Can some people explain to me why people won't draw me avi art with my girlfriend because it would be yuri? That's fine I'll draw it myself, but I don't get why they act like it's so stupid to be bi. I don't really like getting along with everybody but I wonder why she got pissed at me because I wanted her to draw Yuri...
Also people look at me weird at school because I am Bi. My first thought was "well screw them." But now even my friends won't be as open to me. It's like they think I'm going to pull something on them. sad
I appreciate comments and open disscusions.

As far as your friends are concerned, be sneaky. Rant to a friend (who you KNOW will gossip about it) about how dumb it is for people to think you migvht like them. When word gets around, people will be like "oh" and hopefully leave you alone.

That's sort of how it worked for me...except I did it as soon as I came out, thereby bypassing the problem altogether. Good luck!

Some people think that those who are bi are whose, because they go after both genders.
Others think that hey are just confused and can't decide.

For a good example, the people here at my school seem to think that every girl who says they are bi, are just looking for the attention. Now quite frankly, almost all the girls are. They give their "Girlfriends" A peck on their cheek and wear rainbows all over the place and giggle a lot. To them, it's a fad. Now because most people see these girls doing it, they believe that the people who really are, are just doing it for the attention as well and that breaks a lot of trust in people and cause them to ignore.
For the problem with it being just 'yuri' it may be just the fact that as a straight person they can't see it as something that they're comfortable with or they don't believe it's worth drawing. That it's just to look cool. Who knows, but that's what I think it may be.

Heh, my dad thinks this is a phase and I'll go back to liking just boys soon. My friends all though I was a lesbian for a while, so the fact that I'm bi was sorta better than they had hoped (better for them, not me.)

((just so you know, I have no clue what I am...Kind of a long story.))
All my friends wont draw that stuff (I refer to it as stuff in a good way) because at my school, one of my best friends is bi, and well, people litteraly will throw stuff at her when she walks by. Its kind of like homosexuals and bisexuals are the outcast at my school. Sure she has some friends, but for every friend there are twenty others who hate her.
Those who are not like them are like lepers.
