Anyone read this book? It is one of my favorites. It is set in Russia during the 2nd world war and is about Tatiana, a young innocent girl oblvious to what is going on around her. Then by a chance encounter she meets Alexander a tall handsome young man and falls instantly in love with him. Problem number one, he turns out to be her sisters new boyfriend and she is really serious about him.
It might sound predictable from what I said above, but really it is not. It is one of the most moving books I have ever read. It takes emotions to a whole new level. It is also an extremely interesting read from a historical point of view and takes you into the heart of communist Russia, rations and suffering. I recommend that you all read this book. Don't be put off by its side. You won't want it to end.
((The person who wanted to know the difference between light and serious romance, well this is serious romance))
