Don't you hate it when you join a really good guild and then a couple weeks later you find that your leader sold his account D:

I've had my share of bad guilds, but I really liked my most recent one, explicit (we even had a website! A WEBSITE gonk !). Then the guild leader told everyone he was going on vacation for a month and we shouldn't talk to his character because he was letting his cousin play, but he made us all add him to his buddy list before kicking us all from the guild.

Two weeks later, the guild leader IM's me on MSN saying that he actually quit MapleStory and sold his account for $350.

Gaah >o< $350? I have a feeling it had something to do with me mentioning I knew of a real hacking site (not one of those scamming ones) and I wouldn't give it to him.

Any of you guys had bad experiences with guilds you'd like to share or vent about?

Oh that hurts. But $350?! Wow! I had to pay 40k for mine and there are only lvl 40s and 30s. They don't really talk to anyone either. When they made a few changes one day, I was checking out my guild for some reason. Then I saw that I ranked a hobo (the lowest member is the ranking thing of like Jr. Master and so on, but the name really got me going). I was like "Gee, what's up with our leader?" But good thing I didn't speak my thoughts out loudly. Few days later I was ranked a member (the 4th member just above the lowest rank). Then I also THOUGHT "Wow, you sure you don't wanna keep me as a hobo?" I'm planning to quit once I get my money's worth, somehow...

I hate when people play on friends accounts and muck around with the guild settings, I got kicked out of a guild that way. scream
