 cents each. 3nodding And that in 2003. It may have been less. All I remember was spending $20 at the card shop just to get them and the deck.

I know and feel the same. crying I was looking forward to finishing the series too.
Oh well, even if the other ones are out of print, I wouldn't mind looking into at least checking them out. I love collecting foreign cards, even if I can't understand them. ^^"
