Battle Arenas
Battle Away!
Yes, finally the arenas have been open! Come and fight! Spar, practice, challenge duels, train, or even fight to the death! As some may know, there was a massive cave below the tavern that was used for fighting. That unknown place is now named....
Combat Cave
This is a snug little cave that spans a great deal under Gaia's Haven Manor. With tall, domed ceilings and an endless background, it's indestructible walls make it the perfect place to let all your energy loose. As you enter, there is a control booth to the left. This is no ordinary cave, children! Yes, it has been designed into a warp chamber. Basically you can key in the level of difficulty you desire, from 0 to 1,000,000. Be careful what you choose, it may spell your demise. You can fine tune the controls to participate one-on-one with yourself, to creating a large-scale war. Recreate the Civil War if you please! rofl
The caves magic places you in a real-life situation, to where you can't tell fake from reality
There is also a setting that allows novices to train with dummies, flying orbs, targets, and sand bags.

The Rose Duel Arena

The Rose Duel Arena is quite a cliche, beautiful but deadly. It can be located by following the steps to the tops of a tower and climbing the wide spiral case. be careful, as there are absolutely no rails to hold you from falling until you reach the top. Even then, it's still quite dangerous. This high and mighty Arena is for serious duelers only, no trainers and novices allowed up here. It's too dangerous to play with, and the possiblities of death on this peak are extremely high. You can spar up here, as it is considered a duel in my book. Watch out for high-speed gusts of wind, as you may find yourself in an endless freefall to the bottom of the steps! HAHAHAA!!! twisted
The Rose Duel Arena is for those who challenge another from the guild to a duel! Feel free to call someone out if you wish, and see if they are man enough to step out!

Faolan steps out of shadows and into the torchlight illumninating the cave. Stepping out across cave sand that hasn't been disturbed in millenia he draws a ring in the sand with his sword.
Then kneeling down in the center of the ring he waits for an opponent.

Chibi_Brigham Faolan steps out of shadows and into the torchlight illumninating the cave. Stepping out across cave sand that hasn't been disturbed in millenia he draws a ring in the sand with his sword. Then kneeling down in the center of the ring he waits for an opponent. There echoed a crunching of the sand from the pitch darkness. With ech step there came an impending anxiety to find out what this treacherous presence was. Time seemed to slow to a halt, as the moments droned on, the faint steps from the distant entrance growing closer and closer. On the opposite side of the cave, one by one the torches surrounding the cave began to light, pulsing out into a fascading ring. The flames met at the other end, behind the mysterious figure. Finally, the opponent was revealed. A tall man, beautiful in features but cold and heartless in his stare, stepped forth. He had long silver hair that flowed nearly to the ground, and demon markings apparent on his jaws and wrists. It seemed as if his left arm had not originated from him, but was plucked clean from another demon, and placed upon his own shoulder. The look was stone cold, his crimson eyes hidden behind slick shades. His choice of clothing was stately and proffesional, aside from the tear in his left arm to accomodate that ghastly black limb. Twin blades, 9 feet in length, dangled unsettlingly on his back. Menacing auras emanated from those Katanas. It was quite clear that the mysterious man was prepared for battle. The man's piercing eyes stared straight through Faolin's skull, "You must be new... Faolin I presume..." The tall man stood 10 yards from this combatant.

Arwen walked into the practice arena after setting the battle, Kenti stood by her side. Standing their ground they waited for the opponents to appear. From the center of the field a flash of light illuminated the darkness, and before them stood three huge beasts, their red eyes raging with anger. The middle one let out a howling roar and the three leaped out intending rip them both to shreds. Arwen drew her sword caught one in the mouth, and held it back with all her strength. Snorting heavily, it snapped at her reveling rows of knife like teeth. She slid the blade across the monsters jaws severing the top of the head from the body. Kenti jumped back and forth around the arena dodging the two other monsters and taking swipes at them as he past by.

The severed head wriggled about on the ground and turn to ashes at her feet. With only half a head the monster still raged on. Striking Arwen across the chest with its massive clawed hand, she slid across the field as the beast bound toward her. With no time to move she held up her sword just as the monster came down on her. The wolf demon screeched in pain as her sword went right through it. Blood splattered all over, but soon disappeared as the beast turned to ashes. Standing up and brushing her self off she saw another coming towards her. Quickly she swung her sword and sliced it in two. The back half shriveled up, but the other half snapped at furiously. Pulling out her iron maidens she shot its head twice, and it too shriveled up. Arwen turned around to see Kenti fighting furiously with the last beast. Both of the creatures were bleeding from deep gashes. She quickly took aim, and shot a few rounds into the wolf demon. It shrived and disappeared. The lights again dimmed, as Kenti dragged him self to Arwen’s side. Out of the ring she began to heal both of their wounds.
