I research on MapleTip and Hidden-Street quite often. But some equips and items they list are definitely NOT reported to have any monsters drop them. An example of a weapon I'm looking for is a Daiwa Sword (2H, lvl 65.. I know, I'm looking far into the future). If anyone has an idea of sales (FM or auction like BasilMarket, etc) or if they've actually HAD rare, unlisted drops, post here. I'm sure I'm not the only curious one.

I've never heard of that item, Ask someone around that level about it.

I'm pretty sure that sword is not available in Maple SEA, and I know it's not available in GMS, so I think that is an item that hasn't been released yet. I don't know about other ones listed with no way to get them, maybe it's the same thing. You are right, you aren't the only curious one. wink

I'm sure I'm not the only curious one. also berzerker in basilmarket berzerkers are around 65mil O_o dunno what drops it.

some sites have items not released yet but they will be out eventually

I have been noticing a trend, however. MapleGlobal will sometimes receive these Elusive weapons/hard to find items in the form of Cash Shop items. While I have yet to see any news on what MapleSea gets, I would assume there is a "true" version and a "NX" version or some of these items (Diao Chan's Sword is a perfect example).
That being said, I hope some of them remain actual weapon drops. Considering the discovery of new drops seems to be occuring differently between MapleSea and MapleGlobal, I have a feeling a lot of databases will have slightly skewed info until we can get absolutely confirmations.
