Will your mom let you bleach it? Or hair removal cream (nair or something) is suposed to work but I have never tried it. But for the time being I wouldnt worry about it unless its affecting your life in a bad way then I would say talk to your mom about it.

You can always go for some nair and remove it that way.

But would it look weird against dark tan skin? (Blonde arm hair on a tan girl biggrin )

Perhaps try a depilatory cream like Nair. But that pretty much gives you the same effect as shaving it. ^^; Could you wax it...? Bleaching would be good only if you were the same tone as bleached hair. ^^;; I'd try talking to your mom about how you feel about the hair and see if she'll give in and let you try a few methods.

Ya, talk to your parent in a rational and adult manner. Don't be childish when doing it or else your plan will more than likely backfire and make it difficult the next time around. Or you could do it without her permission and get in trouble over it. I mean what is she going to do, Glue it back on? Lol

My friend told me that if you rub your hand up and down your arm in the bath (to tangle up all your arm hair) and then use a pumice stone on it when you get out, it gets rid of the hair. But I have no idea if it works. If someone tries it, let me know.. sweatdrop

yea i kinda have that problem too... but really, i just go along with it and try to ignore it, it seems that everyone else who has it doesn't really care... just if it's a lot, try shaving the egdes so it doesn't cover as much of your arm. i hope that helped!
tis cat~

bleaching it sounds like a pretty nifty thing to do.
i nair my arms, it lasts like a week to 2 weeks.
houtson is verry hot and i started to keep my self cool. im italian and designed for cold weather. ive verry much adjusted to tx though so i may consider bleaching, mabye.
i know avon has started selling a hair lightner cream. you could try that as opposed to an expenisive salon visit.

I know everyone is recomending nair-which I can recomend too-but if you decide to use it, be sure to get the non-scented kind. If your skin is iritated easily you can have a reaction to the nair. (This has happened to me before on my legs xD)

gonk I have the same problem. Nair or wax seems like the best solution, but whats made me hesitate to do it is - do you take it ALL the hair off? Would it seem unnatural/obvious to not have any hair on your arms?

I shaved my arms for a very short while, but it got worse and worse, and now there's more hair covering more area than before. D:
I leave it alone now out of fear of not being able to keep up with it. I don't want prickly arms, but usually when I bathe I'm in a hurry, and not wanting to take time on things like shaving my arms.
My mom claims the hair's not noticable, but it makes me feel like an ape. I empathize.
Things like that are most likely why your mom doesn't want you shaving your arms.
Bleaching the hair is a good idea. I've even heard of that hair lightening cream that Avon sells that was mentioned earlier, that sounds like a good idea too.
I would invest in one of those two, because I, like gloomy kitten worry as to how unnatural it would seem a girl to have no hair on her arms at all. It would be very obvious, and I know that someone would eventually ask me, and that would be quite embarrassing. D:
Good luck, though. Let us know how this goes over, please?

NEVER shave your arms!
I did it once or twice, and it just got worse!
So I stopped and I let it be.
Don't let it bother you.
I have the same problem and I am the same age as you
