It's a leaf! ... That occassionally wiggles. Is that normal behaviour for a plant extremity? Raven's all snug as a bug in there. >w< She's... she's so pretty! @w@ Lookit those curls, and those baby blues, and wings!... Such a dolly. <3 Very attatched to my old teddy bear, Nana, too. After a long haul, accompanied by Alexander, Raven has grown. A flutterboo by the name of Rumkai has taken up residence on her shoulder, one of Alex's feathers is stuck in her hair, and the ever-faithful Nana is hanging onto an arm. <33

Raven is quite tickled with this chicken plooshie, from Alexander and Feather. Hasn't named it yet, but, that'll change I'm sure. biggrin Thanks so much, you guys! Two kittie plushies, from Jadaria and Kaji. :3 Raven's quite tickled with them, and plays with them often. A collection of books from Ms. DiYanni and Madeline; (from left to right) Beauty, Love, Life, Holy, and Evil. Raven's fascinated with the colors... not really the words just yet. We're working on that. A watercolor painting from Alexander. Raven has framed it and hung it on her wall-- she seems to like it lopsided. There isn't a day her eyes don't marvel it. The awesomest kite in existance. A gift from Miss Mouse Pachinkorelli. Raven's in love with it-- more to snuggle than to fly, really. A butterfly pendant, from Koyuki and [in some way] Artemis. She immediately named him Bottochelli. Raven stuck it on one of her favorite mice during the performance, and he is now a resident of Nana, the teddy. It's her good luck charm. :3 A blue jay pl00sh from Kakui. <3 A purple rose from Ladyumbra. Raven has stuck it in a vase next to her bed.

Raven knows Alexander the best by far. They met when she was still a potted leaf, and she gave Nana to him as he was just beginning 'Flowerpot Duty,' trying to quell his unhappiness. It worked. They spent a time in the meadow as well, declaring the flying colorful creatures they saw 'flutterboos.' Their child quest involved a play (which they performed flawlessly :D), finishing with a smack on the cheek from Alex. ;D He makes her smile all the time, and makes her quite happy. Kaji, Raven has declared, she likes. He's just a bundle of energy, who seems to know all these new-fangled tricks-- like hopping. She enjoys his company, and is rather taken with his pierced ears. Hasn't seem him in awhile, though. Teagan, who referred to himself as 'Tean,' frightened Raven at first with his eccentric behavior-- and tail, apparently. She eventually handed Nana over to him, since she believes she [Nana] can heal anything; worked with Alex, right? They've only met a few times, briefly, but, she smiles enough around him. Shouko, Raven feels, is unique. Not just in her way of greeting (hugs!), but her hair (pink!), her clothes, her shoes, and... well, the colors Raven saw the day they met dazzled her; she'd never seen such a bright pink before. In any case, the day they met was the day Raven spoke to a butterfly (flutterboo). Raven approves of Sho. Hasn't seen her in awhile, too. Madeline confuses Raven, to an extent. She [Raven] thinks her name is Nay, because that's all she spoke of on their first meeting. It's stuck. Madeline was also quite interested in Nana. Tyyne introduced herself on a visit to the HQ, and, from the little she knows about her, Raven likes her.

Name Bird [noapparentlastname :O] -Gender female -Race human -Age in the teenage years, somewhere -Occupation currently unemployed -Defining features ... not reallly, aside from the massive amount of hair on her head (picture isn't exactly correct. xD) -History was born, grew up, moved out. Name Papree ('Pree) Gender female Race Shattered Age not exactly sure, but, a toddler Occupation resident gypsy ;D Defining features --- History yet to be revealed. Was found on the table that's constantly leaden with unpayed bills. Name Nana Gender female Race teddy bear! Age ... found in the attic. Does that give you a clue? Name Rumkai Gender male Race - butterfly/flutterboo Age can't be more than a few months This butterfly (flutterboo) took up residence on Raven's shoulder shortly after she grew into a child. He hasn't left. Raven has the ability to speak with butterflies, something she discovered during an unfortunate incident that she doesn't wish to speak about often. In any case, Alexander helped Raven name him-- he suggested Kai, to which the butterfly responded with his name [Rum], and thus Rumkai was born.

Wednesday, April 13th. I don't understand it. The whole concept's been explained to me, time and time again, sure... but I still don't quite grasp it. A leaf... turning into a child? That I'm in charge of? I think the biggest question that slaps me straight in the face is, Why me?
... Perhaps they have a few screws loose. Yes; that must be it.Bird sighed, scattering a few stray pieces of hair with the gust. Warily, she glanced back over to the solitary leaf adorning the small wooden table inhabiting the corner; it had seemed to wilt on the granite countertop.
Carefully setting down the small book she kept her thoughts in, and placing the thin black pen next to it, the young woman stood and paded over to the plant particle, stuck in a small goblet of water that seemed to evaporate much faster than normal standards. Bird pursed her lips lightly, coming to a decision. She deftly reached into the glass and plucked the resting leaf from its holder, getting a closer look.
It seemed to shimmer at the contact, defying physics. The leaf shifted, lolling onto its side on the smooth skin of Bird's, not aided by a breeze.
Eyes growing wide, Bird stuffed the leaf back into the glass, wiping her damp hands on her pantleg. She shuffled over to the lightswitch, throwing glances behind her back every so often, before flicking it and retreating to the bedroom.
And then she thought better of it. Fetching a nightlight, the woman quickly set it up on the small table, flicking the switch and giving one last look at the leaf before leaving the room to busy herself.
The small plant extremidy shined again under the dim light, before dulling back to its original color.

