I think its prettyful. Alot of people are complaining already...but I think its nice.
Goods:
-more pretty
-less color
-more organized
-lets gaians get known (like the featured stuff)
-NEW FREE STUFF!
Bads:
-too much white!
-my avi is too small >.< (I want it bigger)
-I can barly tell if i got new mail and stuff
But over all, I think its better. Im not complaining! cool

Good:
Pretty.
Cute.
Creative.
Exclamation icon next to the Trade, PMs, Friends icons for events. Since I had trouble with events before because of my firefox, now I will know when I get one. biggrin
Bad:
Too much white and my eyes can't stand.
Not organized AT ALL.
I miss the previous navigation bar at the top. It was easy and quick. Now I have to roll to the bottom of the page and THEN click. >.>

good:
-you can stalk friends much more easily. like if they are changing their avi
-icons brighten up when you get mail, and trades.
-gaia a-z
bad:
-i had like 6 messages with out knowing.
-my avi is tiny @_@
-unorganized
-you can't like hover over the top banner and see all the mini banner link things
also i was on right when they changed and i almost though i like died and saw only white @_@

Good:
-more things on front page
-more organized

-new profiles
(the new profiles are okay but i ordered one from the old type so now i dont get my money's worth)

Heh, it looks like it was designed by a newbie designer looking for quick work, taking the footer look from the Wiki. neutral
The text area is much too wide, and the usage of white space is really bad, especially for those of us with dark desktops/browsers. There is no real even amount of colorage, but the navigation is easier.
Heh, if I did this type of layout in school, I'd lose so many points for those few things and maybe more. sad

I forgot to mention the old banner thingy at the top. I liked it wayy better. You just put your mouse over then down then click. But now I have to scroll to bottom and I have to learn where everything is. I got so used to the old I knew that by clicking on community it goes straight to forums now I have read over most stuff then find forums at the bottom.

I don't care about the layout anymore.
They're starting to change it more often.
Soon, there will be a new one, probably.

I'm getting used to it, but I want that menu bar to be back. So it's faster. D:
Otherwise, I think it's stupid for some people to actually leave Gaia because of the layout.
And I read from a petition that they think the bottom menu looks like an ad.
I kinda have to agree.. xD;;
They should at least spice it up with more colors..
Or put it at the top. T__T;
