I know people aways talk about the dunes and qufim and kazam and so on for having bad partys but what about the really good ones.
EX: I needed to raise my Sub(blm) because my rdm was getting to that point(lev 40) So i go to qufim level 20. I get a crapy pt and disband. Then I get "The invite" A rank 10 sam invites me. I come to the camp and pt goes. Blm/rdm(me) blm/rdm sam/war mnk/war blm/whm war/nin
Wheres the healer you say? The Sam got her RL BF a level 75 rdm/blm to pl biggrin In 2 1/2 hours I get to lev 24 and then some. The pt loses the mnk but we get a thf half way into the pt so the DD pt rocked qufim that night.
EX 2: Last night I felt like leveling thf. Some how i get a invite in jeuno and i wasnt lfp. I join up all level 20(tnl of pt was with in 1k of everyone I found out) pt goes Rdm/whm thf/nin(me) nin/war nin/war whm/blm blm/whm I was puller and me and the nin SC biggrin The nin had his level 60+ mnk pal killing elementals and bogys and ghouls when they poped so I just keeped pulling in a 1 1/2 hour i got to lev 22 and half way to 23. Sadly the blm was going to bed so we all called it a night.
In both those pt not one person died so it went well and there was one rank 10 and 9 and the rest where 5 or 6 so I guess im just lucky in qufim

Ok: here is a strat for leveling up with PTs for newbies and experienced up to level 35:
Newbies:
Windurst: 1-10 Sarabutaria, Ruins/tower, mountains Bastok: 1-10 Gustaburg (Vamp Hill then Furamoles) San D'Oria: 1-10 Ronfaure, Gel. Outpost.
Valkrum Dunes: 10-20 High quantity players
Qufim: 20-25 High quantity players --> Easy mobs
Kazham: 26-32. Easy mobs, high quantity of players
Garliage: 32-35 Common place, easy camp spots
Experts:
1-10 is your choice, but I have had the most luck leveling quick EXP in the Furamole area in gustaburg.
10-20: Duens works well, although be sure to be in command of a PT. Most players suck here and are new to the game. If you want to avoid this area, try killing in Maze of Shrak, or Jugnar.
20-25: Qufim works. Worms at lake, then gobs in the tower. If you want some pre-20 work done, beetles in Saramouge Camp. Work well.
25-32: Kazham. Great deal of players, numerous camps, easy mobs. Just be careful of goblin spawns and links. I have also gone and killed dancing weapons in Saramouge Camp at this level.
32-35: Garliage halls until 33 AT LEAST. Then go to banishing gate 1. No trains, endless chains. If you hate GC, Altepa deserts work well.
35-52: Crawlers Nest is famous for these levels, and an easy area to navagate in. Altepa and quicksand are also available at this level.
52-56: Crabs in Kuftal work well, same thing with Boyhada Tree. The tunnel outside the dunes (Gah forgot name...) is open for those who want to exp off of gobs again. Easy navagation for the camps, and you can get to 60 from there.
56+ Bones parties. By now you should know the significance of a light/dark Skillchain.
From there it is pretty open. Once you get to a high level, have fun in SKY and killing gods! Also, from rumour, Ive heard an effective way EXPing off of ENMs... Looking into this.
Anyway, unless you have a PL, levels 10-35 suck. 35-45 are pretty horrible. NIN tanks are worth something by 37 and exping actually gets good.
Here is a tip once you are past 37 (Utsusemi: NI I believe)
THF SATA on NIN > PLD Seriously. Also, Earthstaff > Gluttony Finally Tarutaru PLDs that know how to play > others. PLDs is all about defense, keeping hate, and MP. HP isnt a big issue since efficacy is MP Pool - MP spent. HP doesnt matter unless the mob hits you for a huge amount on one hit. If a taru gets hurt 50 and a Galka gets hurt 50, its the same MP spent to heal the same damage. Only difference in the VIT, but that isnt a problem if the tarutaru is experienced. PLDs get their defense from magic.
There you go.

But if a ninja had good timing with his Utsusemi, he wouldn't get hit in the first place. Prophets is the best NIN tank I have seen because he gets hit maybe 2-3 times a fight. I like this better than a pld tank that gets hit all the time for little damage.
