Ayden walked on the sidewalk towards the Stationary Store, holding Heart's hand, but only because she had insisted since they were close to the street. "I want to go in on my own." Ayden said with his own insistancy. He knew she would listen to him she only wanted the best for him always and for him to be happy, although she was still confused on all that was going on and she would probably never fully understand.
Heart looked at Ayden and knealt down on her knees so she was at eye level. "I know you'll be safe in there Ayden, I'll be waiting right here on this bench when you are done." Heart said softly as she opened the stationary store door for Ayden.
Ayden looked at Heart expectantly, she had forgotten to let him go. He tugged hard on his hand. She sighed and let go of him and moved to the bench and sat down as the door closed behind him. Ayden looked around the Stationary store slowly and walked further in.

"...No!" Came a cry from one of the couches near the fire. The cry of course, was followed shortly by a low mumble and then back to silence. Upon further investigation, one could see a blue-skinned girl, dressed in a orange yukata with yellow flowers and a yellow obi, lying on the couch on her back, one hand brushing the ground while the other rests ontop of a book on her stomach. The girl's blue-streaked white hair, unbraided for once, spilled over her shoulders and also over the couch, curling into a white and blue pile on the floor. The dark blue gem that took residence in the centre of her forehead was glowing softly in an unnatural light.
Her eyes were closed...was she asleep?

Ayden heard the cry of a girl and walked towards it finding a couch and a fireplace. He looked at her quizically. "Hmm..." He muttered silently as he approached her closer. She looked like she was sleeping and from the cry maybe a nightmare. He reached his smalll hand out for hers softly to wake her, but deceided not to because he'd startle her and then never have a chance. Instead he moved his hand to her yukata and tugged on it childishly so that he didn't make direct contact with her. "Wake up... wake up... I think you're having a nitemare..." Ayden said cutely and childishly, to decieve her. "Are you okay?"

Vidya didn't wake up at first; she'd been hit with her brother's wings at night, so as it stood there was little physical actions could do to wake her. Voices of course, were completely different. When Ayden started to talk to her to wake her up, the blue-skinned tale slowly opened her white eyes, rubbing them before sitting up and looking at the boy...even though her left eye had no pupil.
"Uhn...? Oh..." She breathed out with a yawn, stretching her arms over her head. "I musta fallen asleep...! Thank you for waking me, though!" She cooed out softly with a carefree smile, reaching out to pet the younger boy's hair in thanks. Upon contact however, she suddenly felt another wave of tiredness flow over her...something that stopped when she withdrew her hand for good.
She was too busy waking up to be bothered by it, but she did dwell on it long enough to look confused...which was something that stopped with another waking yawn. "You're...by yourself?" Vidya questioned, looking around the shop for any other signs of life.

Ayden looked at the girl curiously. "Yeah you did, your welcome." Ayden smiled softly at the girl, his smile widening when he felt her touch the top of his head and felt a sudden small burst of energy at the same time Ayden saw a quick white flash in his left eye, but it went away as fast as it came only leaving the vision in his left eye slightly blurry. Ayden looked around and let his smile fade away so he wouldn't draw attention. "Huh? Oh yeah, kinda... my mom is outside sitting on a bench." Ayden motioned his hand towards the door. "Did you have a nightmare?" He asked her again.

"Oh...I didn't mean to...!" The girl's headwings lowered, as if she was ashamed of being caught asleep. No pirate should be caught off guard, after all! Good thing Tybalt wasn't here.
Vidya wasn't entirely half blind. Truth be told she could technically 'see' out of her pupilless eye, but her 'sight' was limited to the smoke-like wispy auras that objects and people gave off, each with their different patterns and colours that depended on the person. After touching Ayden though, that kind of 'sight' was blurry to her...so she might as well be half blind. Still, she passed it off as herself still trying to wake up.
"Oh...well I guess that's safe...if she's outside." He did look young after all. At the mention of a nightmare, the girl looked down at her lap and picked at the bright fabric of her yukata as if she were shy. "Well...yeah, I was..." She trailed off, not going to bring it up again unless he asked farther.
"So! What brings you to the shop?" Vidya added pleasantly, giving the little boy an eyeless smile. Yay, change of topic!

"Yeah, she thinks this is a safe place, so she lets me go in here by myself, I just can't go anywhere else by myself..." Ayden sighed, he had already tried a bunch of times to lose that woman but he could never quite lose her entirely. "Do you have nitemares alot?" Ayden asked her curiously. "I do, that's why you're screaming right? Because your nightmare hurt you..." Ayden nodded his head as if everyone who had a nightmare suffered pain from it. "Uhm, I like meeting new people..." Ayden made up on the spot even though he had actually become more secluded since the other tales had told him he was different earlier, all except from his sister.