Thursday, April 14th. Bird yawned, scrubbing her face with one hand as she paraded out of the room and into the kitchen. She felt, after working diligently on a report she had neglected for quite some time, a break was indeed deserved, and sought straight after a soda.
Inhaling the crisp, cool air the refrigerator wafted off, the woman scanned the contents of it before snatching what she desired. Cracking the can open, Bird turned to seek out her chair to lounge upon--
The leaf glinted, wiggled lightly, creating ripples in the water, in a greeting.
Her mouth had been closed. So, naturally, the carbonated water spilled out of her nose. Bird gagged, plugging it and hastily wiping off her face with her sleeve.
Sniffing delacatly, the woman examined the leaf. Low on water again, she noted, and picked up the glass to fill it under the spigot, purposely ignoring the happiness positively radiating from it.
Placing the goblet back in its place, Bird worried her brow in examination at the leaf one more time, before shrugging, snatching her drink, and resigning herself for another long two hours.

"Phew, the last one. This house looks pretty." Lena said to the orange flowerpot, which was standing in front of the door now. Just like the other ones it also had an envelope attached to it's surface. Now the exciting part started.A letter from Eden
Dear Bird,
We hope you had a lot of fun with your leaf right now. Don't you think it's time to help it develop ? We thought so and because of this you're receiving this special flowerpot, which allows the oxygen to get into the earth easier. Take good care of you and your future child and let us know if something unusual occurs.
Have a nice day
~Lena [ Please roleplay the planting scene to make your leaf develop ]

Bird puffed out her cheeks as she read the letter, absently stirring the concoction she had thrown together on the stove for a meal.
Plant a leaf... she thought absently. Ah, well, s'not as weird as a kiddo coming out of one. Shrugging, the woman fiddled with the knob for the stove and turned it off, abandoning the letter for the smooth clay pot, placing it next to the near-empty goblet holding the soon-to-be-Eden.
Remembering the basics of gardening, Bird knew the plant needed sunlight. She bit the inside of her cheek, turning in a full circle before declaring the main window was the leaf's. She made her way over towards it, inspecting, and wiped off some of the collecting dust with her shirt sleeve before she was satisfied.
Padding back into the living room, sockless, Bird carefully removed the leaf from its holder, smiling faintly at the change of atmosphere, and gently placed it into the small hole she had dug out with her fingers, patting the soil snugly around it.
Standing back, Bird surveyed her handiwork, and a name instantly came to her lips before she could stop it.
"Raven."
She blinked for a moment, the small Eden shimmying in place, before grinning at it. "... Well, I s'pose that's your name," she chuckled. "Okay. Raven it is."

Saturday, April 16th. As the breeze surged into the room from the freshly opened window, Bird's posture relaxed, and she sagged into the chair awaiting her.
Raven was, apparently, sleeping. A drowsy, content feeling wafted in the air around her. Bird smiled at the sight of the planted leaf; she couldn't wiggle as much anymore from the roots slowly implanting themselves into the soft soil.
Good sign, good sign.
A glance out the aforementioned window told her a rough estamate of the time. Bird rose, turning on the small lamp she had placed on the desk where the large flower pot sat and giving the ceramic bowl a fond pat before retiring to her bedroom. She searched for a moment, looking for the tightly-bound book she always wrote her thoughts in, allowing her mind to quiet.
Feels... strange, looking after Raven. I mean, I'm just a teenager and I've already got a charge to keep a couple of eyes on. But... I'm not angry about it. S'kind of exciting, actually. I wonder what she'll look like...?
She slept heavily that night, dreaming.

Sunday, April 17th. The door was shoved open uncerimoniously by a large flop from Bird, who was unbuttoning her jacket with one hand and scratching her head with the other.
"Boy, what a nightmare..."
She spoke of the day she plowed through. It had been merciless. And she was hungry.
She waltzed into the main room of her dwelling, flashed a wave at the cumbersome flowerpot on the table, and plopped into a chair, sighing.
Raven's stem fluttered a bit in welcome before she subsided into a nap.
Vaugely eyeing the leaf, Bird wondered for a moment when it would actually become a child.
Unless they were pulling my leg, she thought absently. 'Course, that'd be an awful long way to pull... Naw. Couldn't be lying. She shrugged it off, mentally stocking away a time to meet those people that seemed to know much more about these Edens than her, and hauled herself up to make some lo mein.
