Airez woke up and glanced around. Heart Shaped Toastie was the only new member. He shrugged, picked up a gift box, and handed it to her.
He then muttered a few words, and the door to the jail opened.
"Go outside. Stand in the middle of the town, not near any obstacles."
She blinked at him, shrugged, grabbed the box, and did as told.
Airez turned around and nodded at the Jailbirds. "Get down."
They blinked at him.
"NOW!"
The jailbirds threw themselves down on the ground.
There was a bright flash, and then a deafening explosion. The Jailbirds stood up slowly and looked out the window.
There was a crater where Heart Shaped Toastie was.
Airez grinned. "Perfect."
---Later That Night---
The Sniper chuckled. Like moving targets, they were. Lots of them, just aimlessly wandering around, while the Sniper sat perched atop the Forums building in Barton.
Meh, one was as good as any.
::BLAM::
A n g e l z was now true to her namesake.
---A Little Later---
"Yes, yes, please, stand here. Right. At the line. For the photo of the cover of the magazine."
Veliofi binked at the strange person with the camera.
"Er, picture of... What is this for?"
The person with the camera sighed. "The cover of the Gaian Geographic! This new crater is the newest thing to Gaia, so we want to do a feature on it."
Veliofi shrugged. "Fine. But why am I in the picture?"
The person thought for a moment. "Er, size comparison. Now take a step back."
She did.
"One more."
She took another step backwards.
"Almost perfect. One more step should do it."
She took one last step backwards... Over the cliff of the crater.
She landed in a crumpled, dead heap.
Heart Shaped Toastie has been voted off, Veliofi has been killed, and A n g e l z has been sniped.
Lorna~Dune and Naturegirl have been removed due to inactivity.
