Well, this has been a long coming thread and I just had the time to finally make it, YAY!
CHARACTER BATTLE THREAD!
By Chewy and edited slightly by Nolah (then re-edited by chewy)
So here is the gist of things, there is a list of all the characters from everyone of Tolkien's books about Middle-Earth (they must be mentioned in the book, not just on a family tree). Now, the list may need some help to be completed because I don't know every character that Tolkien created, sorry. So, I do ask for your help if you've noticed I've forgotten someone. If the list doesn't have some characters that you like, they will be included in the next round, which will be when the winner of this round is chosen (obviously). Because the list would be so big, we'll just add new characters as each round progresses.
When a character has won a round, he or she will be removed from the next list and added to the winner's circle. When there are enough champions we will have the ultimate character battle (insert dramatic music here)
Each character starts off with 50 points. Each person is allowed to vote once a day. The object is to eventually have one character win out over the others. You are allowed to remove up to 5 points from a character and in doing so, given them to another character. You must add and subtract the totals from the characters in the list and quote it in your post.
EXAMPLE (of how to cast a vote):
Quote: Gimli +5 Gandalf -5 Frodo -2 Elrond +1.5
Tom Bombadil arrow Luthien
When a character is reduced to zero, they are removed from the list.
