Now before you read the massive cut and paste I just put down I would like to tell you several things if you are indeed reading this.

1) I love Gaia heart and Firefox, and anime
2) My Gaia experience and many others (experiences?) are/is/has being ruined
3) I am happy to talk to such a person whom owns such a large and overwhelming site

Next, background information about me:
I joined around 2003 or so, name was NiGHTS Chao, Im just a 17 (18 in july) old kid with boring qualities...etc..., I was as one would say "not known"

Well I got banned for "flaming" and time passed and I became a very loved and well known member of the Video Game Discussion forum, I LOVE the people there, I have made so many friends that I cannot express how much I love it

But, my and others fun is being ruined by the current moderation team there
(except the mod named beramode, she is fine)

but the moderators there show no mercy, they have dissed my sigs (which I am famous for, my Cat-girl sigs are something everyone loves), banned me 17 times, banned others countless times for VERY minor reasons and are simply power hungry

to sum up the mods there this would be it:

- not active enough with everyone
- do not take reports seriously
- ban veteran users for minor things
- avoid warnings
- do not give out simple "verbal warnings" (Not a account warning, but just telling you not to do something again)
- lazy
- powerhungry

Personally, I want them to be changed out with REAL moderators, people that know what a sense of sarcasm and humor is, people that are nice to members and such, users that do not look at the posts in Black&White

I want the VGD to be a thriving community within gaia, not the hell-hole that it is now. The other mods in other parts of gaia are outstanding but the VGD lacks this quality

Currently not only is the moderation lacking, but so is the organization in the VGD
The stickies and sub forums seriously need to be redone, and I will happily talk with you or Beramode about that issue if you wish, because I came up with a very clean organized chart of how it should be and many people agreed with me, even some of the mods.

Now with that out of the way, I am very very estatic that you read all that, please as a person to one another, please think about this. I want the VGD to be someplace fun, and it is not as of now, to be honest

This was what I was really getting to, the layout
and I know that your probaly not going to read this but just consider it, if not an idea for now, then a idea for later

*sigh* this will take a while to type out, so bear with me if there are errors

First of all I would like to give my opinion on the new layout:

- Unorganized - Homepages are unnessary and seem cluttered without borders
- Slow - I the current navi is boring, and thus I am forced to click through pages of stuff just to get to the stuff I want
- Design - The graphics dont appeal to many, including me

Since I dont want to go in terrible detail, Ill leave it at that, but I do not like the layout.


This is my idea of how it should be arranged:

Now when you look at this, there are changes:

1) The round navi menu, when you hover the mouse over it for several seconds a drop down menu shall appear and give you more options
- This leaves the main header to be clean

2) The alert bubbles are fixed
- Now I was sick and tired of having to click through a bunch of crap to get to my profile and guilds

Thus when you hover over a bubble link, it becomes less transparent and it gives the following side navi

- Mail
- Friends list
- Guilds
- Profile

Profile - Straight to your profile, instead of going to the My Profile customasation page
Guilds, straight to YOUR guilds listing, instead of the Guild HUB

3) The added Bubble
- Since im sure people dont access trades THAT often nor get events, I added this on the side so when you have a notification on the following:
- New mail
- New friend request
- New/Pending Trade
- New Profile comments
- New Arena Info
- New EVENTS <3
- New Updates (for the annocements forum)

Then it would show a icon there, instead of lighting up your navi icons, it would show a alert THERE instead

4) Drop down menus:

Like I said before, by hovering the mouse over you get more options and cute little icons for each option:

My Gaia: (If you dont select a option from the menu and you click on this then it would bring you to your Profile Customize page)
- Profile (Customization page of course)
- My Inventory
- My Journal
- My Friends
- My mail
- My Channel

Community: (If you dont select a option from the menu and you click on this then it would bring you to the forum index page)
- Forum Index
- Guilds
- Arenas
- Market Hub
- Trade Center

The World: (If you dont select a option from the menu and you click on this then it would bring you to the World Map)
- Games (I know I didnt include this but this would link to the main Game hub with these selections on the page: Towns, Slots, Cards, Fishing)
- World Map
- Gaia NEWS (This leads to the current World Page Hub with all the stuffs on it)
- Shops

Contribute: (If you dont select a option from the menu and you click on this then it would bring you to the current main contribute HUB)

- Gaia store <3
- Donate (then expanded with)- How to donate
- Gift Credits


From there on thats how I think the menu should work

but currently the examples i provided are just bland, and need touching up in many areas but its a good job for getting an idea
