GREEN DAY BRAND NEW VIDEO WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS.
GO WATCHIT GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOVague title I know, but I was on the GDA and I saw the screenshots for "Wake Me Up When September Ends", which, As we all know, is the latest release off of American idiot. Here's the link, for the lazy people (like me!) CLICKDoes anyone else find the video set to be... a tad... I hate to say this, but it's the only way I can describe it. Pop-esque?

The set does look very pop culture-ish, which isn't too great. But it also looks like something I've seen in a realist exhibit, it looks very styilized like modern, modern art. And the lighting looks really cool. I look forward to it- even though it may look popish. I may feel differently after it comes out but I always look forward to the new releases.
Is that Jason I see playing guitar?! Is he going to be in the video?!
Well we'll have to see how it turns out. But I do agree- the set has a look I've seen before. But hey, it's not a crime... ninja or so they say... whee .
and Billie looks really....."special" avoiding other words...>.> >.< xP xD ninja

I don't get it, is Jason part of the band now?! oh well i have love for one more lol. The um lighting and all the effects are pretty cool, but it reminds me of something beyonce (sp?) would make but i guess it's appropriate for the song right? i mean it is something important from Billie and it should be something peacful and calm and give off an emotion of loss. i donno i'm starting to work my Media Arts talk. stupid class.

Knight Reaver If Billie-Joe doesn't stop double recording his albums, then Jason will stay with the band. I dunno, I wish they would stay a trio... I ABSOLUTELY think the same, so....BILLIE STOP DOUBLE RECORDING!!!!!! , I was impressed about Jason, but i made memory and he's also in another Green Day video, (guess wich one, he was so young!) it's too pop culture, that was my first tought, I would like to know who directed that video, also I tought that they would do a BETTER video for WMUBSE, i mean, something more their old style, like something real, not a scenario.

Anyways, I think it looks a bit poppish, but it also looks like it'd be in a hard rock video, too. And WMUWSE is neither. I dunno what to think about it...Jason does look like a member of the band. He's got his own little platform and everything! I dunno what to think about it....
Wow. Billie looks dead in that picture. I can't believe it's the same person as back in the Dookie days. Then, he was kinda happy and young-ish. He was just normal, or punk if you had to label him. Now he's almost...I can't say it...gothic. *shudders* That's not a word I'd ever think of using to describe Billie but in that picture he kind of looks like it. I miss the old him but if this is the way that he is gonna go then may it be. They're changing a lot but that's what happens with a lot of bands so they can't be blamed. They're just trying new things and...well...yeah. Now I'm outta stuff to say.
Gosh, look at me now, I'm not even talking about WMUWSE...blame ADD! xp By the way, if any of that made any sense, props to you! Because it hardly makes any sense to me. sweatdrop
