(Fat Admirers)
Do you feel there are a lot of you out there? Or do you feel you're one of very few?
I'm just sitting here, wondering. I've never met a fat admirer face-to-face, and I was wondering if it would just be rare for me to find someone who would like that sort of thing.
Do you feel there aren't any women/men who would accept that, play along with it?
I've thought about that. I'm really not fat, in my opinion (5'7'' and 125-130 pounds), but I've thought about how I would love for a man (or woman, I suppose) to love me that way. The thought is just intriguing to me. Putting on some weight, if I had someone there to like it.
I've been staying up late with questions in my head. xd

I feel that there are a moderate amount of FA's out there. One's who will admit it are another matter. Many probably consider it embarassing because of the stereotype of beauty that society projects, and fear mocking or something of that nature by their friends or peers. I myself have no problem admitting it, and I think eventually those who hide it will "come out" about this view.
As for people who play along with it, I'm sure there are many individuals who enjoy the thought of not having to worry so much about keeping a thin figure and still having someone find them quite attractive. 3nodding

I dunno. I'm not very good at reading the relationships and drives of others.
I have noticed that some people think anybody who uses a word that rhymes with "fat" is an FA (this is particularly common when people speculate about celebrities)

Yeah...FA's are a rare breed to find in public. I mean, I'm an FA to some extent, but I have only admitted it to a computer screen, really. I'm agreeing to the fact that society binds us to one stereotype set: the macho men, and the big-boobed anorexic women. It's hard for ppl like us to come out of the closet on this...

i've noticed that too...but i'm sure there are quite a few FAs out there that aren't really open. I, myself, am pretty open. I've told my friends and some of my friends that are girls that i'm an FA...and they said that that's cool. lol. I think that some FAs are kinda scared of telling people that they like bigger people because of society's outlook on "what's hot".

I know exactly what you mean about only admitting it to the computer screen. As far as I know, I'm the only FA I know, so yeah, as far as I know it is pretty rare. Of course, every single one of my friends could also be an FA, just none of us is admitting it. Only one of my friends knows about me being an FA, but that was because I kind of told him by accident. He was fine with it though.

It's because you usually don't have to worry about an online person's opinion being an deciding factor in your daily life. Plus you have that sense of anonymity. 3nodding

I think there are
more Fat people than FA/FFA
more FA/FFAs than gainers
So if you're into gaining weight, hold out for a FA/FFA who loves and respects you because there a good ratio of them out there to your preference
If you're not actively gaining weight and just looking for acceptance than also don't worry. There are lots of non-FA/FFAs that will grow up and mature in a few years and step out from social pressures to appreciate the larger form without retraint.
As for the ration of FFAs to FAs... dunno about that one. It's been said for awhile now that the larger man can still rise up in jobs and such, so I guess the FFA has a easier time finding a rich man.. Many of us their are?

Maybe some more closet cases would come out about it. In general though, I think the sort of "underground" feel is part of what makes it so enticing.

Like the hardcore punk scene or street racing!! biggrin wait.... if we link rock, street racing, and FA... ism? Then we can infer.... Those who prefer larger people rock!!! eek *gasp*
