I do not have the letters with the line over them to show them the extended pronunciation therefore I will put an extra vowel where it needs to be in these brackets [ ].

I highyl doubt that. So what, there's real and fake Japanese? First, I just checked my dictionary and this is what I got:

恋人 koibito- lover
彼氏 kareshi he/him, boyfriend
彼女 kanojo- she/her, girlfriend (used by men)
ボーイフレンド- boifurendo- boyfriend
ガールフレンド garufurendo- girl friend

You are partially right but kare acutally is used as he. The same as kanojo.
If it isn't spelled like that then why do books and dictionaries have them but not only that lots of people right using it. I've seen it on anime too!
If it isn't those than what is it if you're so right?

Plus age has nothing to do with it, I'm 15. And no I am not knew!

, and just like watching r rate movie not suited for learn english, neither anime. 15, wow, i am 21 stare
PostPosted: Sat Jun 24, 2006 11:10 am

why in your signature you have written mikagiichi sama? rofl then sen written vertical if that is what you wanted.
PostPosted: Sat Jun 24, 2006 11:19 am

something to know for he/she:

ano shito/kata (hyojungo= hito)= polite for he she. kare and kanojo is rude and odd

person name= even when saying you a person name is prefer. same is for he/she (if you know name)

kare/kanojo= yes these are sometime use like "mikagi"-KUN ( twisted )

point out. they can be rather rude at time. kanojo, is an invention to japanese so it not so naturally use.(somtime)

everything2
kare
"He" or "him". The title, position, or name of the person referred to is usually preferred.
Plural: karera, "they" (masculine or mixed).
kanojo
"She" or "her". Again, title, position, or name is usually preferred over this pronoun.
Plural: kanojotachi, referring to a group of females.
ano hito
Often used for "he", "she", or to mean "that person" (the literal meaning). This is more common than the previous two pronouns for referring to a third person.
Plural: ano hitobito or ano hitotachi, which indicates "they" or "those people".

Il fix that but it does not say that. That is supposed to be a dash. Look at the difference:

一 ichi
ー dash

noW compare them to mine and it's the dash. So it actualyl says MI KA GI (DASH) SAMA
Oh and by the way it was never made to be vertical. This guild just makes it like that.
