This topic, as if the name didn't give it away, is dedicated to finding anime characters who resemble the cast of Gundam Wing. It's mostly a goofy joke topic, but let's have some fun. First off, I guess I'll handle Relena since she's my favorite. ^_^ There are a few references to her in Gundam itself, such as Princess Lily in SD Gundam Force, and one of Roybea's girlfriends in X, and maybe even to some extent Queen Dianna and Lacus Clyne. But as for other anime, Relena has a couple of long-lost sisters, it seems. 1) Tsukino Azusagawa from Yakitate! Aona Robin the Aussie Tsukino looks like a more updated and sexier version of Relena. As hard as that is to accomplish... I dunno I thought Relena was pretty. Her english VA didn't suit her as well as her Japanese VA but you also gotta look at her character wise from the standpoint of an animator. She was simplified in drawing only because of how much they have to actually animate to make them move on screen. If her hair was down in that Queen Relena outfit... I dunno I think she would have looked fine. smile She looked nice as Vice Minister Dorlian.

I think Relena's attractive...which isn't necessarily because my girlfriend looks like her. <_<
But I say her best outfit is the skirted suit she wore in Battlefield of Pacifists. My GF loves the Queen dress, tho, and is trying to get it.
And if it makes you feel better Luna, Lisa-Ann Beley (Relena's US voice) also thinks she didn't do a very good job as Relena. When my GF talked to Scott McNeil at a convention, he confided that Ms. Beley thinks she made Relena sound too old.

I've actually always found her to be one of the most attractive girls in any Gundam series. She has a simple yet elegant character design. But yeah, alot of the characters sounded too old. I wouldn't mind seeing Wing get the Evangelion Platinum Edition treatment, and have the entire series remastered and re-recorded. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I'm satisfied with Wing I mean how can someone like Zechs look that tall and old and sound it, yet he's only 20?
I wasn't like that at 20 he looks like 25 minimum.
Some of them look right though, but most don't they look mature.
So I wouldn't go blaming the dubbers they probably had limited info to work with.
I personally am satisfied for the most part with Wing's dub.
I'm a dub supporter here anyway.

Dubbing has improved drastically in recent years. Gundam Wing, for its time, is extremely good - its just that the dubbers are getting better at their job. Also, the increasing popularity of anime is leading more talent to look towards it as a line of work, and more VAs provides a lot more options, while veterans like Cam Clarke improve with every character they perform.

Lol its not really like it sounds its about a boy who can be controlled by ghosts to speak to their loved ones by taking over his body.
Athough their is some yaoi hints. sweatdrop

I've noticed that alot of people compare Sousuke Sagara to Heero Yuy. They have similarities both in appearance and attitude, although I pity Sousuke for the less... soldierly situations he finds himself in.

Pretty strange, isn't it? As antisocial as everyone seems to think Heero is, Sosuke is actually worse. Heero would never blow up a shoe locker or anything like that.
