So, fanfics. Not just writing them, but reading them, too. Do you do it? How do you feel about it?
And what is it with people and Mark and Roger being more than friends? :O
I'm not going to lie - I read plenty of RENT fanfics. They keep me entertained, and some are actually good. But some are dumb, and I don't get it. And they totally don't do the characters right, and I get mad. Grr. mad

The only thing I've heard about Rent fanfic at all is the angry rantings of one of my friends.
Apparently he read one where Mark becomes a crossdresser because the spirit of Angel told him to and now he will never shut up about it.
xD
I've yet to give them a try because of him. Yours sounds great though.

No way! O: Becoming a crossdresser? See, things like that make them not so believable and RENT-y. I can't believe that!
Mine is not to be taken seriously. Merely some entertainment and kept me busy for about ten minutes.

I have a bunch of RENTfic ideas all written down on a piece of paper somewhere... but to be honest, I haven't written ANYTHING lately, not just RENT.
I do have one or two up at the moment though, in my FF.net archive...
As for Mark and Roger... I don't know. XD I don't like Roger since he's so whiny, but Mark is really cool.
*cough* What really bothers me... are non-canon pairings. Usually I can tolerate them, but not for RENT. I mean... Angel and Roger? WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?! How can it even work?!

I read a Mark&Joanne fanfic once.. I found it hilarious just because it doesn't seem right. I mean, does the word "lesbian" mean anything? Yeah, I get all these fun Rent fanfic ideas, I've actually been trying to do one... but no luck as of yet. I'dlike to read yours, though. smile

I LOVE fanfics, and I am guilty of writing a semi-mark-crossdresser one. It maked sence when you read it, but he does not end up a cross-dresser.... yeawhatever.
I like some non-cannon pairings like MarkRoger (when it's well-done) and I've seen a pretty good markAngel... the pairing bothered me but the writing was good.
A few pairings that REALLY bug me:
MaureenRoger
MarkMimi
MarkAngel
RogerAngel
MarkJoanne
and I saw the start of a MimiMaureen one what was REALLY confusing.
and I have written a fair few... I'm Laurel Ducky on FF.net check it out if you want.