"Lucky!" Vidya exclaimed, resting her arms on her knees. "My Momma didn't even let me into the shop by myself!" Not that she minded of course, she quite liked her mother.
Oh great, he stayed on the nightmare subject. "Well...lately I've been having nightmares every night...well, its progressed to every time I fall asleep." Vidya must have found the hem of her yukata interesting, for her started to play with it almost nervously. To anyone who knew her, this was a very strange thing. "They hurt, yeah...I used to feel the pain after I woke up but...I don't anymore, so I should be grateful for that at least..." She didn't like her nightmares because she didn't like to be chased outside of games...or melted, for that matter. The blue-skinned girl did take a small notice in the way he pried into the nightmare issue...but of course she passed it off as toddler nosey-ness.
"Really? I go to the Park when I wanna meet new people. Though there usually is always some tale here..." She mused, tapping her chin with her fingers. "Well! You've met me now!" She stopped then, staring at the younger boy. Then, suddenly, a sheepish look came over her. "Eeeeeeh? How rude of me! I'm so sorry, I didn't introduce myself! I'm Vidya!" She said happily, holding her hand out as a custom greeting. "Its nice to meet you, ....? " Oh wait, she didn't know his name, either.

"I guess so, its the only place I can lose her at, she's on me like a dog on a squirrel." He sighed and shrugged his shoulders. "Really? Me too, I have alot of them." Ayden nodded his head as he pushed his some-what long, white, out of his face. "I went there once with my... mom... but there was only one boy there, I thought more people would be here, but it looks like its only you and me, so maybe I was wrong..." Ayden leaned back and sat on the floor, looking around the room once again. "Oh, me neither... I'm Ayden... nice to meet you Vidya." Ayden responded instinctively after hearing Heart say that everytime she met someone new. Ayden reached his hand out and clasped his small hand around hers and shook it lightly, feeling a breif rush of energy.

"I only lost my Momma or my babysitter when I was at home or in my room or something." The blue-skinned girl giggled. "Oh? A boy? Who was he?" Maybe she knew him! Most likely, she knew a lot of tales...especially Male tales, for whatever reason. Oh well. For a moment, she felt like apologizing for being the only one here...but that urge was only a passing one. It wasn't her fault, after all!
When Ayden shook her hand, Vidya felt that same twist of dizzyness pass over her. With a flutter of her eyes and a shake of her head, the withdrew her hand and held it towards her, pretending to fix her simple bracelet as to not offend her new friend. Still, her face was completely overcome by the expression of confusion. That was twice now...maybe really weird coincidences? "Nice...to meet you too." She finished at length, hesitantly setting her hand on her lap.
"Well Ayden!" Vidya continued on cheerfully, deciding that yes, it was only a coincidence. She did have a nap before he showed up after all...maybe she was still very tired. "Whattcha wanna do now? Might as well play or something, since there's only two of us here right now!"

"Hmm, I guess your kind of right, I lose her their too, she doesn't watch me as close at home." Ayden said after thinking about it for awhile. "Uhm his name was meh...meh... mehiyal..." Ayden replied to Vidya with a quick nod of his head. Ayden saw a small white flash once again and when the flash was gone his eyes blurred over a little as if he were looking through a water glass, but he ignored it. Ayden smiled "Yeah... uhm..." Ayden thought about it for a moment. "We can play a game, what sort of games do you play?" Ayden asked curiously.

"Mehiyal..." Vidya breathed out curiously, tapping her own chin in thought. That name was familiar...Oh! "Mehiyal! I was his secret santa!" With a gasp, she covered her mouth on reflex...she wasn't supposed to tell that! "Oooh...but nobody was supposed to know. Promise to keep it a secret?"
Games. Games games games...what kind of games did she play? She played a lot of video games on her own...but what kind of games could she play with a younger kid? The thought of picking a game that didn't involve touching him crossed her mind, but she ignored it. "Ah, too many to name! How about you pick the game? I'm up for anything!" Oh, that was brave of her!

"I heard about this game like you play mirror or something. What one person does, the other has to copy but like a mirror." Ayden grinned, this was easier than he thought. He just wondered how much essence he could get without the other Tale getting hurt too soon.

"...Mirror...?" Vidya parrotted softly, though a little hesitantly. She was reluctant to touch Ayden now, and Mirror was a game that usually ended up with physical contact somehow. But at the same time as she was feeling hesitant, she thought herself quite rude to be so reluctant. He was only a toddler after all, and perhaps the ping of exhaustion from the past times were just really well placed coincidences.
"Well I...guess we could play Mirror. How about you start, Ayden?" Really, she was trying very hard to not insult the boy by not wanting to go near him...and she was trying doubly hard to push the hesitant, unwanting tone from her currently soft voice. "I'll be your reflection, how does that sound?"

If Ayden noticed Vidya's hesitation, he didn't show it. It was possible he just thought she was tired and cranky, after all waking up suddenly made him cranky too.
"Sound good." He nods, scooting closer to Vidya. He raises his left hand into the air slowly, giving Vidya the chance to mirror his motions.
